Systemless Villain - Chapter 271 It's 6 vs 5, Fool!
More than 30 minutes had elapsed…
In the battleground, a dark-skinned, muscular man soared high into the air, only to be met by a swift leap from the white creature below.
“FUCK!” the burly man’s scream echoed with horror.
But it was too late. The white creature’s leap was so swift that it pierced through his body, shattering it into pieces, his limbs scattered on the ground like discarded toys.
Silence enveloped the atmosphere as the 10 individuals who had previously engaged in battle against Zhou Yan and his allies now lay dead in a grotesque tableau.
A wide grin stretched across Zhou Yan’s face as he surveyed the blood-soaked ground below.
“It’s sheer foolishness to challenge me, thinking mere numbers will grant victory; now you’re paying the price for your folly,” he declared disdainfully, his gaze lingering on the lifeless bodies of his fallen adversaries.
In a world where power reigns supreme, granting forgiveness to adversaries who seek his demise is a naive notion. Thus, resorting to brutal murder is the only logical response. At least, that’s what Zhou Yan believed.
“He he, the creatures summoned by your family are truly formidable, Zhou Yan. It’s as if you command subordinates on par with peak Nascent Soul cultivators,” Fen Yuwen remarked with a smirk, standing by Zhou Yan’s side.
“Indeed, everything has become much simpler now,” Leng Jiao concurred with a nod.
The power wielded by the 10 cultivators undoubtedly averaged in the Nascent Soul realm. However, thanks to the aid of the two summoned creatures, coupled with Zhou Yan’s mastery of gravitational manipulation, the tide of battle had shifted significantly.
Zhou Yan’s smile widened; indeed, those two creatures were incredibly potent. He had clashed with one of them previously, and despite inflicting severe injuries, the creature had continued to fight with a resilience akin to that of an unstoppable force.
“I was just-”
Crack!
Suddenly, a faint explosion reverberated, interrupting his words, prompting him to swiftly turn around. One of the white creatures now bore the marks of an attack, its head missing!
Zhou Yan’s eyes widened in disbelief as he immediately shouted, “We’re under attack, stay alert!”
Fen Yuwen and Leng Jiao snapped into vigilance as well.
Zhou Yan swiftly extended his arms, his gaze sharp and a purple aura radiating from his body. With a swift motion, he rotated his arms, generating a powerful gravitational force that spread from him in a circular area with a radius of more than 5 hectares, causing trees to topple as if swept away by a flood.
Countless trees were uprooted, revealing an open area where he hoped to catch sight of the enemy.
His eyes darted from side to side, scanning for any sign of the attackers. “Fuck, where are those bastards?” he cursed under his breath.
Fen Yuwen and Leng Jiao remained equally vigilant, scanning the surroundings, attempting to discern the mastermind behind the assault on the white creature.
In that moment, thunder rumbled in the sky. Although Fen Yuwen and Leng Jiao failed to notice it, Zhou Yan’s intuition kicked in, causing him to shift his gaze to the sky crackling with yellow lightning.
‘This world doesn’t experience weather,’ he reminded himself.
Realization dawned upon him, and he shouted, “Fuck!”
His loud warning startled Fen Yuwen and Leng Jiao, but it was too late.
BANG!
A massive bolt of lightning struck Fen Yuwen and Leng Jiao, resulting in a deafening explosion.
Dust billowed, momentarily obscuring Zhou Yan’s view, freezing him in disbelief.
Quickly, he moved his hands, channeling gravitational energy to disperse the swirling dust.
As the dust settled, revealing scorched ground with large crack marks, Zhou Yan saw Leng Jiao and Fen Yuwen still standing firm, albeit with another white creature bearing a gaping hole in its body, seemingly shielding them both.
His gaze then shifted to the other side, where a young man of his age and a beautiful woman stood, their bodies crackling with yellow lightning.
Although he didn’t recognize the woman, his eyes widened slightly at the sight of the young man’s face. He remembered seeing him enter the portal; if he wasn’t mistaken, it was Long Tian.
“Bastard, what do you mean by attacking us?!” Zhou Yan bellowed with rage.
“What? Surprised? I’m more surprised by your two white creatures. If you don’t mind, can I order one?” Long Tian requested, a smirk stretch across his face.
Zhou Yan’s expression darkened. “You’ve made a big mistake by coming here. Doesn’t your brain function?” he sneered coldly.
“My brain instinctively told me to attack you. I think that’s the wisest thing I could do,” Long Tian replied casually.
“Then you’re truly digging your own grave!” Zhou Yan said, his tone cruel.
With a gesture of his hand, the two white creatures stood beside him, one without a head and the other with a hole in its body. Both creatures seemed able to fight with full strength.
Long Tian’s expression slightly condensed. He was sure he had attacked both creatures with his full strength, yet they both could still stand as if nothing had happened.
“5 vs 2, didn’t you think before you acted? As the young master of the Long family, I can say you’re truly foolish!” Zhou Yan sneered with demeaning words.
Responding to this, Long Tian grinned. “5 vs 1?” Then from his shadow rose 4 dark souls: Alter, Ju Yin, Lu Dan, and Hou Dian, causing Zhou Yan’s and the others’ expressions to freeze.
“It’s 6 vs 5, fool!” Long Tian declared with a grin.
Zhou Yan’s expression darkened. “Don’t think you can win with that!” he said grimly.
The atmosphere became silent for a moment, but the next moment, the two white creatures immediately darted towards Long Tian and the others, only to be intercepted by the dark souls, especially Hou Dian, who immediately transformed into his awakening form.
While they clashed, Zhou Yan, with a gesture of his hand, released gravitational energy that immediately sent Long Tian flying backward, and he followed suit, making room for the battle between the two geniuses from the top factions.
Not to be left behind, Fen Yuwen and Leng Jiao also darted around Alexia, now trapping her.
By stomping the ground with their hands, they said in unison, “Domain technique: double kill!”
The next moment, they disappeared with Alexia, leaving only Chinese characters floating in the air where they had stood before.
Seeing this scene, Long Tian, who was now clashing with Zhou Yan, raised his eyebrows and said, “Hey, seriously, did they both trap her in a domain?”
“What? Worried about your woman? Pray they don’t do anything vile to her,” Zhou Yan said with a smirk.
“No no, I’m more worried about your two friends. Pray she doesn’t kill them mercilessly,” Long Tian said with a smirk.
The image of Alexia bursting out of the serpent’s belly and laughing still lingered in his mind. That alone depicted how strong he had become after gaining many power upgrades in that mysterious chamber.
Meanwhile, Zhou Yan gritted his teeth and responded by hitting Long Tian’s chest with gravitational energy, sending him flying backward.
Long Tian could easily balance himself. Zhou Yan’s punch didn’t feel as strong after his physical strength had become stronger.
“Come on, don’t be angry like that. Don’t you like to have fun?” Long Tian sneered.
“I will make sure to break all your bones and bury your corpse with my own hands!” Zhou Yan said coldly and ruthlessly.
Long Tian smirked, and they both darted at each other again, the battle becoming inevitable.
