The Amazing Process For Marrying You - Chapter 118
Dino and Rere went for a walk in the amusement park with the children. Hanin and Leon were playing kora-kora. The children play with the nanny. Rere is already working in the office. She is a fast learner and can make decisions without asking Dino.
“Thanks for everything, dad,” Rere spoke to her husband.
“Thank you for what?”
“Thank you for being patient and helping me manage my company. I can’t imagine what would happen if you don’t buy shares from Mr. Rusdi and Mr. Ananto. If someone else bought it, they would have overthrown me.”
“No need to thank me. I should have done that because it was your company. I have one request for you.”
“What? Do you want two more children?” Rere teased his husband.
“We’ve been diligently making it, Rere. Let’s wait for the results. Have you checked it yet? I remember having Leon after our first lovemaking. I am a superior seed.”
“So arrogant. I have a hormonal disorder. I only found out I was pregnant with Leon after six months. My stomach is flat and not bulging.”
“What hormone disorder?”
“I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.”
“What’s that?”
“PCOS is an abnormality in hormones and the body’s metabolic system that disturbed the function of the ovaries. It is a disease that causes the ovum or egg cells to not develop normally due to a hormonal imbalance. This can cause irregular menstrual periods with the formation of multiple cysts on the ovaries. Getting pregnant was a miracle. I even thought that I would become a barren woman, so at that time I was confident and said that I would not get pregnant.”
“We don’t know God’s power, Re. Leon’s existence is a miracle.” Dino embraced Rere and kissed his wife’s forehead. “Thank you for bringing Leon into this world.”
“No need to thank me. I did intend to give birth to him. I have loved him since I knew he was in my stomach.”
“How about getting some test packs?”
“Later.”

Rere is on his way home. She had just finished work. Dino returns to KL to take care of his company. Dino often commutes from Jakarta to KL. Rere can’t stay in KL because she takes care of her company.
Rere suddenly braked her car because she just hit a motorcyclist. It wasn’t Rere’s fault, since the motorcyclist overtaking her. Incidentally, the streets were deserted because it was late at night. Rere got out of the car to see the motorcyclist’s condition. The man lay on the asphalt, not moving at all.
Rere approached him with a trembling body. She was afraid that the man’s condition was severe. Rere did not see any blood on the man.
“Are you all right, sir? Rere spoke half-shouted. She didn’t dare approach the man.
No answer.
Silent.
“Sir, can you hear my voice?” Rere was moving closer. She was getting worried because there was no response. Rere hastily approached and touched the motorcyclist.
Suddenly the man got up. He grabbed Rere’s hair and then punched Rere’s stomach until she vomited blood. Not satisfied, the man kicked Rere as Rere’s body hit the car.
“Snake woman, you deserve it. This is your first warning. Don’t ever play with us.” The man banged Rere’s head against the car.
Rere screamed pitifully from the pain. Her body was so hurt all over that she couldn’t cry anymore. The man opened the car door and took Rere’s bag. The man quickly opened the bag and took Rere’s money.
“Help me,” Rere moaned, clutching her stomach. She vomited blood again. The man who attacked her was like a professional boxer. In one hit, he can make Rere weak and helpless.
Rere crawled to her car. She has lost power. She took out her cell phone and called her husband.
“No, help me…” Rere said before fainting.
Dino panicked when he heard Rere’s heart-wrenching wails.
“Tom, get the plane ready,” Dino shouted in a baritone voice.
Tom immediately called the airline to prepare a private jet for Dino.
Dino has a private jet that he bought for Ananya. After Ananya died, the jet was transferred to Hanin.
It took two hours for Dino to arrive at the hospital. He was shocked to find that Rere needed an operation. The family was waiting and they were very worried about Rere’s condition. Dino didn’t know what happened so Rere got terror from an unknown person. Ainil was shocked when the police contacted her and informed her about Rere’s condition. Shortly after the police called, Dino called her and told her that Rere had asked him for help.
