The Adventures Of Kagami - Chapter 7 Chaos World

Finally I am home! Putting the books on the table, I told my mother to put the items on the floor beside my bed. After having dinner. I sat on the ground across from her while the items are in front of me!

“Mom! How can I know if one of these items is usable or not?”

“Well put a drop of your blood on the item, if it is usable there will be some kind of a reaction if it is fake nothing will happens and if it is broken it will turn into ashes”

“Ok!”

The next moment I made a thin cut on my index finger and I dropped a drop of my blood on the silver ring. Suddenly it is start shining before turning into ashes! Bad luck I guess! Well next item. Doing the same thing for the two other rings they also turn into ashes! Fuck! Grapping the other four boxes, all four of them turned into ashes! In the other side Atsuko was laughing nonstop!

“Mooooom!”

“Yes! Sweetheart! Hhhh!”

“Is there a way for him to know that the items are usable or broken?”

“Yes! There is! Hhhh! Don’t tell me you didn’t know! Hhhh! My poor child!”

“!”

I was deceived, stupid old man!

“My genius child is a child in the end! There is a reason why nobody is buying things from him! Hhhh! This is will be a lesson for you to think more before buying anything!”

Well she got a point, I didn’t think about it but I didn’t see any person enters his store even though he is right in front of ‘Liber’! How stupid I am to be deceived this easily! The next moment my mother stood up.

“I forgot I promised Mia and Jenna to help them rearranging the restaurant! Want to come with me Kagami?”

“No, I want to check the other items.”

“Ok, Hhhh! Don’t think about it a lot. Everybody can make a mistake. Hhhh! I need to go now! I will be back in an hour or two!”

After kissing me she left. Well now it is time to inspect the other items! Dropping a drop of blood on the earrings they started to shine in white! After a couple of minutes the fish earrings turned into a pearl drop earrings! The pearls were white and small, holding them into my arms I can see a small creatures inside the pearl it looks like an eel! Suddenly, they start shining again before flying in the air and settle on my earlobe! I tried to remove them but it is like they become one with my ear. Anyway! How can I use this?

Let is move to the next item for now! Grabbing the broken stone sword I dropped a drop of my blood on it Waiting Well nothing happened. Is it a fake item?

Looking at the wooden box, a strange feeling started to manifest inside my heart! I start sweeting! The more I look at it the more stressed I become! Should I hide it or get rid of it?

After thinking for a while No! Fuck it! Grapping the box I dropped some of my blood on it unexpectedly it didn’t shine but some kind of black vapor started to go out of the box before it opens! Inside there was a piece of paper with something written on it. Piking the paper the weird feeling in my heart grow bigger. So I read it!

“There is no difference between hate, love, pain, sadness and happiness. All mortals feeling shall disappear, grab this knife of mine and make the screams of pain dismember the wind, I don’t know when and where you will start or stop? I don’t know if you will use it for good or for bad? But the art of killing shall manifest itself and with your hand blood shall flow in the earth like water!

Ethan 400”

What is this? What knife? Looking in the box again I noticed another box inside! What? Where did it come from? Opening the box I found a knife! A long clip black knife! With the world Ethan 400 graved on it guard! Holding it I felt my heart turning cold! What is this Weird feeling? Now I need to search for information about this knife and the earrings I hope I can find something. Putting the knife on the table I picked the broken stone sword and put it in the wood box and placed under my bed before I start reading the 2 books that I copied.

At noon, when Atsuko come back she liked the earrings but she didn’t see the eel that I saw in the pearls! I guess I am the only one who can see them.

-‘Liber’-

The next day at ‘Liber’ I went to the underground rooms to search for books.

“I want you to provide me with every book that has the world Ethan, White fish earrings, white pearl drop earrings, Ethan Knife or eel pearl drop earrings!”

30 minutes later a puppet comes to me holding a book.

“Only one book has the word Ethan and Ethan Knife was found! The other words were not found in any book!”

Well picking the book I gave it to Gin to copy it for me. I will read I finish reading the “Chaos Word History” and the “Fourth Holy War”.

3 months has passed, I still have 2 months before the portal opens. Well nothing important happened in these 3 months besides doing my stamina exercise which is running around the house like a crazy child and working with Gin, I finally finished the reading of the two books.

So, according to the “Chaos World History” the chaos world is a world that has no Sun or moon. It has a star called Cruento, it radiate a red light. Also there is no color besides the red color in the chaos world everything is in red! Trees, water even rocks! The inhabitants of the chaos word are The Morbus. They are creatures that has the body of human, the legs of a goat and the head of a bull. They are 10 meters tall. They exist only for one reason, spreading chaos! To realize their goal they created the prophet of chaos, a being that have the ability to break the spatiotemporal laws and create a portal that can connect any world to the chaos world and through it the Morbus moved from a word to another spreading chaos and collecting treasures!

But 8784 years ago and according to the “Fourth Holy War” book, the prophet of chaos one day entered the holy land of angels and demons clans creating a portal which helped the Morbus to go in there. Soon a war against the Morbus started lasting more than 200 years and resulted in the annihilation of the chaos beings. The immortal clans didn’t stop there but they also moved to the chaos world where they annihilate every living thing even the smallest creatures! Turning it into a desert with rocks and sand.

The good news is that the angels and demons clans didn’t take the treasures that the Morbus collected and also they didn’t kill the prophet of chaos but they restrain it is power so that he can’t leave this world. In the end it starts traveling around opening a portal every 4 years. All this so that they attract the mortals to go in to search for treasures and to alert them if any type of creatures was spotted in the chaos world!

Thinking about it I guess the reason behind this is that the war against the Morbus wasn’t easy even though the losses of the demons and angels clans weren’t mentioned but they are probably afraid that Morbus will return again on day.

The names of the authors weren’t cited, but it was written that they were from the demons clans and the book was translated to the human language.

So, to conclude they are using us as an alarm clock, if any creature was seen they will go in again making sure that life will never come back to the chaos world!

Well for now I will start reading the other Book “The Art Of Killing”, I am really curious to know the origin of this knife and the meaning of Ethan 400!
