Systemless Villain - Chapter 259 The Savior's Arrival
In the expansive expanse of the clear sky, Long Tian hovered above the dense forest, his keen gaze fixated on a particular section of the woods that appeared strangely barren, as though it defied natural order.
“The explosion we heard earlier originated from this very spot; I am certain Mrs. Alexia is located here!” he declared with utmost determination.
Without a moment’s hesitation, he swiftly retracted his wings, allowing his body to crackle with vibrant yellow lightning as he descended rapidly from the sky, hurtling towards the ground from thousands of feet above.
BANG!
Long Tian made a resounding impact as he landed with a force akin to a thunderbolt, causing the earth to tremble and sending clouds of dust billowing into the air.
The settling dust unveiled a scene of desolation—a portion of the forest appeared scorched, with lingering flames casting an eerie glow amidst the charred trees.
“This must be the very site of the explosion, mirroring precisely what my dark soul scouts had reported,” he remarked, his gaze sharp as he surveyed the surroundings.
Scanning the area intently, Long Tian’s attention was soon drawn to a colossal cliff looming in the distance.
“Gotcha, I have located it!” he exclaimed with a grin, his eyes locked onto the entrance of a cave.
Without hesitation, he dashed towards it, swiftly disappearing into its depths. Upon entering, he was immediately engulfed by a brilliant white light, causing him to instinctively shield his eyes with his hand.
After a few moments, the radiant glow began to dim, and he cautiously reopened his eyes, revealing a vast chamber within the cave. Towering white pillars soared towards the cavernous ceiling, while a monumental staircase with five steps commanded attention at the center.
Long Tian stood frozen, not because of the spectacular sight before him, but because he spotted Alexia kneeling on the ground, clad only in a bra, surrounded by three men.
Instantly, a blaze of rage ignited in his eyes, and his body crackled with lightning as he darted forward like a bolt, appearing right in front of Alexia. His sudden arrival created a shockwave that sent Hou Dian, Ju Yin, and Lu Dan flying backward.
Recognizing the familiar face before her, Alexia, who had previously looked fierce, now wore an expression of disbelief.
“L-long Tian?” she stammered, disbelief evident in her trembling voice.
Seeing Alexia’s condition, especially the bruises on her cheek, Long Tian’s expression softened with sadness and regret. “I’m sorry I couldn’t come sooner, Mrs. Alexia,” he said, his voice tinged with regret, unable to bear seeing someone he considered family in such distress.
Unable to contain her relief, Alexia threw herself into Long Tian’s arms, tears streaming down her cheeks.
Long Tian gently stroked Alexia’s exposed back, suppressing the warm and comforting sensation of holding her. He held her close, allowing his lightning energy to envelop her.
In the blink of an eye, they shot off at lightning speed, arriving hundreds of meters away from the area near the giant staircase.
Releasing his embrace, Long Tian swiftly retrieved one of his white shirts from his spatial ring, extending it towards Alexia.
“Put this on, Mrs. Alexia, and wait for me to kill those bastards!” he exclaimed with fury.
Forcing a smile amidst her tears, Alexia nodded, “Yes,” her response brief yet filled with relief.
Long Tian then turned on his heel and strode back towards the vicinity of the giant staircase. With each step he took, his aura surged powerfully and dominantly, fueled by his seething anger.
The woman reclining on the first giant step couldn’t conceal her intrigued smile. “Oho, unexpectedly, someone has arrived, and it appears they’ve rescued the woman. He he he, things are becoming more interesting,” she remarked, a smile playing on her lips as she shifted to a sitting position.
Ignoring the entity, Long Tian’s fierce gaze locked onto the three men before him.
“So, which one of you harmed her? I’ll ensure your flesh is torn to shreds! Or perhaps I should simply dispatch all of you!” he declared icily, his tone dripping with threat.
Contrary to his menacing demeanor, Hou Dian, Ju Yin, and Lu Dan appeared unperturbed despite feeling the intensity of Long Tian’s aura.
“He he, it seems the situation is becoming more thrilling. Are you her husband? No, you appear quite young. Then you must be her son,” Ju Yin taunted.
Then, a smirk twisted his lips, “I’ll make sure to bed your-” Before he could finish his sentence, Long Tian materialized in front of him, catching him off guard.
However, Ju Yin’s reaction was too slow, allowing Long Tian to effortlessly seize his neck in a vice-like grip, causing his mouth to gape open.
“You talk too much,” Long Tian retorted coldly as he manipulated his dark power, causing dark energy to emanate from his hand like smoke, immediately enveloping Ju Yin’s neck up to his head.
Ju Yin groaned in agony, feeling utterly unable to access his powers!
“Y-you, let… go, of… Me!” he managed to say through labored breaths, attempting to free himself.
But Long Tian’s grip was unyielding, rendering Ju Yin completely immobile.
Observing the situation, Hou Dian decided he had seen enough and swiftly darted forward, delivering a punch that missed but succeeded in forcing Long Tian to release his hold.
“Cough! Cough!” Ju Yin immediately began coughing and clutched his neck, struggling to breathe. His expression was filled with rage as he glared daggers at Long Tian.
“Bastard, I’ll kill you!” he roared, poised to strike, but was promptly restrained by Hou Dian.
“Don’t be hasty, Ju Yin, can’t you see he just choked you? Don’t tell me you underestimated the strength of this young man,” Hou Dian reminded, his tone grave.
Although reluctant to acknowledge it, Ju Yin couldn’t deny Long Tian’s formidable strength, which appeared to match, if not surpass, his own.
While Long Tian remained silent, Hou Dian calmly spoke up. “Your opponents are three people, and each of us is in the Nascent Soul realm. Fighting against us would be suicide, Long Tian.”
Long Tian’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “You know me?” he inquired.
“As the young master of the Long family, it’s only natural that I recognize you. So, do you expect us to surrender now that we know your identity?” Hou Dian asked calmly.
Ju Yin and Lu Dan were taken aback by this revelation, not anticipating that the young man standing before them was Long Zhan’s son. Especially Ju Yin, whose embarrassment diminished slightly upon realizing he had been ‘defeated’ by a descendant of dragons, not just anyone.
Long Tian, however, remained indifferent. “Your knowledge of my identity indicates that you are no ordinary individuals either. I may not know who you are, but eliminating imperial lackeys doesn’t seem like a bad idea,” he said coldly.
While Ju Yin and Lu Dan looked incensed and frustrated by Long Tian’s words, Hou Dian instead wore a smile. “Imperial lackeys, huh? Indeed, your Long family holds significant power, seemingly beyond the reach of the empire’s influence. However, in this scenario, facing three strong opponents, it’s rather funny for you to talk about killing,” he remarked with a smirk. “In fact, this location appears to be the perfect setting for the downfall of the young master of the Long family.”
Long Tian snorted lightly. “Three against one? You’re mistaken,” he retorted.
“It seems you still haven’t grasped your situation, you—” Hou Dian’s words were abruptly halted when he noticed five dark figures emerge beside Long Tian.
“It’s 6 versus 3,” Long Tian stated with a grin.
