System Of Gods And Devils - Chapter 56
“Supreme” shouted both.
The clan leader looked up and felt helpless. Since the supreme arrived quicker than he thought, everything looked hopeless now.
Not losing his cool, he was thinking for a way to stall time.
The horse race man gritted his teeth. Since he wasn’t from a prominent family, he didn’t dare to negotiate with a Supreme. A merchant like him will be killed if he annoys a Supreme.
Still, he didn’t retreat. He backed off showing his submission to the Supreme. But inside he was planning to fish in troubled waters.
The Supreme smiled and said, “Where are your other clansmen? Don’t waste my time, reply quick. If you don’t oppose me, I promise I will take good care of you!” inside the supreme wanted to finish the matter as quickly as possible because he knew someone might be on their way.
The Supreme looked at the angry and displeased faces of the Silver Fox tribe. But their face showed no fear and was brave enough to face death.
The Supreme sighed and again tried to convince them, “I know you guys don’t trust me! But I promise to make a leeway for your future generation to grow in a safer place without worries of being a slave if you surrender now. What do you say?” he thought it might be a good bait since the kids might not be worth it because they couldn’t perform Divination now and the war might be over before they grow up.
Even after his speech, the Supreme didn’t saw a single face flinch. He was getting frustrated while the clansmen thought their kids better die than to live a life like a slave. Obviously, they didn’t believe what the Supreme has promised.
The Supreme didn’t want to take any more chances, “Ok, this is not getting any better!” he said as he threw out numerous inscriptions sheet towards their forehead.
They knew the Supreme was trying to plant a slave seal on them. They tried to dodge, but they found themselves rooted on the ground.
*shit* Everyone growled in anger. Some even tried to take their own lives before becoming a slave, but before the Supreme’s pressure, they were no different from a statue.
In the presence of Supreme, they felt like an ant in front of the mountain. The Supreme pressured them, while the Slave seal planted on every single of them except for the clan leader who broke free from the pressure.
The Supreme clicked his tongue in annoyance. But was happy after seeing a whole group of Silver Immortal fox kneeling in front of him.
The Clan leader felt weak after successfully break free from Supreme’s bind. He knew he couldn’t dodge another one.
While he was panting on the ground, the Supreme decided to ignore him because the quantity was his priority now.

While the conversation between them was going on.
The horse race man quietly retreated from his spot with others in search of other tribe members. He made it seems like he was fleeing from the planet but secretly invaded the Fox tribe’s former territory.
He found the whole place deserted, “Quick! Look for them! They shouldn’t have got much far from here!” he could guess the escape route because he already scanned the whole planet and planned everything out in case of any escapees.
“We have found them!” after a minute a boar race man shouted.
They used eagle race slave who was proficient in distance vision. Using their gifted eyes, they could see 100 miles distance clearly.
They were a group a woman with children and elderly fleeing while trying to mask their presence.
The eagle eye also reported visibility of another group of men running in another direction.
“They are two groups visible! Which group do you want us to follow?” a Boar race man asked.
The horse race man frowned at their divide and escape tactics. He quickly decided to kidnap woman since he can breed them and use them for long business. Also, they were more abundant in number than the men.
He made a quick decision while most of his decision was due to l.u.s.t. He was drolling in the thought of keeping the exquisite looking Silver Immortal fox woman as his secretary.
The one that is leading them was a middle-aged woman in her 40’s. Her face looked similar to Lisa. She was horrified when she found being caught by the horse race man.
“Don’t let anyone escape! I want them all in one piece!” the horse race man shouted. He was happy seeing the total of 50 women with 70 children and elderly.
**********************
“Now can anyone tell me where are the others?” the Supreme asked.
They looked at each other and said, “Master, we don’t know their escape route! The only thing we know is that they are divided into numerous groups with an Elder to protect them. But the clan leader must know it. ”
The Supreme felt angry now. He looked at the mocking smile of the clan leader. The clan leader had a knife on his throat as he looked mockingly at the Supreme.
The Supreme raged since he can’t plant a slave seal again in fear that he might kill himself and the clock is ticking.
He believed every single slave was very valuable and also his only chance to use it to gain a path to immortality. He wanted to sell the slaves at a sky-high price and buy resources to attack immortality. This was his chance if he fails this time then he doesn’t know when he can get an opportunity to earn big.
Gritting his teeth, he picked up a slave and asked him to perform divination on him. Divination can only be performed at a person, not on purpose. So with a bleeding heart, he asked the fox slave to perform a divination to find a clue.
The clan leader raged inside; he wanted to bite off a chunk of flesh from the Supreme’s neck.
The Slave’s hair slowly turned white from silver color. His eyes also looked foggy white while his skin turned grey.
He opened his eyes and said, “Master! I cannot peek more than 10 minutes of your future!”
“What? Why?” inside he was raging and confused not knowing why the divination has failed.
“Did they degraded during these years or did they forgot how to perform divination?” he thought inside.
“Master the reason why I cannot peek into more than 10 minutes of your future because you will die within 10 minutes!” the slave said.
As he finished his sentence, a mighty pressure fell on him crushing him onto the ground.
