“Oh, so only you knew about her?’ Mary asked

” Yeah—” Arthur stopped saying when Mary glared at him.

How can he say only he knew about Juile when his wife is angry with him?

” I mean, she called me—”

“She called you and you left for her.” Mary frowned and said

“No honey, I just want to drop her to her office.” Arthur sighed and said

“Is she a two-year-old kid who doesn’t know how to reach the office? Can’t she go on her way? Can’t she book a cab?” Mary asked

“Honey, she is new here. She doesn’t know where —”

“She is a working woman. Don’t you think she is big enough enquiry about an unknown place?” Mary asked

When Arthur didn’t say anything, Mary helplessly shook her head and said “I am a fool enough to believe you.”

“Arthur, if you still have feelings for her, I don’t mind if you give me a divorce.” Mary snapped

and about to walk away when Arthur held her hand

“Mary, Are you mad? What are you blurting out?” Arthur frowned and asked

“Do you think I have feelings for her?”

Pausing for a while, he made her sit on the couch and said “Honey, I used to have feelings for her back in college days but now, it’s all about you. It’s all about our family.”

“You know, when you entered my life, I felt so lucky to have an amazing woman like you in my life. I felt like, I have everything in my life. You are seriously the most wonderful woman honey.” Arthur smiled and said

“Julie is my friend. Yeah, I loved her in past but not anymore. She is suffering from a fever since yesterday, So she asked me to help her and out of friendly concern, I helped her out.” Arthur sighed and confessed

“Babe, I can leave anything for you but I can’t leave you for something not so important.” Arthur kissed her forehead and said

“Awww, you are the best.” Elsa smiled and said

“Hey, I am the best.” Calvin frowned and said

“No, uncle is best.” Elsa smiled and said

“I never expected this from you dad.” Martha chuckled and said

“I am sorry honey.” Arthur smiled and said

“I am sorry too. I shouldn’t have yelled at you.” Mary hugged him and said

“It’s okay babe. You have all rights to kick me but don’t leave me okay.” Arthur pouted his lips and said

“Never gonna leave you, darling.” Mary smiled and said

Ava helplessly shook her head and said “I never expected uncle Arthur can speak chess words too.”

“Your Aunt made me speak.” Arthur chuckled and said

“I am so sorry, you all rushed here because of me.” Mary sighed and said

“No biggies Aunt.” Ava smiled and said

“Let me bring some refreshments for you all,” Mary said and rushed towards the kitchen

“El, let’s sit there,” Martha said and walked towards the other side of living Area

“Dad, where did you learn those cheesy lines?” Calvin frowned and asked

“It’s my own lines son.” Arthur grinned and said

“I want to learn them too,” Calvin said

“What? You and chessy words. They won’t suit you, dude.” Noah chuckled and said

“Hey, I want to propose El after her return from San Francisco. I have to use some cheesy lines to make her fall for me.” Calvin frowned and

said

“It should come on your own. You can’t learn cheesiness by reading books or seeing movies.” Arthur sighed and said before walking away

Elsa’s place

“Stella, where are you?” Albert shouted when he entered the home

“Ahh, Albert, why are you shouting?” Stella frowned and asked

“I have good news for you, honey. Albert excitedly said

” First tell me the news and I will confirm the news is good or bad. ” Stella sighed and said

Albert helplessly shook his head and said” Elsa messaged me. She is coming a day after tomorrow.”

“What? Is it for a real? Our Elsa is coming home.” Stella jumped in excitement

“Yes honey, you bake her favourite cookies and I will inform Kyle that—”

“Why will you inform Kyle about Elsa?” Stella frowned and asked

“Babe, didn’t we decided to arrange a date for Elsa and Kyle?” Albert frowned and asked

“You only decided it, Albert. Don’t involve me in this.” Stella said

Honey, she is our daughter. Don’t you want her to lead a happy and peaceful life? ” Albert asked

Stella sighed and said “Albert, I don’t want to argue about this matter. I feel like you should talk to Elsa before taking a step further. It’s her life, she has to decide everything.”

“But honey—”

“Let Elsa come and talk,” Stella said and walked towards the kitchen

“No matter what happens, I don’t let anyone ruin my daughter’s life.” Albert sighed and thought.

“Ahh, my poor heart is aching.” Mr Smith placed his hand on his chest and said

Elsa helplessly shook her head and said “I can’t do anything, Mr Smith. I have to go to San Francisco.”

“But, why one week? Don’t you think it is too much?” Mr Smith asked

“No, one week is very little. I have lots to share with mom and dad, if I get one more week leave, I will be most happiest person.” Elsa smiled and said

“You can’t do that El. You can’t take so many leaves. We will miss you a lot.” Mr Smith sighed and said

“I will miss you all too but this leave is important.” Elsa smiled and said

“You joined just one month back. You already left us for one week due to office work, now you are leaving us alone again. Don’t you think this is unfair?” Mr Smith asked

When Elsa helplessly shook her head, Mr Smith smiled and said “El, why don’t we go out and have dinner tonight?”

“I—” Elsa stopped saying when someone opened the door.

“Cal—” Before Elsa could say anything, he walked towards Mr Smith and asked, “What are you doing here?”
