System Journey to Godhood - Chapter 78
After calming down, Snowy browsed her record to check the Compendium of Alchemy Dao passed down by Alchemy Goddess.
‘Tian’er’s attainment in Alchemy Dao had already reached such a high level. It might even reach the apex if she had more time.’
Snowy’s heart swelled with pride as she scanned through the compendium’s contents. It was well organized and divided into several parts.
The basic section contained any medicine recipe, alchemy technique, and alchemy theory suitable for early-stage Alchemy practitioners, such as Alchemy Apprentice, Alchemy Master, and Alchemy Grandmaster.
After the foundation became sufficiently solid, the intermediate section provided alchemists with insights into alchemy law in addition to higher grade medicine recipes and alchemy techniques.
A practitioner could advance to Alchemist King, Alchemy Exalted, and then Alchemy Saint after they fully comprehend this section.
Next, the advanced section guided the practitioners to light up their divine spark and gain divinity in Alchemy. Any practitioner who could fully comprehend this section is worth the name Alchemy God.
In fact, Alchemy Goddess wasn’t the only godly cultivator who was preceding over Alchemy divinity.
However, due to her peerless proficiency in Alchemy Dao, if she claimed to be the number two in the matter of Alchemy, nobody would dare to claim the first position.
But that wasn’t the end.
The last section in Compendium of Alchemy Dao was what the Alchemy Goddess called it the beyond section.
It didn’t contain any rare and precious medicine recipe or high-profiled technique.
To Snowy’s surprise, the content was very similar to the basic section.
The difference was that the beyond section was filled with Alchemy Goddess comprehension of the Alchemy Dao, which provided insight of the source to any alchemist who read the compendium.
This knowledge was priceless, for it was the distillation of the Alchemist Goddess’ million years of experience in uncovering the nature of alchemy.
Whether purifying medicines, refining pills, or tempering ointments, the heart of all these methods is to extract their essences and utilize their effects.
As long as alchemists were familiar with all of the medical characteristics, they should be able to determine the effects of the various substances when combined.
Otherwise also rang true, with a concise effect that wanted to achieve, an alchemist with this caliber only needed a blink of an eye to creating a perfect formula suitable to their needs.
Thus, it was not exaggerated to called an alchemist with the level of alchemy proficiency beyond god an Alchemist Dao Lord.

Only in 3 seconds, Snowy had become an Alchemy Grandmaster.
If any of the alchemists in Mortal Plane were to catch the wind of this event, they would surely want to commit mass suicide immediately.
Alchemist, especially who had already in Grandmaster stage, was a lofty and highly respected profession.
Nurturing one of them required generational resources and ample time, so Alchemy Grandmasters’ numbers were quite scarce.
That was why many prominent alchemists mostly came from Big Sects, Great Family, or Everlasting Dynasty.
But here, Snowy was becoming one as easy as turning one’s hand over.
‘I still have a lot of unused money. I think I should use them to buy some ingredients for alchemy practice. Even though my proficiency had reached the grandmaster level, I still need to accustom myself to it a little bit,’ pondered Snowy.
As Snowy search for some recipe in the compendium, a loud pitter-patter approached the room, followed by a panicked voice.
“Snowy, are you okay?!”
The flashing light from Snowy’s chamber and the unexpected thunderous boom in the sky startled Feng Xue and Madam Feng, who were enjoying their conversation.
They rushed over to check on Snowy, worried that anything had happened to her.
“Xue, Aunt Feng… Don’t worry, I’m okay…” replied Snowy.
“What happened before?” asked Feng Xue.
“Nothing, I just did something with the cauldron,” said Snowy with a toneless voice.
Although Snowy replied normally, Feng Xue could catch a hint of sadness in her voice.
She realized something relating to the Alchemy Goddess must have happened prior to their arrival.
“Snowy…”
Feng Xue immediately grabbed Snowy’s hand and hugged her; it was the only way she could think of to console Snowy.
Snowy accepted her and just laying in Feng Xue’s embrace.
The rosy atmosphere persisted for a bit before they remembered that Madam Feng was still in the room and then separated from each other in haste.
“Hehe, don’t mind me….” smirked Madam Feng while winking at them teasingly.
“Mom?!”
“Aunt Feng…”
Snowy and Feng Xue suddenly wanted to turn into a mole and to dig a deep hole for them to hide in.
Madam Feng enjoyed their reaction very much and thought that it wasn’t bad to have another daughter.
‘Maybe, when husband has fully recovered,’
Madam Feng shook her head to dispel strange thoughts in her head and looked at Snowy once more.
“Don’t call me Aunt anymore; instead, call me Mom like little Xue from now on,” said Madam Feng gently.
Snowy hesitated a little bit because this was the first time she called someone “mother”.
She knew how important parents’ existence for a human, especially a mother who usually became a role model or a teacher.
In the early stage of someone’s life, the emotion was usually guided and shaped by their mother’s existence.
She stumped what to do and glanced at Feng Xue.
Feng Xue just gave a weak nod before averting her eyes from Snowy’s gaze while her countenance was turning red.
“Un. Thank you, mom…” mumbled Snowy, feeling as embarrassed as Feng Xue.
“Good, good,” said Madam Feng cheerfully. “Little Snowy, Little Xue, I’ll back to your father’s room to check his condition. You can resume your talk.”
“But, I advise you to keep your voice low, okay~~” Just before she exited the room, Madam Feng turned around and gave them a playful wink.
