Tales Of Mc - Chapter 1

I remember this vividly. Even to this day, I find the events of this day, very surreal.

I don’t remember the exact date. It was sometime in November. It was ten in the morning, and the Sun was high up in the sky when I reached my College. I had an exam that afternoon, and was doing my final revision. I kept on forgetting so many stuff, kept on trying to memorize the notes…. and then it happened. I will forever remember that I said this,

“Oh, I wish I didn’t have to write this exam today”.

Till this day, I find it incredible that, something so mind blowing would occur to me.

My vision blurred and everything faded to black. When it was restored, I was in a pitch black space, which streched on for infinity. I looked around and found two other beings with me. They both were completely white and I couldn’t see their face or features. They both looked around like me, and appeared confused.

My own body appeared the same as theirs, and I was fully white.

Just then a voice sounded.

“What?” (Me + others)

“Let me out!!” (Other guy)

“I wanna go home..” (Other girl)

“Wait. We can’t go home?” (Other 2)

I remained silent and then asked, “what parameters did we satisfy?”

Parameter 1: Disinterested in continuing life in original world. Satisfied.

Parameter 2: Accomplish minimal knowledge of transmigration. Satisfied.

Parameter 3: Moral alignment towards Good. Satisfied.

Parameter 4: Transmigration candidate system selection requirement timeframe. Satisfied.

Two other parameters not satisfied.

Four out of Six Parameters satisfied.>

“Can we return home ever again?” (MC)

The ominous words sounded.

“But, we have families and friends back home.” (others)

Parameter 1 subspecifications: candidates must have High magnitude of Acquaintances:Loved Ones ratio. Satisfied.

Due to satisfaction of Subspecification, candidates enter Ideal Candidate catagory.>

I was quite stunned back then. Wow, so nobody really cared about me whether I lived or died, huh?

I recovered a bit, when I remembered that there was two others with me on the same boat. They were stunned for a longer duration though.

“I understand we’re getting transmigrated. Which world are we going to though? Do we get any special previlages?” I asked, trying to get something good out of the situation.

That’s quite neat, I thought. The others were still quite shocked. I decided to talk to them before going forward with anything.

“Um, Hi…” I spoke towards them. They slowly turned towards me, and remained silent. ” … we’re all going to the same world, so… I think it would be a good idea to at least get to know each other. I’ll go first, I’m Monty, 20 years old, currently in my third year of college.”

They kept looking at me. I couldn’t see their expressions. Finally the girl asked me. “How can you be so calm?”

“That’s..” (MC)

“We’re getting thrown to a different world and you’re acting like this is some everyday occurence to you!” (girl shouts)

I felt something weird going on and then I suddenly realised.

“How can we understand each other? We’re not talking in English!”

The girl stopped and didn’t speak again.

The system’s voice sounded.

A few moments of silence sounded, and then the girl and the guy started shouting a lot, so I covered my ears.
