Sweet CEO’s First Love - Chapter 86
Mouse lay on the floor, eyes smiling as big as her mouth, her belly heaving up and down from all the laughter.
Ten looked at the mess of humans on his floor with a smile, as he sipped his tea from behind the counter. His chest and stomach rose and fell from the activity level, but unlike the others, he was much more accustomed to this energy level with his daily hours of dancing. So he was a better fit for running after a happy go lucky squealing seven-year-old. Saint’s muscles he built up, on his lonely weekends when at home were barely a help for anything but throwing Mouse in the air, and poor Kit who never did anything but walk around at a steady even pace was barely apt for any of it. He was the most dead out of the three of them. Heart had done relatively well keeping up with her and he figured it was all the walking and running around for classes and with his friends, or at his old jobs that had made him rise a bit above the rest.
Mouse sat up blinked up at him cutely before pulling herself up to standing, recovering much quicker than the rest of the adults around her.
“What now? What do you want to do? What can we play next, Uncle Ten?” Mouse asked him sweetly.
Ten opened his mouth to answer when a groan from across the room and on the floor interrupted him. He glanced over and hid a smirk as Kit rolled overlooking a little worse for wear, his normally perfect hair disheveled and out of place from being Mouse’s fire breathing dragon of doom she needed to chase the poor princes down.
“Another game?” Kit said forlornly.
“How are you not tired?” Saint asked.
Mouse looked at them blinking as if she couldn’t fathom why they were so exhausted.
“I’m seven.” She stated as if that explained everything.
Heart chuckled, unable to contain his laughter at her lighthearted approach for the old men who couldn’t keep up with her.
“So can we play? Can we play? Can we play?” She asked excitedly, jumping up and down, she walked over to Kit and tugged on his arm.
Ten chuckled into his cup, causing the tea to bubble around his mouth from the air.
As she yanked hard on Kit’s dark navy blue feather pattern shirt that cost about six thousand baht, he had taken off his green blazer about five minutes into play when he realized not only would he crease it but he would sweat like it was raining if he kept it on. He had taken off his dark green gem studded tie for almost the same reason, he didn’t want it ruined… And probably a little bit of the ‘I would prefer to not be strangled with it.’ So his navy blue shirt took all the suffering, while the rest of his clothes sat safely off to the side lying atop his suitcase..
Kit looked at her with good humor and then down at the shirt with pity and sorrow.
Ten looked out the window to try and recompose himself. He glanced at Kit again out of the corner of his eyes as he took another sip and noticed his wonderful loving, doting beautiful husband glaring at him from behind his light rimmed glasses.
“Okay, we can play another game.” Kit agreed.
“Please, please Mouse whatever game it is, can we sit down this time?” Saint asked, his feelings of exhaustion clearly written across his face.
Ten couldn’t blame him since Saint had been the one carrying Mouse around when Kit hadn’t been, he had been the one to get in a sword fight with Kit to the death despite how Heart was originally supposed to be the one rescuing him. A few minutes into the game Mouse had decided it would be funny if the Hero were actually bad at heroing cause he failed hero school, and so he ended up trying to save the prince but instead getting captured too. Which had been where Ten had come into play; he had been their lowly cellmate, a thief and a street rat who picked their way free, helped them get out of the maze of tunnels and out into the forest where they had become free.
His job had basically consisted of handing some invisible things to Saint, using his finger to pick a lock, and then walking very fast around the house, all before running away to safety in his home behind their counter. While Saint had to run through the house escaping shadow assassins, a queen who had eaten a cake which made her able to fly, which she used to attack Saint and get him to fly her around the room. Only to find that she didn’t like that very much and switched the whole plot halfway through to a dragon trying to eat the unfortunate Saint for lunch for stealing his favorite coin polisher Heart from him. Which had been where Kit had come in. And all of it had nothing to do with him. Which was rather amusing and also had given him a great view of the entire game.
Normally when he watched Mouse it was just him and Mouse and they would play, go places, watch TV or do crafts. Basically, they would pretty much do everything together and so while he was a bit sad that she had gotten him in and out of the game fast it made sense since she got to play with him lots more than any of the other Uncles.
