When I woke up the sun, had just peeked out from the horizon.

“You’re not the old system!” (MC)

<< Yes. Originally, when you would’ve completed the tutorial, the transmigration system would’ve disappeared. From then on, you would only be able to see your status and open your item box with that.

But, I’ve been sent as your new system to help in your everyday life.

She was more human-like than the transmigration system. Then again, I remember the transmigration coughing once, so I cant be sure about it.

I almost collapsed laughing. “No, I was still thinking..” I explained.

She laughed. The A.I laughed. I was quite stunned.

She was too life-like.

I coughed and tried to change the topic, but she kept laughing.

“I’m sorry, Alright! …. Did you have a previous name?” (MC)

She quietened down and stayed silent for a moment.

<< Yes, I had. But, I’ll rather go with the name you want to give me. >>

“Oh, … then how about Indy?”

<< Alright, you can call me Indy. >>

She sounded like a kid, pouting.

<< Oh right. As a Transmigration candidate, you will be provided a world map and an item box. Since, I’m here, both of those have been provided as Expansions of me rather than as items or abilities.

You can access the world map by asking me, and can tell me what to put in your Item Box. The Item Box has infinite storage facility, but cannot store living things. You can store items in a 6ft. radius around you without touching them.

You can give me commands just by thinking them, and can use functions like alarm, G.P.S, etc.

<< This world is twice the size of your old world. It has three major continents and 7 minor islands. The continents are known as The Grey Sky continent, The Sky Wall continent and the Black Lands continent.

You are currently in the Normidan Desert of the Sky Wall continent. The nearest settlement is 950 kilometers away.

The Grey Sky and Sky Wall continents are occupied by Humans, Beastmen, Elves, Dwarves and Demons. Monsters are also present.

The Black Lands continent, is fully occupied by Demons and other races are a minority there.

The value of money is a constant throughout this world.

100 copper = 1 silver

100 silver = 1 gold

100 gold = 1 platinum

<< This world is currently at the standards of middle ages of your old world. Most technology depends on Magic.

Magic is based on Elements like Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Light, Darkness and Space.

Due to existence of monsters, occupations like Monster hunting, Monster breeding are popular. So, the cliche light novel existence called Adventurers Guild exists in this world.

Adventurers are divided into rankings like E,D,C,B,A,A+ and S class adventurers.

“What’s the A+ ranking for?” (MC)

<< Well, until A rank, rank promotion can occur by completing missions. But for A rank and beyond, there is a requirement of individual power. Only individuals who satisfy the guild requirement are promoted to higher ranks.

It is possible to get to A+ ranking by using your influence, but S Rank promotion test is very specific. The requirement is to defeat a special golem, that can only be defeated by S-Rankers.

<< It is the same as your old world. But clocks only exist in the homes of nobles. Commoners have to use the clock at the Merchant guild tower. This is standard for almost all towns. >>

“What do you mean give or take?” I was panicking, this was a like a sure death march, with me probably dying on the way.

<< Well, I haven’t been given permission to scan your ability yet. I was told that, you have a custom made S-class ability. Maybe that can save some travel time. >>

“I doubt it.” I sat down on the sand. The sun fully rose up in the sky. But, just after waking I was told all this travel stuff. Now, I wish I was back in college, waiting for that stupid exam to begin. At least, I wouldn’t die that way.

Indy seemed to sense my mood, but she still asked me for permission to scan [Fortified]. At this point I couldn’t care anymore and gave in..
