Sweetheart V5: The Boss Is Too Kind By Hua Er Bao - Chapter 113
Her knees wobbled and she almost fell back.
Lu Ming strode toward their direction, and the two woman felt a wave of chill across their spine. No one dared to breathe.
He went past them, toward the glass doors where hung a sign of ‘open’. Lu Ming flipped it to ‘close’ and turned around fixing his gaze over the crouched waiter.
“Close the curtains”
The waiter did not dare to neglect, and immediately ran toward the counter where his picked a remote and pressed a button.
The curtains slowly slid down blocking the outside view.
Lu Ming walked back and went to the table where Chen Nang was now hiding. He knelt down and looked at him. Lu Ming’s eyes were like sharp blades that caused him tremble.
“Which hand you used?”
“…”
Chen Nang shook his head and hid his hands behind him, he recalled Jing Yi saying Lu Ming is her husband and now after seeing how cold, authoritative and demonic this person in front of him was. Chen Nang was sure that this man was none other than the prince of the S-city!
He regretted his hotheadedness.
“Did you used both of them?”
“…”
Chen Nang shrunk back further and refused to come out.
Lu Ming stood up and swept his eyes over the other four people in the hall,
“Who else was with him?”
Everyone shook their head quickly.
Lu Ming took back his line of sight and kicked away the chair in front of him without any pause he slammed away the table.
Chen Nang flinched and tried to move back but the fallen pieces of broken glass cut his skin, he begged for mercy as Lu Ming came closer
“Lu…Lu…I-I am sorry! I…I shouldn’t have…”
Lu Ming picked a stake knife from the nearby table and his leather shoes made crunching sounds as he walked over the broken glass pieces.
The atmosphere didn’t dare to breathe, a silent storm of cold made everyone freeze in their corners.
Yiren’s small voice came,
“Lu…Ming…the police…”
The captain of the police was also momentarily frozen until Yiren’s voice snapped him back to reality, he straightened his waist,
“Chairman Lu!”
He came inside followed by the other policemen.
Lu Ming didn’t replied and turned away to walk toward Jing Yi. With one hand he removed his coat and wrapped it around her.
Anger was still boiling in his veins, his body was itching to finish of the fat man but the moment he saw Jing Yi his anger turned into tenderness.
Gently he lifted her in his arms, and gently stroked her face trying to calm her still quivering body.
“Yiren, I am here now. There’s no need to afraid”
Jing Yi felt the familiar presence around her and without knowing her body calmed down.
But she didn’t speak and bit her lips as she looked at him.
Lu Ming stroked her hair away and tucked them behind her ear, feelings of distress clawed his heart.
