System Journey to Godhood - Chapter 101
Creak.
As The gate of Heavenly Sword Sect opened, an enchanting figure wearing blue Daoist garb and a short skirt appeared from inside.
Her every movement exuded irresistible charm and her bewitching smile could easily lead men astray.
Although her face wasn’t as breathtaking as Feng Xue or Snowy’s, her glistening lips and misty eyes made most of the male cultivator drooling.
She could easily be mistaken as a transformation of Fox Demon.
“Welcome to the Heaven Sword Sect recruitment examination. Maybe some of you had already recognized me but for you who still yet know who I am, my name is Mu Lan and you can call me fourth elder or elder Lan,” the woman said in a sultry voice.
“As you all know, our Heavenly Sword Sect still going until now because we respect talent and potential. Only the best material could be forge into a peerless sword, the same as a cultivator, only the most talented and hardworking people could become a peerless expert.
From everybody here, maybe only 1 in 100 examinees could pass all of our tests and become our fellow disciples.”
Everybody’s expression turned solemn when they heard the difficulty of the examination. But it was still within their expectation. If their requirement wasn’t this strict how could Heaven Sword Sect acknowledge as the number one sect in Eastern Region? The fighting spirit in every examinee burned even more fierce.
Elder Lan nodded in satisfaction and continued her explanation.
“There will be four tests in today’s examination. Every stage of the test is a round of elimination so if you fail in the previous test you don’t have the qualification to advance to the next test.
“The first test is called the Sword Gate, in this test your bone age, bloodline, physique, and talent will be examined. Only cultivators below 25 years old and have talent above 3 stars could pass the first test. If you are not confidence in passing this stage, you better step back right now and don’t waste yours and our time,” said Elder Lan with captivating smile on her face but somehow all examinees could felt the coldness chilled down their spine.
“The second test is called the Sword Ascension. After you pass the gate, there will be there will 81 stairs you need to climb. Every 9 stairs you pass there will be a small gate. You need to pass at least three gates in three hours to advance to the third round. This round will test your will as cultivator, especially a sword cultivator. We sword cultivator don’t bow to heaven and weren’t shackled by earth. We will slash through the obstacle and go further to walk on our Sword Dao,” said Elder Lan feverishly. The examinees caught up in her mood, turning more determined.
“The third test is called the Sword Tablet. In this test we will test your sword comprehension. Whether you’ll choose sword as your main weapon in the future or not, our basic foundation still is the sword Dao. You all only need to achieve initial success of the sword art that engraved on the sword tablet in six hours to pass the third round.

Every level you pass will give you 1000 contribution points. The detail about contribution point and their usage could be learn in Contribution Hall in the future.
Is there any question?”
Elder Lan finished the explanation in one go and then pointed at one of the cultivators who raise their hands. The one who she chose was a timid looking boy who didn’t seemed more than twenty years old.
“What are your question?”
“Um… Elder Lan, a-are you… are you going to accept disciple?” the young boy stuttered and glanced at Elder Lan shyly.
Elder Lan laughed sweetly and answered him with ambiguous tone, “Maybe if they get excellent results, maybe they will get a chance with me.”
The crowds broke into cheers, especially the male cultivators who silently gave the young boy thumbs up in their hearts.
‘What a vixen,’ the girls camp snorted inwardly.
“Here she goes again, how many innocent boys’ heart will she break this time?” Feng Xue couldn’t help but comment.
“Can’t be helped, she is that beautiful,” blurted Snowy without a thought.
“What? Are you interested?” said Feng Xue coldly.
“But you are still the most beautiful,” said Snowy hurriedly, afraid that Feng Xue would be angry and give her cold treatment.
“Hmph. It won’t worked next time,” Feng Xue lightly snorted.
Snowy sighed in relieve. It seemed that she successfully avoided the wrath of her jealous bug this time.
The voice of Elder Lan once again resounded in the crowd, “Without further ado, we will start the first round. Please line up neatly to proceed.”
While Snowy wait for her name to be called, suddenly two peoples walked toward her.
“Greeting Senior Sister Feng,” the two of them saluted to Feng Xue.
Snowy instantly recognized one of the two peoples, she was Xian Qingruo who she slapped three days ago. She was surprised that she didn’t hide her hostility when she looked back at her.
‘Smells like trouble,’ Snowy chuckled inwardly.
Feng Xue also sensed that the two people came bearing ill will. She coldly answered, “Do I know you?”
The man didn’t mind her cold response and smiled, “I’m Xian Bu Yu. Senior Sister might not know me, but I have long heard about Senior Sister thunderous reputation. It’s my blessing to be able to see you in person.”
“Cut your crap and get to the point,” Feng Xue said curtly. She didn’t want to chat with these two obnoxious sibling.
“Sorry if we make Senior Sister uncomfortable, we just want to apologize for the misunderstanding between Senior Sister and my cousin,” Xian Bu Yu continued speak with amiable tone.
“It had been settled that day, you don’t need to worry. If you don’t have anything to say please leave us alone,” replied Feng Xue bluntly. She didn’t believe even an inch of what he said.
Xian Bu Yu didn’t speak to Feng Xue anymore and shift his attention to Snowy and sized her up.
Feng Xue felt furious by how he stared at Snowy and snapped, “Stop gawking at her or I’ll bawl your eyes!”
“Pardon for my rudeness. I’m only curious to see what kind of people this fellow Daoist is to be able to make a friend with Senior Sister, she must be as talented as you’re, right?”
“Of course, Snowy is even more talented than me. But it has nothing with you, now scram!” blurted Feng Xue instantaneously as she riled up by Xian Bu Yu words.
“Don’t be angry, Senior Sister. I just want to make a small bet with her to make the competition more fun,” said Xian Bu Yu ignoring Feng Xue’s tantrum. And then he looked at Snowy tauntingly, “What do you say?”
“Not Interested,” said Snowy in matter-of-fact tone but still pleasing to the ear.
“Why? Are you afraid you can’t win? Or are you afraid to let down Senior Sister Feng?” mocked Xian Qingruo.
“Not interested,” Snowy still indifferent.
“Yeah, maybe she afraid that Senior Sister Feng will disappointed in her,” an unknown voice came from the crowds.
“Is she leeching of Senior Sister Feng? Shameless!”
“Yes, fuck off from Senior Sister Feng if you don’t dare to accept the challenge!”
“Senior Sister Feng please don’t let such shameless people get near you!”
Out of the blue, many dissident voice came from the crowds further enraged Feng Xue.
‘How dare they slander my Snowy!’
Just about Feng Xue going to explode, Snowy stared at Xian Bu Yu with the same indifferent look.
“What bet?”
