The Amazing Process For Marrying You - Chapter 115
Dino and Rere went down to breakfast with their two children. The family welcomed them with open arms. Bara and Dila couldn’t hide their happiness when they saw Rere and Dino holding hands. The dining room was suddenly felt packed since Shaka, Shakel, Salsa, Hanin, and Leon were excited about their food.
“Our house is more hectic than usual.” Ainil smiled happily at Herman.
“Our grandchildren are all gathered.” Herman is grateful that in his old age he can gather with his wife, children, son and daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
“Shaka, Shakel stop fighting,” Dila warned her two sons for fighting over food. Shaka and Shakel never got along. They always fight over toys and food.
“Akel started it,” Shaka didn’t want to get the blame.
“Akha started.” Shakel defended himself.
“You guys are always fighting. How many times did I remind you not to fight,” Bara was strict with his two sons.
“Dad, help us.” Shaka and Shakel turned to Dino.
“Akel, Akha, you are brothers, twins, don’t fight all the time. Remember that food is delicious only up to the throat. It will become dirt after that. It is useless If the toy is broken. Remember, your brotherhood must be above all. You shouldn’t fight over a trivial matter.”
“Okay, dad.”
“Let’s eat. Remember what I said.” Dino looked at Shaka and Shakel.
Shaka shared the pastry with Shakel. Both of them liked the pastry and fought over the last one. Dino always teaches Shaka and Shakel to share. The whole family was amazed and fascinated by the way Dino raised the twins. Dino also teaches them to always give in to Salsa, the youngest one. She was apart one hour to Shakel. Shaka and Shakel were only different by fifteen minutes.
“Wow. They listen to you.” Rere praised her husband.
“Where have you been all this time, Re?” Bara even sneered at Rere.
“Dino,” Rere looked at her husband in a pampered manner.
“It doesn’t suit you, Re. Remember that you already have children.” Bara teased Rere again.
“Don’t be jealous.” Rere was annoyed and pinched Bara’s arm.
“Re, Bara, stop it. Both of you are like cats and dogs.”
Dila just shook her head slowly seeing the behavior of Rere and her husband. Everyone then continues their meal.
Bara then invites Herman, Ainil, Dino, Rere, and Dila to gather in his office.
“What do you want to talk about, Bar?” Ainil was curious about the topic that Bara would discuss. The atmosphere in the library was a little tense.
“Okay, since we’ve all gathered here. I’ll just get to the point.” Bara looked at her family members in turn. He saw the tension on Ainil and Rere’s faces.
“You can start, bar,” Ainil’s hands trembled. She held Herman’s hand tightly.
“Yesterday, Uncle Lutfi held a GMS. He wants to depose me as the temporary CEO in place of Rere.”
“That shameless bastards,” Ainil got angry and cursed his brother-in-law.
“Calm down.” Herman calmed his wife.
“Uncle Lutfi is not happy because I am managing the entire company. I will give him this position if he doesn’t have bad intentions.”
“Since Rere’s father died, he tried to take the company. We were fooled. If I didn’t marry your father, we might live on the streets now. Lutfi was shameless. He should be grateful that he can still work at the company, but he is so greedy. He thought the company was a family legacy. Rere’s father worked hard to build the company from scratch. The company is purely owned by Rere’s father which he got after we got married. Lutfi wants to control everything because he feels he deserved it.”
“What shameless bastards,” Rere got angry. “Then what is the decision of the GMS?”
“Decision was postponed since they are waiting for you. I also get reports that hotels in Surabaya are experiencing a decline in turnover. The guests were suddenly deserted even though our hotel was the best and most luxurious in Surabaya. Something went wrong with the hotel management. There are also many irregularities in the financial statements of the mall in Surabaya. The mall is always busy but profits are decreasing. Tia, Dian, and I are investigating it. We will fly to Surabaya to solve the company problem. Honestly, I can’t manage many companies. It’s not that I don’t want to, but my presence in the company only brings a polemic. My status as mother’s stepson is in question.”
“I believe in you, Bara. I asked you to take care of the company because I know your ability.”
