Systems Of Valor - Chapter 3 not Evil
Blankness then changed to a tunnel of lights whirling and spin toward me, like my body I had gone to warp speed, like Star Wars. Looking around was disorienting enough, so I decided to look at my body for a moment to asses it. All I saw was the ghostly white and blue of my soul; I was wearing the same thing I had when I died, long black jeans and a small brown overcoat. ‘This would be kind of cool if I didn’t know I was dead’ A glare of one of my buttons made me glance up at the wormhole-like tunnel.
A white light at the end of the tunnel was getting bigger and bigger, ‘I guess I’m almost there.’ The glow then engulfed me, and all went to black again.
It’s so cold, why is it so cold out here, wait… cold, then I started to feel again, I tried to move my body but couldn’t, a little later my hearing came back, and I heard a massive torrent of sound. It was raining, but yet I didn’t feel the rain on my skin, only the cold air on my skin. A drop of water fell on to my eyelid and then I instinctively wiped it away, wait… “I CAN MOVE!” I stood up and tried to open my eyes, at first they resisted but then light flooded into my eyes illuminating everything around me.
What I saw was a flat piece of metal above my head dripping a dark brown fluid and slightly torn in multiple places. It was attached to a large cylinder to the left of me, getting up of the ground I looked down at the ground to see what I was laying on. A giant grey square of metal with hexagons engraved in a pattern similar to beehives, all around me where massive piles of unknown pieces of metal and… it’s that… a wing? Am I in a junkyard? I looked around for a vantage point, and then looked around in better detail, all around for as far as the eye could see, ships, fires, trees, and lots of smoke. It seems like all of this stuff crashed here instead of placing it here. ‘Not Evil huh… he at least could have put me in a city or something.’
The lack of people would suggest that no one knows about these wreaks and I don’t know how long everything has been here for even though. All this could have been here for years, decades, or even centuries. Even though my life sucked, it didn’t mean I did nothing all the time, Thanks to me and the internet being best friends, I had a good idea of what I needed to do. Now the first thing to do a survival situation would be finding or making a shelter, then food and water. I need a place to live, ideally out of the elements like rain, wind, and so on. Maybe I can find an entire room intact.
Looking around I saw a fallen ship a lot smaller than the other leaned up against a piece of a bigger ship, the area underneath it is relatively clear of debris. An idea passed my mind which I thought might work but it could go wrong in many ways. My plan is if I can get up to the part leaning against the bigger ship that I could push it apart and make it fall over back to a resting position. Even though it stupid and it probably won’t work, I want to try.
(A/N: Our MC is currently 15 years old, I know you he would think to have some common sense but, so people just don’t)
Glancing up at the greenish grey sky, I tried to figure out about how much time had. ‘Four hours, maybe five?’ I lifted my hand to the sun to block its blinding rays when I noticed a white round disc one inch in diameter with a blue round rock in the center. Bringing my hand level with my body, I reached out and tapped it with my finger. The stone instantly glowed with a blue glow which slowly transformed into a four-inch wide, three-inch tall transparent screen. ‘Is this the system they promised me?’ Looking at the screen soon confirmed my assumption.

The screen then changed to two options.

Prefered Mode Of Operation?
(+)Game-based (+)Realistic-based

I choose the game option, I may not want to live in a fantasy world, but its system is so simplistic and easy to use, that I decided it was the best one to use. It loaded for a moment before a robotic female voice spoke. “Hello my destination is Valor, my purpose is to help you to use my software and help you survive your day to day life. Do you want to start the tutorial?”
“Yes please.”
“Okay, kind of like your cheesy Chinese novels, you have a game-based system, thus a status page and as well as an ability to identify objects. Also as you have been born in a world more advanced than your own, you have been gifted with a consensus of common knowledge from around this universe. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask, and I will answer it to the best of my ability. To Open your ‘Status’ say status.
“Status.”

It’s just like a game-based system, even though most of those are sentient, mine seems to not be as unique, from how it sounds, I could probably compare it to a supped up Siri. Although it’s not like I want it to be sentient. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d like it I was messed with and judged every time I opened up the system. Even though this plan is dumb, and could go wrong in many ways, it was worth trying it at least. I’ll go over the system once I right the ship into a resting position. I smiled, time to get me a ship, then I walked off into the path between the piles.
