For the rest of the journey, Jing Yi didn’t dare mention his illness again.

When they arrived home, Butler Wu was already waiting at the door. Once he helped Lu Ming take off his cloth, he followed Yiren and said,

“Miss Jing, your brother Jing Xi has called and said he wants to talk with you”

“Okay” Jing Yi responded as she went toward the landline, “I will call him back”

Lu Ming changed shoes at the entrance and noticed that Jing Yi was so eager to call Jing Xi that she didn’t even bothered to change shoes.

“No” his voice was cold, making Jing Yi froze in her steps, “Go to sleep”

Jing Yi was inches away from the telephone and didn’t understand what made Lu Ming angry now, Subconsciously she turned back and asked,

“Why?”

“No reason! Go to bed or I will take care of you right now!”

“…” Jing Yi licked her lips, glanced at the metal phone next to the sofa, and reluctantly turned around to go upstairs.

Back in the room, Jing Yi took a shower and didn’t hurry to sleep, instead she watched a comedy film on the TV.

“Why didn’t you came to my concert yesterday?”