The family was very worried about Rere’s condition. Bara and Dila paced in front of the operating room. They didn’t understand why Rere needed to have the operation. People said that Rere was harassed by a man. The man hit her in the stomach until she vomited blood. Not only that, the man even threw Rere’s body into the car until she finally fell unconscious.
“What happened to my wife, mother?” Dino looked worried. His face was pale and distressed. He still remembers how Rere cried when she called him.
“We haven’t received any answers yet. No. When we arrived, Dr. Uty had already asked us for an operation approval, but had not explained what happened to Rere.” Bara looked at Dino.
“Doctor Uty? That friend of yours?”
“Isn’t Uty an ob-gyn? an obstetrician?” Dila spoke.
“Gosh. Rere has PCOS. Is it possible she’s pregnant but doesn’t know about that?” Dino leaned against the wall. He slumped to the floor until his eyes welled up with tears.
“What do you mean No?” Ainil approached his son-in-law.
“Rere has PCOS. Sometimes she will not menstruate for a long time. It could be Rere was pregnant but unaware of her condition. When pregnant with Leon, she only discovered her pregnancy after six months because of PCOS. Rere rarely got her period. She doesn’t know she’s pregnant because she’s used to not menstruating.” Dino tried to hold back his tears. He was expecting another child from Rere. The boy had left before they knew his whereabouts.
“Not necessarily, No. The doctor hasn’t given any information yet.” Bara strengthened Dino. Hope that Dino’s guess is wrong.
“My feelings are never wrong, Bar. It was Uty who operated on Rere, right?”
“Right.” Dila nodded.
Dino’s chest felt tight. It’s like having trouble breathing. If his guess was correct, he would be very sad.
“Let’s pray to God, hopefully, your guess was wrong.”
Everyone waited anxiously. Hoping that what they feared would not happen. For some reason, Dino had a bad hunch. He glanced at the clock. The time feels so slow. Everyone waits in uncertainty.
Doctor Uty came out of the operating room. Dino got up and intercepted him.
“What happened to my wife?” Dino spoke in a trembling voice. His body shivered.
“No.” Doctor Uty touched Dino’s shoulder. She was also concerned about what happened to Rere.
“What’s the matter, Ty? Talk to us.” Bara urged Uty to speak.
“Don’t you guys really know what happened to Rere?” Doctor Uty was even confused by the family’s reaction.
“Is she pregnant? Did she miscarry by the hit?” Dino conveyed his conjecture.
Uty glanced weakly at Dino. He could see Dino’s sadness and anxiety.
“Sorry, No. Rere has a miscarriage. It was a six-week pregnancy. I just performed the curettage to Rere.”
“Why did you perform curettage?” Dino understood what Uty meant. He had experienced it so he was familiar with the term curettage. Ananya had a curettage before she was pregnant with Hanin.
“I’ve tried my best No, but your baby can’t be saved.” Doctor Uty wiped the sweat.
“How about Rere’s condition?” Bara spoke up. For some reason, he was sad because he lost his nephew. He could feel Dino’s pain and sorrow.
“She’s still asleep from the anesthetic. She’ll be awake in a minute.”
“Oh my God, Rere. Why did this happen to you?” Ainil cries. Something just ruined her daughter’s happiness. She doesn’t know why Rere always has bad luck.
“Can I see her?” Dino asked Uty.
“You can see her after the nurse moved her to the treatment room. I’ll go first. Uncle, aunt, Bar, Dila.” Doctor Uty said goodbye.
“Tom,” Dino called softly to the assistant.
“Find out who did this to Rere. Check CCTV and find the culprit. I will not let the culprit get away easily. He has killed my offspring,” Dino said angrily. The whole family shuddered at the sight of Dino’s anger. Every husband would also get angry when they saw their beloved wife being harassed.
“Okay boss.”
“No, are you okay?” Dila is even worried about Dino’s psychological condition. As long as she knows Dino, this is the first time Dila has seen him look so terrible.
“I won’t slack off anymore. I don’t want to lose my wife for the second time. I swear I won’t let go of the culprit who abused Rere.”
“Calm down, No. You’d better drink first.” Herman handed mineral water to his son-in-law.
