Tell Me Again My Love - Chapter 571
Ryn scratched her arm absentmindedly as she listened to Jeremy being so excited. She did not understand why he was being so happy. It was just a practical training for her. She needed it to graduate.
“It’s getting late. You should go to sleep now. I will come tomorrow with breakfast,” he said once he realized how much her time he wasted during his ‘celebration’.
“Hmm… good night, J. Sweet dream,” she murmured.
“Good night. Dream of me, love,” he could not waste any chance to say those words. He wanted her to think of him all the tine. “I love you.”
“Bye.” She still could not repeat those three words. Her fragile heart did not allow her to utter those words.
She looked around and found there was nothing more she could do. She recharged back her phone and lied down on the bed. In just seconds, she fell asleep.
The next day…
She woke up right before he called her. She was just rubbing her eyes sleepily when her phone rang. She took it and saw his name, sighing to herself. Just right on time. She wondered silently what time he went to sleep and whether he had enough sleep. He never failed to call her despite how busy he was and when she called him back, no matter what time it was, he did not mind to spend several hours just to chat with her.
“Good morning, love. Have you awakened?” He greeted cheerfully. It did not seem that he just woke up. Instead, she felt like he called her right after he took a shower and put on a pair of clean clothes. She could even picture how handsome he looked in a three piece and a tie. Sigh.
“Hmm… morning. I just woke up. Are you still at home?” She asked as she sat up with her feet rested on the floor. Pitter patter her feet made sounds as she went to draw the curtain. She winced when the sun light hit her face and almost blinded her eyes.
“I’m almost at your home with your breakfast. You should wash your face while waiting for me,” he said. He was actually driving the car on the way to her house. On the seat beside him was two three-tiered food containers that the Cook prepared for them. She learned that he was going to bring breakfast and have it with Ryn and decided the food she prepared was more delicious and more nutricious from the food sold outside. Hence, when Jeremy was about to leave, the maid under the Cook’s wing handed the food containers to him with the Cook warning to finish everything and do not ever dare to buy food outside to eat with Miss Catherine when she could cook delicious food for her.
With the food already prepared, he no longer needed to stop at any stall or restaurant to buy them breakfast.
It took him no time to arrive. He stopped the car just right outside the gate of her house and waited until Ryn opened the gate for him to drive the car into the entryway.
“You’ve taken a shower?” He asked, holding the containers. He did not bother to lock the car.
“Hmm…” she nodded and lifted her face unconsciously while he lowered his head to share a light kiss.
“Our breakfast. The Cook made it,” he showed the containers with a wry smile.
“The green is yours,” she mumbled and turned around to walk to the kitchen.
“Of course,” he replied with a grin. The Cook shared the belief with his grandmother and mother that it was their job to help Ryn to right her bad habit of not eating vegetables.
He watched her pouring the content from the containers into clean bowls and plates. While she made drink for them, he carried the food to the dining table. He even helped her carrying the pot of coffee and the mugs while she carried the utensils for them.
They started to eat their breakfast once everything was arranged accordingly on the table. He even took some of the side dishes into her bowl, making sure all the thicker meat go to her. He, as he promised earlier, put all the greens closer to him to make it easier for him to finish them.
“Tell the Cook thank you. It’s delicious,” she told him as they enjoyed their hot coffee after the breakfast.
“I’ve told her before I left,” he explained. He lifted the mug and sipped the hot drink slowly. His body warmed once the liquid entering his body. When it reached his stomach, he felt better and better.
She looked at the black liquid as her finger kept running around the lip of the mug. She lifted the mug again and sipped it slowly.
He reached out his long arm and rubbed her nape gently. “You’re still exhausted?”
“Jetlag maybe,” her head lolled as she enjoyed his massage. He even rubbed and kneaded her back, making the aches she felt since last night disappeared.
“Go lie on the bed. I’ll massage your back,” he ordered. He could not massage her properly while they were sitting on the chair.
“But you need to go to work,” she tried to decline but his warm fingers really made the objection quite weak. She did not want to disturb his work but her aches body demanded her to accept his talented hands. She needed the relieved.
“Come,” he pulled her to her feet and toward the bedroom. Then, he helped her to lie down on her stomach on the bed. He did not straight away massage her back. Instead, he took off his coat and hang it over the sofa head. He also adjusted the temperature of the room to his like.
“Why haven’t you started yet? Are you pranking me?” She asked. She rested her chin on top of her folded hands. She felt weird when he still did not start his massage when she was already ready.
