Tales Of Mc - Chapter 5
P.S. I’m changing Ability to Skill

<< Did “you” create this skill? >>
“Well, yeah. Who else could’ve done it?” (MC)
<< Are you a genius? >>
What did she mean?
<< This skill, It’s too overpowered.. >>
“It’s not like it’s going to get me outta this desert anyway”(MC)
<< What do you think this skill is anyway? >> Indy’s voice sounded, still with that small amount of shock.
“It’s a skill that’ll help me in battles. Even when I get sneak attacked, the damage will be converted to EXP and MP.” (MC)
<< So you only created this, so that you can fight in battles? >>
“Yeah” (MC)
<< You’re really underestimating this skill. It’s way more useful than you think. >> Now her voice contained a bit of envy.
“What do you mean?” (MC)
<< Even the description says,
All damage Absorption and Conversion to EXP and MP.
Activation: Full-time.
Tell me what do you think damage is? >>
“Huh?” (MC)
<< Think about this case,
Consider that you’re training and you reached your bodys limits. If you keep working out, soon you’ll experience muscle fatigue.
For you, the fatigue will be counted as damage and then it will get converted into your MP and EXP. So, you could keep on going and break your limit without no problems whatsoever.
Hunger, Mental Trauma, Physical Trauma, anything that is considered as damage by your body, they all will be countered by your skill.
Even if it’s self inflicted.
And, the skill is always activated.
take a look at your status. >>

<< See your VIT and DEF?
I just checked.
Your VIT is Infinity, which means you’re never going to get the effects of aging even if your life span is limited. Your Vital Energy is near infinite. Which means you’re going to have a long, long life.
and Your Defence, it’s been lowered to Zero.
With your defence zero, almost every thing will be counted as damage. And with your skill active all the time, you’re going to level up very easily.
I Just scanned your body, and I found that your pain reception has been lowered to almost near zero as well. Which means, you’re not going to feel the pain from the damage taken as well.
You are practically invulnerable now.
And your skill is still is in its level one. When it upgrades to level two, even I can’t predict what kind of potential it can display.
For an skill created so randomly, this is already at the very peak of S-class, and just short of SS-class. >>
Whoa, I had no clue that [Fortify] was this powerfull.
If she is right, (she is), then when I feel hungry, it will be counted as damage, and I can level up using that. She’s right, I’m too overpowered.
<< The system is fair, though. Usually, Heroes will have elemental affinity towards light and other elements. But In your case, you have no affinities. By getting damage, it’ll be split equally to MP and EXP.
And, your skill is most suited for close combat. All that MP is wasted on you. >>
She snickered.
Hmm, She’s right. All that MP will be wasted on me. And since I have no affinities, then I won’t be able to perform magic at all.
“Gah, this is so unfair…” (MC)
<< What part of this is unfair? You have such an overpowered skill and you’re complaining? >> I could imagine her shouting.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…I was just disappointed that I can’t do any magic.” (MC)
<< Anyway, with this you won’t need to feel worried about crossing the desert. With this skill, you won’t need to feel worried about nearly anything at all. >>