“The company is deteriorating. It’s better if Rere started to work in her rightful position.” Dila talked.
“Work? Me?” Rere pointed to herself. “I can’t. I know nothing. Let Bara take care of it.”
“Bara can’t, Re. My husband is only your step brother. Uncle Lutfi was threatened with Bara’s presence. He does not accept outsiders managing the family company. He feels more entitled to the position.” Dila tried to reason.
“I have no expertise in that area. Let Bang Bara manage the company.”
“I can’t, Rere. I can’t manage many companies. Honestly, I can’t deal with Uncle Lutfi. Not that I’m afraid with him, but I am afraid of losing control,” Bara said coldly. His face was dark.
Everyone was silent and did not comment on Bara’s words. All of them know Bara’s nature. The man is very dangerous when angry.
“You shouldn’t have said that,” Dila warned her husband. Dila hopes that Bara’s terrifying attitude will disappear.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to interfere.” Dila looked at everyone in turn.
“We’re family, Dila. You can voice your opinion.” Ainil looked at her daughter-in-law.
“I think Bara’s presence in Rere’s company has caused a controversy. Bara is only a stepson, making Uncle Lutfi feels more entitled to lead the company since he is the younger brother of Rere’s father. Uncle Lutfi feels his position is threatened. Rere should be the one to sit in the position. Uncle Lutfi has been working for a long time since the company was founded. He felt neglected and ignored. There is a sense of jealousy and envy towards Bara.”
“Uncle Lutfi is shameless. In the past, he embezzled company funds. We let him go in consideration of his wife and children. He actually wanted to own the company. He’s been falsifying financial statements since dad died. We who know nothing are fooled.” Rere talked. She got angry since Uncle Lutfi was always creating trouble.
“Relax.” Dino calmed his wife down.
“I can’t. He is too greedy.”
“There is no other way, Re. I can no longer manage the company. You have to take the position. I can help from the back.”
“I can’t. Working in a company is not my passion. I beg you. Don’t mind uncle Lutfi. He wanted to have company for himself.”
“I can’t, Re.”
“Why? You don’t care about me anymore?” Rere pushed Bara.
“Answer me! Why can’t you help me? You don’t love me anymore?” Rere was crying hysterically.
“The situation has changed, Re. If I don’t love you, I would just leave your company and let it get destroyed in Uncle Lutfi’s hand.” Bara was angry. He vented his anger. Dila approached her husband and rubbed his chest, trying to calm him.
Dino also acted the same. He approached Rere and calmed her. He gave Rere a glass of water.
“May I speak?” Dino looked at the whole family.
“Just talk, No,” Herman spoke up. Herman couldn’t say much because he felt he had no right in Rere and Ainil’s company. He married Ainil to get a partner, not to pursue her wealth.
“So, Rere owns several hotels and malls. Rere is the sole heir. So far, the company is managed by Bara, but Uncle Lutfi does not like Bara to manage the company because Bara is an outsider. Uncle Lutfi feels that he should be the one to lead the company because he is the younger brother of Rere’s father.” Dino confirmed.
“Right,” Bara spoke more softly.
“Rere, can I talk?” Dino looked at his wife. Rere nodded.
“Bara was right. Although you trust Bara to manage the company, Bara’s position is not strong because he is only your stepson. I’m not defending Bara, but Bara was so busy all this time. He is not an amoeba that can split up and lead all the company.”
Everyone was smiling and laughing when Dino said ‘Bara is not an amoeba that can split up’.
“Why are you laughing? What’s so funny?” Dino asked innocently.
“I’m not an amoeba,” Bara said in the midst of his laughter.
“It was just a parable.”
“I think Rere should be the one to lead the company. She should know how to manage it because she’s the real owner. It’s funny if a company owner can’t manage her own company. Tomorrow the GMS will be held again. I think, as a veteran in the company, Uncle Lutfi can influence the board of commissioners to kick Bara out. We can’t let that happen. Rere must be present at the GMS. You have to show them who the boss is and show your ability to manage a company.”
