With the last hit, a scream joined the surrounding noise. Finally waking up within the white void a couple of questions came to my mind.
What’s the noise?
[Activating: Exterior Cameras]
[Exterior Cameras: Activated]
Suddenly 8 screens appeared in front of me showing me a short human man screaming as a steel sword had embedded itself into his forearm. In the distance were another two humans with a bow and a staff in hand.
That’s strange? What are they doing out there? Before the questions even reached my lips, answers appeared before me.
[Awnsering Query – Attempting to Damage Hull – Success Chance 0.001% chance]
Looking around for the blue sphere of data that was with me before the fusion, I realized he wasn’t here. Chronos, Where did you go.
[Awnsering Query – Fusion Success – PM has combined with AI]
Then What are we?
[Awnsering Query – Mechanicus: settlement_vessel]

[Deploying: Repelling Fire]
What? Chronos what are you doing. Through the screens, I watched as the human carrying the staff raised it up as a red ball of energy was formed above their palm and was promptly shot dawn as machine guns fired. Soon after the bow and sword-wielding, humans fell as well.
Wait. Humans why am I thinking of them like that. I’m also a human, aren’t I. I can’t really remember, well anything.
Chronos, am I human.
[Awnsering Query – Identification – Mechanicus: settlement_vessel]
Was I ever human?
[Awnsering Query – No]
I need to stop thinking about this before I hurt myself. If I’m a settlement vessel than that means I was sent here to settle the place around me. Chronos. S-show me the diagnostics, please.

Well, that’s basically useless, Chrono what would you suggest we do from here. My best guess is that we start collecting materials for a settlement.

Only a couple miles south from Samuel a young boy in dark clothes was running as fast as he could. Though fast, his steps were sloppy and unbalanced as the terrifying experience raced through his head. Only a couple of feet from where he was hiding Alex, Jamie, and Alice were killed. Instantly and without mercy that Golem had struck out without any mercy.
Despite being a relatively high-level rogue in the Guild he had never seen anything like what had just happened.
I need to get back and warn the others If that monster starts to move entire villages could be wiped off the map.
Thus begins the tale of Samuel the Machine God.
