Swordswoman: The Few Unrecorded Decades - Chapter 54
Inside the dungeon where prisoners are locked up, the advisor of Emperor Ma Bing looked at him with bitterness. He had not expected that the man on the prison cell who is laughing endlessly in front of him would be the ruler of Ma Empire. This man was acting hysterical and had even failed to control his own saliva as it drops from his mouth!
Emperor Ma Bing is drooling like a baby!
“Sir, our majesty, Emperor Chi Xing has asked you to come.” A servant approached him from behind.
The advisor took a quick mournful glance at Emperor Ma Bing before he moved his feet. They walk silently towards the pavilion where Emperor Chi Xing is.
“Your majesty.” He bowed his head respectfully and greeted the emperor.
“You may rise.” The solemn voice of Emperor Chi Xing sounded.
“Your majesty, I ask you to help my Emperor.” the advisor pleaded.
A sly smile appeared on Emperor Chi Xing’s face. Help? That would be last thing he would offer to the man.
“Emperor Ma Bing went to the Empire of Hong in Region S and came back with strange affliction. The Hong emperor may know what had caused his madness. I can give you assistance to attack that empire. With their small territory and the power of the Soul Practitioners, it would be easy to conquer them!” Emperor Chi Xing stated and looked at the man.
“This… In that case, I shall gather all our members’ first.” the advisor reluctantly responded.
“This is General Fang. He will lead my army and help you on attacking the Hong Empire.” Emperor Chi Xing commanded.
The advisor and general bowed their heads before they went out of the pavilion.
Emperor Chi Xing stared at the two retreating figure until they had exited the hall. His plan is to conquer the two Empires of Region S by using the Huang Empire to attack the Ning Empire and the Empire of Ma against the Empire of Hong.
He is confident that this strategy of causing ruckus on the east while destroying the west is the most efficient arrangement.
Meanwhile, Emperor He Mo together with his two companies was resting inside the cheap inn they had rented. Emperor He Mo is painting a strange symbol on his left wrists. Ye Shin did not ask anything but she looked at the symbol.
It was like stigmata!
The night is still young. The little girl who had disguised as an old woman had return to its normal appearance.
“Little girl, I will write a letter to Emperor Hong Te. What is your name?” the emperor asked as he holds the pen in his hand.
“Ji Liuha.” the little girl responded.
Emperor He Mo proceeded to slowly write her name on the paper and handed the letter to the little girl.
“Tomorrow at dawn, you will head to the Empire of Hong. There is a war on the border of Huang and Ning Empire so you must not use the usual route. Instead, I have drawn you an alternative map. Since you are good at disguise, use it when you are traveling.” Emperor He Mo told her.
“Mister, I am not good with disguise. If I am good, you would not recognize me!” the little girl responded with gloomy expression.
“Well, when you disguise your face, you must include your hands.” Emperor He Mo said.
“So that is how you found out that I was just in disguised. In the future, I will keep that in mind.” the little girl said and placed the letter on her pocket.
After several hours, Emperor He Mo and Ye Shin left the inn. The little girl is already sleeping soundlessly. Exhaustion is evident in her face.
The two quickly arrived at the Chi Palace. In the silent of the night, six soldiers were guarding the entrance of the palace gate.
Unbeknownst to them, this night is beyond the usual night of their duty.
Ye Shin and Emperor He Mo approaches the soldiers without any trace of nervousness.
“Stop!” two of the soldiers blocked them.
“Identify yourself.” another guard commanded.
Emperor He Mo did not speak but showed them the symbol he had painted on his wrists.
“Oh, an honored guests of the palace. We apologize for our boldness. Please enter.” the guards offered an honorific bow at them before opening the gate. They then, strides casually.
The sign that Emperor He Mo had placed on his wrists was indeed a symbol that only honored and venerable guests wear inside the Chi Palace. His spy had discovered this crucial information and the result did not disappoint him.
They maintain their dignified countenance as the other guards patrolling passed by. None of their action had raised suspension. When the area is clear, Emperor He Mo took out a paper on his pocket.
As they looked at the entire lay out of the palace, a sudden laughter rang through the night! They immediately jolted and hide behind the trees.
Three soldiers passed on them again with sullen expressions. This hysterical laugh had almost gotten into their nerves. They are not aware of the identity of the person who was constantly laughing at night and had been disturbing them. All they knew is that the person is a prisoner.
“Oh, how I wish I could cut the tongue of this criminal!” one of the guards exclaimed. His comrades nodded their heads but did not speak anything.
Emperor He Mo and Ye Shin observed the movements of the patrol guards until they walked farther away. When the guards were gone, the two immediately went towards the pavilion where Emperor Chi Xing is resting.
As soon as they arrived at the place, Ye Shin felt an extreme malice within the vicinity. Then, she also sensed a great intention to kill!
Eight figures suddenly showed up in front of them and without warning, they were surrounded!
“Who dares to harm our majesty!” the leader coldly said to them while pointing his sword to their direction.
Before anyone could react, an invisible weapon had struck at them. Their eyes widened before they held their last breath.
“Who dares to harm my majesty!” Ye Shin quietly mumbled while staring at the lifeless eyes of the leader.
Ye Shin would never give them an opportunity to ruin their main goal that night.
When Emperor He Mo heard what the lady had silently spoken, a gentle smile appeared on his lips before he proceeded to enter the pavilion.
Meanwhile, Emperor Chi Xing who was asleep suddenly opened his eyes!
His instinct had told him that a disaster is coming. He quickly jolted awake, sprang up from his bed and grabbed a tiny black object on his table.
