“This is destiny.” Rere smiled happily, playing her finger on Dino’s face.

“Soulmates, fortune, and death are three things that can never be guessed. Humans can’t do anything about those too. We can only plan, but God is the one who decides it. I can say that we are the perfect example. I didn’t expect that we were connected through Bara and Dila. I was also shocked and surprised to have a child with you. When you left my apartment. Rere covered her face because Dino discussed the incident of their one night stand.

“Why did you cover your face?” Dino took Rere’s hand that covered her face.

“You are still young.” Dino hugged Rere’s waist. The girl did not refuse, therefore Dino became bolder. He put his hand in Rere’s shirt and stroked his wife’s waist.

“Dino,” Rere warned Dino. She knew it was his right as her husband, but she wasn’t ready.

“Why?”

“Please wait.”

“I need to be pampered,” said Dino sulkily. He purposely annoys Rere.

“The wound is in your head and not on your hand. It can’t be cured by touching me.”

“The wife’s body is an addiction to the husband. Can we….?”

“Not yet. If I’m ready to make love with you, I’ll let you know later.”

Dino scowled in disappointment. He thought that Rere would be tempted by his seduction, but he was wrong! Rere is firm in her stance.

“You don’t have to pout like that.”

“I want to make love to you,” replied Dino, pretending to sulk.

“Be patient.” Rere avoided Dino’s kiss when the man was about to kiss her lips.

“Stingy.”

“Let’s sleep. Tomorrow you have to remove the stitches on your head, right?”

“Can I sleep while holding you?”

“Of course you can.”

“Yesss.” Dino cheered happily.

In the morning, Rere got up to make breakfast for Dino. Rere was in the kitchen cooking spicy fried rice.

Her cell phone rings showing that there is a video call from Tia.

“Hi, Tia. How are you?” Rere greeted Tia happily.

Tia was surprised because Rere was very cheerful and smiled happily. It was rare to see Rere that happy. Tia notices that there was something different about Rere.

“Your hair is wet?” Tia is in shock with a gaping mouth.

“I just wash my hair. What’s wrong with that?”

“Are you having sex with Mr.Dino?”

“What are you saying? So wet hair is a sign of making love?’ Rere looks embarrassed. She put her cellphone in the cell phone holder so she could still cook while video calling with Tia.

“it might be,” Tia looks curious. ” What are you cooking?”

” I am making spicy fried rice.”

“For whom?”

“Of course it is for Dino and me.”

“His name sounds so sweet in your mouth now.” Tia teases again. “You’ve become so sweet and I was surprised since it looks like you’ve opened your heart to your husband? Am I speaking the truth?”

“So, how should I call him?”

“Never mind. You haven’t answered my question, Re.”

“I’m too tired to answer it. It’s up to you whether you want to believe it or not.” Rere didn’t care about Tia’s response. She was busy stirring the fried rice in the pan. The rice is well mixed with the seasoning. Rere took a spoon and tasted it, whether the seasoning was right or not.

“It is so rare that you are very passionate about cooking. What happened?”

“There’s nothing. I just want to cook. Who is going to cook if not me? The house assistant is given leave by my in-laws.”

“Are you alone with Mr.Dino?”

“That is right. My mother-in-law said that she has a meeting out of town. Mother in law has to represents Dino since he was sick.”

“How’s your man doing?”

“He is fine. I’m going to the doctor today to see the wound. If it’s safe, they can remove the bandage.”

“How long will you be there?”

“Until Dino recovers.”

“What about the kids?”

“Your boss and his wife can take care of our children.”

“Our children? Did you mean Hanin?”

“Did I say something wrong?”

“No, but don’t you say that you can’t accept Hanin? Now you’ve called her our children. That was sweet….”

“Sweet my foot! Relax, sometimes you are overreacting.”

“Am I?”

“Where did you sleep last night?” Tia is getting curious about Dino and Rere’s relationship.

“Did you really want to know? Are you curious?” Rere stuck out her tongue in front of the camera. She scooped the rice into the plate and put it on the dining table. Tia could clearly see what Rere was doing.

“She has changed.” Tia mumbles. “I’ve never seen Rere this happy. There must be something that makes her mood better.”

“Aren’t you going to work?” Rere looked back at the camera.

“In a minute. I’m waiting for Daniel to pick me up.”

“It’s good to be in the same office as your future husband.” Rere sneered.

“Of course. That’s why you should have worked with Mr. Dino.”

“No, thanks.”

“Manage your own company.  Mr. Bara has been taking care of it and that makes his job busier. He has other companies to manage.”

“Shut up. Bara was okay with that.”

“What do you mean by okay? Stop talking nonsense. You better hurry and take care of your own company.” Tia is serious.

“Why? Is there something you haven’t told me yet?”

“Your uncle, your father’s brother, asks for his rights in the company. He was furious because it was Mr.Bara who took over all the companies. He said that Mr. Bara is unsuitable because he is only an outsider.”

“Did Uncle Lutfi really say that? Why have I never heard about it?”

“How dare he speak about that with you. He was afraid that he would be kicked out of the company. Mr. Bara’s presence in your company creates a bad atmosphere. Some are jealous of your stepbrother. Mr. Lutfi feels more entitled to lead the company than Mr. Bara. Mr. Bara is busier taking care of your company than his own company. Miss. Dian took over Mr. Bara’s company. You need to go back to work and learn to lead the company from Mr. Bara. If you’re good at it, the boss will let you lead your own company.”

“I’ll think about it later, Tia. I honestly don’t want to work in the company yet.”

“You need to make the decision sooner, Re. Before the conflict between Mr. Bara and Mr. Lutfi broke out. Do you know what Mr. Bara does when he is angry, right?”

“Yeah, I know,” Rere said quickly.

“Hi, dear.”  Dino with his short pants greeted, hugging Rere from behind. He hugged her waist tightly then kissed Rere’s cheek.

Tia gawked as she couldn’t believe what she saw. It feels like a dream that Rere is not angry when Dino hugs and even kisses her.

“Dino,” Rere whispered in surprise as she immediately turned off the camera.

“Damn, she turned it off.” Tia pouted her lips.

“Why are you surprised?” Dino held both of Rere’s hands.

“I’m on a video call with Tia. She will know if we….”

“What’s wrong if she knows that we have made up. You have accepted our marriage. What’s the problem?”

“I’m embarrassed. Surely, she will tease me and this will reach Bara’s ears.”

Dino burst out laughing as he caressed and pinched Rere’s cheek excitedly.

“What are you cooking, dear?”

“I make spicy fried rice.” Rere proudly shows off her dishes.

Dino smelled the fried rice that made him hungry. It must be delicious.

“Let’s eat.” Dino invited Rere to sit next to him. The man scooped the rice and put it in his mouth. “Wow, that’s delicious.”

“Is it good?” Rere was relieved that Dino liked her cooking.

Dino ate the spicy fried rice deliciously. He finished the food and drank the hot tea.

“Why is it bland, Re?”

“Really?”

“Just try it.” Dino gave his glass to Rere.

Rere drank Dino’s tea. It is not bland, sweet, but not too sweet.

“It is not. It is sweet.”

“Let me try,” Dino took the glass from Rere’s hand and drank his tea again.

“After being touched by your lips, the taste of this tea becomes sweet.”

“You are getting smarter at seducing now.” Ree couldn’t help but laugh.

“I am serious, dear, but it’s true. The bitter food will taste sweet just by looking at you.”

Rere shook her head at Dino’s statement.
