Finally leaving the house for work both of them had silly smiles on their faces enough to scare their employees.

But Mei Ling’s joy was short lived when she got to her office and saw him.

Seating with a smirk on her seat he stared at her, she looked even prettier in person! Meanwhile dread filled Mei Ling’s face when she saw him, her bag slipped and soon her hands standing shaking, she thought she was going to be alright or strong but she was wrong.

Her heart started beating rapidly and if she was not careful she’d have a panic attack.

He smiled at her and got up from the chair walking towards her, the first thing she thought if was to bolt out the door but then his voice rang out and she felt something crawl on her skin.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you” he mused and she swallowed trying to calm her beating heart.

“Why are you here? What do you want? ” She asked finally summoning courage to face him, he didn’t have to know she was scared of him.

“After three years this is how you greet me! Fine I missed you so much” he replied as his smirk grew wide, that fearful look on her face, he loved how she was quick to mask it, she was going to be his and nothing could stop him.

Who the hell did that fool think he was?

“You know the nerve of you to come into my office after what you and your mother did really shocks me! Beware Li jie your freedom is going to be short lived, that’s a promise!”

Mei Ling was shocked when he let out a loud laugh, it’s not that she thought it would work infact she was very bad at delivering threats but him laughing was what shocked her.

He walked round her while sizing her up, then he stood behind her wrapping his hands round her waist instinctively Mei Ling took in a deep breath.

“You know what I like about you? Making threats when you’re just another coward it really really turns me on when I see you trying to be strong” he said biting her ear and then moving his hand below her skirt immediately Mei Ling hit him on his crouch before landing a slap on both his cheeks.

This elicited a maniacal chuckle from him as he stared at her before grabbing her neck and choking her.

Mei Ling was struggling to breathe as he pressed down hard on her throat, her eyes were filled with tears as she struggled for breathe.

“I don’t tolerate disrespect and you should be thankful I like you else you’d be dead, don’t think because you’re in the mafia I won’t do a thing I can and I will, so behave understand?” She nodded as she kept tapping before he let her go and and kissed her.

“You shouldn’t really be pissing me off now would you do it again?” She didn’t reply as she sobbed her chest heaving up and down in an attempt to get air, her makeup was ruined and her eyes were swollen leaving her tanned face slightly red.

“Would you do it again?” He tightened his grip on her waist and she shook her head vigorously making him smile, his tongue darted out tasting her tears before chuckling.

“You’re going to move out of Lee Ai Bao’s house!” He stated before letting her go and walking out, secretary Go was shocked when she saw the man walk out of her bosses office she didn’t remember letting anyone in.

She ran to Mei Ling’s office only to see her crying and struggling to breathe, Mei Ling’s heart kept beating rapidly as it became too difficult for her to breathe .

“Ms Mei, Ms Mei!” The secretary called out running towards her , Mei Ling tried to stand up as she struggled to breathe her vision was getting blurry and she didn’t know what to do, inhaling deeply the next thing that welcomed her was total darkness.
