Their mission was completed but for the first time, panic has shown on Ye Shin’s face!

She slowly touched the forehead of Emperor He Mo and found out that the man is burning up. His pulse is also erratic and the body temperature kept raising!

Without a second thought, Ye Shin sent her inner force but as soon as it entered on his skin, it just evaporated! Under the fiery blaze of the dragon devil inside the body of Emperor He Mo, her inner force is just like a sprinkle of water.

The heat on his body refuses to be tamed!

On the wrists of the young emperor where the crest was drawn, various tiny lights are continuously shining. Ye Shin looked at the symbol for a long time trying to memorize every curve on it.

“Elder, what is happening?” Ye Shin finally asked the elder’s soul inhabiting within her as her anxiety started to build up.

“Ah! This devil has chosen this young man. It is not really a contract but rather a voluntary awakening.” the elder’s soul responded.

“What does it mean?” The response of the elder made Ye Shin more confused.

“Lady, it is rather complex! There is heaven and there is earth. The universe exists. Located at the central core of our universe, there live the various tribes of the devils. But no human knows where the central core is located. Is it lies in heaven or on the earth? The only thing we knew is that it is a chaotic place and most of the devils are suppressed by a certain order in there. Those devils who want to go out of the central core can create a pack between humans. Thus, the existence of a contract.” the elder’s soul explained.

“As for voluntary awakening, it only means that this young man is not entirely human. He could be a part of the devil tribe! Speaking of this tribe, in fact, his name is equivalent to a certain book that I had once read. In that book, the name He Mo could mean Devil’s Slumber. If that’s the case, he should be okay with the awakening. But the personality may change by the time he will gain back his consciousness.” the elder’s soul finished his explanation.

Ye Shin nods her head and stared at the emperor with concerned eyes.

Meanwhile, on the pitiful unconscious state of the young emperor, his mind was indeed shipped in the depth of the central core. A fat dragon emerged and a fierce fire came out of its mouth and kept blowing the fire on him.

It was as if he was subjected to torture by the fat dragon! He screamed at the top of his lungs until his throat becomes sore.

“Your mental strength is actually this weak! What are you screaming for?” the dragon asked him with full of disappointment and contempt.

Emperor He Mo could not help but also asked the same question to himself.

As the question appeared on his mind, he also realized that the fire was not hot!

It was his state of mind that had indeed automatically perceived that fire is harmful and triggered his panic reaction but in fact, this fire is giving him a warm and cozy feeling!

“What are you?! Why am I here?” A series of questions was uttered by Emperor He Mo after his realization.

“You have the origin of our kind. I could smell a faint aura yet an unfathomable ability within you. Perhaps, you were on the prophecy of the banished tribe!” Emperor He Mo looked dumbfounded upon hearing the response of the fat dragon. He scowled at the creature as he keeps on trying to analyze his situation.

“Kid, listen carefully. We devils are divided into different tribes according to our ability. Long ago, I have the ability of pride and power. Some have the ability of greed, lust, deceit, and many more. But among these abilities, there is one tribe that was banished in this world because it had threatened the existence of our order. Or perhaps their ability became a threat to the person who created the order. This tribe is believed to hold the ability of authority!” The fat dragon looked down and stared at emperor He Mo with deep interest.

What is authority? Put it simply as anyone can have the wealth but does not possess authority over the richness. It means the rich and powerful are still required to follow certain rules!

But if a man posses the ability of authority, he can easily manipulate or create the rule and order according to his will! This man is boundless!

Emperor He Mo stared back at the fat dragon and asked, “What do you want from me? I am just an ordinary human!”

The fat dragon scoffed and replied, “You are not a human. Have you wondered why my fire is not burning you the moment I pointed out your reason for screaming? It is not because the fire has changed but it was because you have changed the effect of fire towards the physical body! That is proof that you are indeed from the banished tribe!”

“Alas, I don’t have any recollection of this tribe that you kept on babbling.” Emperor He Mo murmured as he looked around. The place is unfamiliar and dark but the absence of light does not scare him.

“There is a huge anomaly of the central core. The devils found the solution to remove the barrier here. It was human blood and life! So, they have managed to manipulate other humans into sacrificing their lives to weaken the barrier that suppressed them here. For some reason, the order has long vanished. If the barrier is destroyed completely, not only your people but the whole continent will be in danger!” the fat dragon told the emperor.

“Isn’t it beneficial to you if this thing will befall?” Emperor He Mo asked.

“No! I had left this world for a long time. But someone from my new universe sent me back here to fix the order. When you started plotting against the Chi Emperor, It was the first time that I noticed the faint aura within you.” the fat dragon continues on his explanation with a serious tone.

Emperor He Mo could not help but felt wary after all the explanation he had heard. He was somewhat perplexed by the idea that the fat dragon said. What does this creature mean about the new universe?

Back on the Chi Palace, the dawn has come and the sun started to shine on the East. Luckily, no servant had checked on Emperor Chi Xing. While Emperor He Mo’s temperature gradually returned to normal, Ye Shin sighed in relief. Her calm demeanor was also back.

In the silence of the morning, a servant suddenly shouted from the outside.

“Emperor Huang Le requests for an audience, your majesty!”

After the servant made an announcement, the panic voice of Emperor Huang Le followed,

“Emperor Chi Xing, this is urgent! I need your reinforcement! My soldiers were defeated by the Nings and they are advancing to my kingdom!”

Emperor Huang Le waited patiently but nobody responded. He lost his cool and tried to push the door but the servant scolded him.

“Outrageous! Our majesty is still resting! Emperor Huang Le, you must learn to be patient and wait until our emperor wakes up.” The servant was clearly out of line but Emperor Huang Le could not be bothered by such action. He just anxiously stood outside and did not speak anymore.
