Tales Of Akhona - Chapter 2 Ezine Warriors Clash
Khusela!
A light shield appeared in front of Gugulethu as it easily withstood the young man’s blow.
The young man quickly retreated, he narrowed his eyes and shot out again.
Mimu Didan Meta!
Three lightning bolts appeared from nowhere as if shot towards Gugulethu from three different directions.
Gugulethu quickly shot two light rays from his palm as it nullified two lightning bolts. He then used his spear to cancel out the last one. The speed with which he did it was fast as he headed towards the young man.
The young man was shocked at Gugulethu’s skills. He didn’t have enough time to wonder on it because Gugulethu was already in front of him. They were locked in a head on battle as two weapons constantly clashed into each other.
They were both quickly running out of energy. Suddenly both of them were sent flying from the impact of their blow.
“He’s too strong.” The young man now had a serious expression on his face. “If I continue like this, I’ll be the first to tire up my energy. I must finish it now.” The young man slowly stood up as he pounced towards Gugulethu who was still on the ground.
Gugulethu managed to get up quickly as he dodged the attack. “I must get him within the range for me to use that technique.” The young man thought as he rushed towards Gugulethu once more. Just as Gugulethu was about to block the attack. The young man shouted.
Imole Didan!
The sky changed as a lightning bolt as big as a adult burly man’s arm shot towards him and the aura it contained seemed to prevent him from moving. He was fixed to the ground. The young man smirked as he felt his plan has worked.
Gugulethu’s face turned grave as the lightning finally hit. As the dust began to settle, the young man had a smile of his face. Although he had used up his energy that even a teenage low rank warrior might kill him, he was happy that his foe was vanquished. Suddenly he’s smile froze.
“What? How? How’s this happening?” The young man was shocked to see that Gugulethu survived. Even though he looked grave, he was still alive! and there was a sapphire coloured energy surrounding him.
“Tamarta?!” The other man that hid in the trees quickly sensed the danger and ran out to save the young man. He was indeed afraid.
Warriors fight with spiritual energy and when one newly climbs a rank. His spiritual energy transforms but due to him climbing newly, his spiritual energy won’t form tamarta. Tamarta was regarded as the true energy of any warrior rank. If one can be able to form it, then it can be said they’ve fully mastered the rank and are close to climbing a higher rank.
When Gugulethu started fighting with the young man, both their spiritual energy was azure coloured showing they were equally matched as they’re both Ezine rank warriors. But immediately Gugulethu developed his tamarta, his spiritual energy was now sapphire coloured which was now way stronger than the young man’s current energy.
As Gugulethu shot out a light ray with his last strength in attempt to kill the young man and escape before he’s energy finally runs out.
A middle aged man appeared before the young man and blocked the attack but it still shock him.
“Thank you, Elder.” The young man who thought he would die finally caught glimpse of hope as he was saved. As he saw that the attack still shock his elder, he became very afraid.
“Young man, give us what we want and we’ll leave the village.” The middle aged man had a serious face. “If this young man drops his guard, I’ll unleash my strength and kill him immediately.” The middle aged man thought to himself.
“Like i said before, you’ll have to kill me first.” Gugulethu held his spear with both hands as black marks spread to his entire body and his face.
Busuku!
Immediately he spoke these words, the marks glowed as he shot out towards the middle aged man.
The middle aged man didn’t dull at all as he activated his spiritual energy. Lime green coloured energy rose from his body and transformed into lightning as it pushed him forward to confront Gugulethu’s attack.
Gugulethu sent out his palm to form a light ray that shot towards the middle aged man. The ray looked different from the one that he used to fight the young man. The middle aged man blocked the attack but he wasn’t looking good as the impact sent him flying backwards.
“Tano rank warrior?” Gugulethu’s expression changed. “I’ve used the busuku energy pass my limit. I’ll need to finish him up before I lose consciousness.”
Izithunzi!
A black symbol appeared in front of his hands like a series of complicated knots. In the middle of it, a black ray of light with an eerie aura shot out towards the middle aged man.
Before the man could react, the shadow ray has already reduced him to dust as well as the young man. They vanished without any trace left.