Normally Kit was at work and Saint she only had ever played with inside his office before today. He had taken her to the amusement park once but that was very different from finding something for a child Mouses age to do in an enclosed space for a long period of time. Kids her age got bored very easily, and Mouse was the type to not want to sit in front of the TV for hours so this kinda play was something she loved to do. Now, it was refreshing to see that she was enjoying all her time with her Uncles.
“Okay, a sitting down game? Can we play pass then?” Mouse asked.
Ten turned to get the ball from in the extra room where Heart had stayed, he kept it in the top of the closet for this exact reason. He wasn’t much of one for sports and instead really liked crafting and had a bunch of crafting stuff, which he never got to use because he was so busy and when he had bought the ball Kit had been confused why he needed it since the only sportsy thing Ten did was dance and he had no time to pick up any other sport even if he did have the willingness to learn one…
Which he didn’t.
“What’s that?” He heard Saint ask before he was out of earshot in the other room
Ten grabbed the bright peachy colored ball and brought it out into the living room, “Kit grab that side of the couch Heart grab the other, drag it out of the way.” Ten ordered,.
The two complied easily, lifting the lightweight couch off to the side and out of the way. Ten brought the ball into the room and Mouse ran up to him and smiled.
“Can I have the ball, Please?” Mouse asked
Ten smiled, ruffled her hair with his free hand and offered the ball he had tucked under his arm on his left side to Mouse.
“Here let me show you Uncle Saint, Heart.” Mouse said giddily, overhyped and excited to play with them again.
They all turned their heads towards Mouse as she said their names too quickly and too close to each other that it had sounded like in her excitement that she had called her uncle’s SweetHeart.
Kit burst out into a slow chuckle.
Heart’s ears started to turn pink at the end.
“Oh, that’s cute” Mouse squealed with delight. “Your names together make SweetHeart.”
Kit turned to Saint. “How did I never, not realize that before?” He said wiggling his eyebrows in a way that suggested that he damn well knew about this already and had been silently chuckling about it for months.
‘This devious witch of a husband of mine.’ Ten thought completely one hundred percent bemused by the situation.
“Okay, so what you do is one of you sits far over there and the other one,” she said, grabbing Heart’s hand and dragging him with her across the room to next to the shoes in the entrance. “One of you goes over here.”
“Then you sit down, we roll the ball to each other.” Mouse stated.
Heart blinked. “Ah, sorry Mouse that’s really far,” he said.
I am not very good at sports.” He admitted scratching the back of his head.
“And that is actually pretty far, like nine to ten feet.”
Mouse giggled, “No silly I am going to sit over here in the middle and we will pass it around to each other.”
She explained giggling.
Ten was about to comment something when the doorbell rang interrupting him.
“Oh I will get it,” He said then walked over to the door making sure to carefully step behind Heart who moved out of the way for him a little bit.
Ten opened the door and his eyes widened with a pleasant surprise.
“What are you two doing here?” Ten asked.
Nine smiled. “Heyo, P’”
“Hi, Nine, Hi Sun what are you two doing here?”
“Oh, we were at the Hospital together going to get my ankle double checked as it’s really hurting today.”
“That’s horrible. Are you alright?” Ten asked, concerned.
Kit walked up behind him and wrapped his arms around Ten lovingly for support.
“What’s the matter?” He asked, curious.
“Oh, just my ankle was hurting so I went to the doctor you guys live close by so I figured I would pop over and give Ten his bedazzled jacket.”
“My jacket?” Ten asked looking at it.
“Yeah, remember what Dew said, you have to be sure to be caught at the Airport in it so that there are pictures of it everywhere. They want to push the colors, and the design so that the fans are excited to buy the merch for H.M>L.”
Ten sighed but took the jacket.
“Alright, I will make sure to wear it.”
Mouse poked her head around. “P, Nine!” She squealed with delight and ran out and hugged him.
Ten smirked since she knew all the members outside of the new members since she had been to a few of his practices before the others had joined.
“Hi, Mousey, how is the prettiest Nong in the world doing today?” Nine asked, petting her soft black hair.
“Good, I am playing with all my uncles.” She stated.
“I should go back,” but then she paused seeing Sun.
“Who are you?” She asked.
“His name is Sun, he is a dancer too.” Nine said.
“Ooo, that’s cool… Okay bye..” She said, excusing herself, then squashing past Ten again and ran back inside.
