“No, you can’t make that cute face.” Elsa frowned and said when he pouted his lips

How can she say NO to that cute puppy face of his?

“Cal, I can’t leave you if you stay with me. Did you know why I booked tickets for the day after tomorrow?” Elsa asked

When Calvin shook his head, she said “You have an important meeting. I don’t want you to come to the airport with me, I can’t leave if I see your cute face.”

“But —”

“Shhh, I don’t want to argue with me, Cal. You are not coming with me and you can’t miss the meeting too.” Elsa wrapped her hands around his arms and said

“Fine, no one loves me,” Calvin muttered

“Where does that come from?” Elsa chuckled and asked

“You are not allowing me to give you a sendoff. I feel like you don’t need me.” Calvin pouted his lips and said

Elsa helplessly shook her head and said “I am not gonna fall for this tricks Mr Calvin Lewis.

You know how much I need you. You know how much I like you and why do you call it a sendoff? It isn’t like I won’t return.”

“If you like me, why are you not allowing me to come with you?” Calvin asked

“I am not talking about this.” Elsa sighed and said

“Fine, will you miss me?” Calvin asked

Inching closer, she gave a peck on his lips and said “I will miss you a lot, Mr Lewis.”

“I will miss you too but—” making her sit on his lap, he said “I want more kisses.” before clashing their lips together

Next day morning

Calvin’s apartment

“What? Day after tomorrow?” Nick frowned and asked

Elsa nodded her head and said “Yeah, Dad wants me to come as early as possible. So, we —”

“No, you both can’t leave all of the sudden?” Nick snapped

Looking at Ava, he asked, “Didn’t you said you will stay with me for one week before going to San Francisco?”

“Yeah, but uncle Albert is—”

“Tell me that you both are busy with work,” Nick muttered

“That’s not gonna work, Nick. If we won’t go now, he will come here and I won’t get shocked if he asks Elsa to resign.” Ava sighed and said

“No, you can’t resign.” Calvin frowned and said

“I don’t want to but if Nick continues grumping like an old man and stops Ava, I think I can’t stop dad.” Elsa helplessly shook her head and said

“Hey, can’t you stay away from your girlfriend for one week?” Calvin frowned and asked Nick

“Dude, You can’t—” Nick stopped saying when Calvin gestured him to stop

Understanding that his friend is up to something, Nick sighed and said “Fine, you both can leave the day after tomorrow but you have returned after one week.”

“Awww, I love you, honey.” Ava excitedly said before giving a peck on his lips

“I love you too.” Nick smiled and said

Glancing at the watch, Calvin sighed and said “Let’s have breakfast and I will drop you both at your apartment.”

“Yeah.”

Just then Calvin phone started buzzing.

“It’s dad,” Calvin said before answering the call

“Yeah, dad — What?”

“Yeah, I am coming,” Calvin said before hanging the call

“What happen Cal? Is everything okay?” Elsa sighed and asked

“Mom is throwing dad out of the house,” Calvin said

“What? But why?” Nick frowned and asked

“I don’t know. Dad asked me to come.” Calvin said

Martha helplessly shook her head and said “I am sure dad had done something which irked mom.”

“Let’s go and check,” Calvin said and about to step out of the living area when Elsa held his hand

“I will come with you.” Elsa sighed and said

Thinking for a while, Calvin nodded his head and said “Yeah, but stay with me okay. ”

“Babe—”

Cutting Authur off, Mary shouted, “You have no right to call me babe.”

“But, aren’t you my babe?” Arthur pouted his lips and said

“No, I am not.” Mary folded her hands and snapped

“Honey, you are misunderstanding the situation. I just want to —”

Cutting him off, Mary frowned and said “I am not ready to listen to your stupid reasons, Mr Lewis.”

“Babe, if you won’t listen, how can I make you understand the situation?” Arthur helplessly shook his head and said

When Mary didn’t say anything, Arthur sighed and held her hand “Honey, just hear me out.”

“Leave me and get lost.” Mary frowned and snapped

“Mom.” Calvin and Martha called their mother out before stepping into the mansion along with others

“Nick, let’s bring some juice and watch the show.” Noah excitedly said

“Seriously, they are fighting. How can both call it a show?” Elsa frowned and asked

Nick chuckled and said “This happens every time El. Mom and aunt Mary fight with their husbands but they won’t leave them.”

“How are you so sure about it?” Elsa asked

“They love their husbands. Mom and Aunt can’t live with them.” Nick smiled and said

“Mom, what happen?” Calvin sighed and asked

“Why are you asking me? It’s your dad who did a mistake.” Mary scoffed

Turning towards Arthur, Calvin asked, “What did you do dad?”

“Hey, how can you ask me what I did? I never do any mistakes.” Arthur muttered

“Says the man who always do something wrong.” Mary frowned and said

“Shut up, you both can fight as much as you can but at least tell us the reason.” Calvin snapped

“Cal, I didn’t do anything. I just met one person whom your mother hate.” Arthur sighed and said

“Whom did you met dad?” Martha chuckled and said

“Julie.” Arthur pouted his lips and said

He then helplessly shook his head and said “I think mom will probably be shouting at dad.”

“Of course, she will. Which woman will be quiet if her husband meet his ex-girlfriend without informing?” Mary frowned and said

“Joe doesn’t know about Julie. So, he won’t meet her.” Arthur sighed and said

“Oh, so only you knew about her?” Mary asked
