The Adventures Of Kagami - Chapter 6 fortune And Luck Store

When Atsuko left. Gin took me inside to show me the other rooms of ‘Liber’. In total the store has 5 rooms; 2 normal rooms in the first floor and 3 huge underground rooms. All of them contain books and wood puppets! Yes! Wood puppets they are like robots! The 2 normal rooms have 50 wood poppets which copy books, as for the 3 underground rooms Gin told me that it contains his master books collection and there are more than 400 puppets inside. Their function is to provide any book that a person wants based on the information he provides. After that we moved to the first underground room and we stopped in front of a huge wood poppet, giving me a white stone Gin said.

“This here we call it a mother puppet or the main head it has a brain of its own. It contains all the information of the books here and it controls all the puppets in the store. So, if you want to search for a book you have to put this stone in it right hand and then say the information, the theme or even the category that you want to search for! After 30 minutes the wood puppets insides will search and provides you with all the books that contain the desired data! Don’t ask how this works because I don’t know! My master said that he bought this mechanism from another clan!”

“Gin! Can you copy these two books for me?”

“Ok! It will take 30 minutes for the book! “Chaos World History”, “The Fourth Holy War” don’t tell me you want to go to the chaos world!”

‘Fortune and Luck’ was a store that sells used items, well on earth we will probably call them magic items but here they are normal items like spatial ring, swords, armor and others things.

“What are you interested in?”

“Ok! I don’t mind! But if I find any objects in the spatial item they are mine right?” I said.

“Of course! They are.”

Well I have 144 PG, I will buy 9 items for now! Giving old man Auden 27 PG, he leads us to a room at the back of the store where there was 2 big boxes.

“These boxes are filled with spatial items from all kind and shapes! Go and choose 9 items!”

I looked at Atsuko trying to speak but she stops me saying.

“This is your money! Go and choose whatever you want! As for me I have a spatial ring I don’t really use it since I don’t travel! Hhhh! Even if all the items you choose are broken I won’t be angry! Like old man said it is all about luck! Hhhh!”

Well since she said that I walked to the first box it was filled with rings! Well my strategy was simple, I will choose any item based on my senses! For the first box I started digging and searching. Looking at every ring, in the end I selected 3 rings with a simple design; one was silver while the other two were black. The three of them got some weird symbols which I didn’t understand. For the second box it contains small chests I picked 4. The first two were from wood with weird characters on them, the third one was a black box and the fourth was a red box, but before leaving I notice a third box where there was many items like shields, swords, stones and others stuffs with the majority of them were broken. Looking at old man Auden I asked.

“Uncle! What are these items?”

“Well in that box I put items that I don’t know their function yet!”

“Is it the same price as the spatial items?”

“Mmm. Well of course no! They are trash to me until I know what they are! You can choose four items from there! But don’t come to me crying if they are fake items!”

“Ok! Uncle!”

Digging in the box I picked a small white silver fish earrings.

“That can be a fake item you know! Don’t let their appearance deceive you!”

“Thank you for your concern uncle! But I like them!”

Then I picked a broken stone sword and a wooden box that gave me a strange feeling when I touch it.

“This is it uncle thank you for your time!”

“Hhhh! I hope one of these items can be working! Since your mother spatial ring is not with her. I will send them to your house!”

I don’t know why but I feel that he is interested in the items that I picked from the third box, but since my mother here he don’t want to make a scene about it!
