The Amazing Process For Marrying You - Chapter 88
Dino stared intently at the view of KL city from the window while drinking his coffee. Arriving in the capital, the man immediately headed for the office. The work has piled up since he left for some time. How many glasses has he drunk? Dino relieves his stress by drinking coffee now. The One Night Stand incident with Rere traumatized Dino. He didn’t want to repeat the same mistake, therefore since that incident, Dino has stop drinking alcohol and start drinking coffee. At least the coffee won’t make him drunk and lose control.
The pain in his heart cannot be forgotten since Rere’s words keep ringing in his ears. Although he likes flirting with her, Dino is not a cunning man who uses dirty ways to win Rere’s heart. His relationship with Rere is not getting better but worsens every passing day. In fact, Dino’s intention to marry Rere was not only for Leon’s sake but also for his sake since he wanted to make Rere his last woman. Dino wasn’t a hypocrite to deny that he started liking that stubborn girl. Her expression when she was angry made her look cuter in Dino’s eyes.
Dino took another sip of coffee with feelings of devastation and disappointment. He had to swallow the bitter pill that Rere still had a grudge and hated him. Dino was at his wit’s end on how to conquer Rere’s heart. It’s not easy to get her heart. He looked back at the empty glass in his hand. Dino put down the empty glass and asked the office girls to prepare a few cups of coffee for him.
Dino looked at his wedding photo with Rere which was deliberately displayed on his desk. His gaze was blank. Seeing Rere’s smile made his heart tremble. There was a tingling feeling in the corners of his heart. Dino wanted to be like any other couple, hugging and sharing everything with his wife. He had been a lonely man for four years. Ananya’s death left a wound in his heart. It was not easy for Dino to accept Ananya’s death. He was at rock bottom when his first wife died. At that time Ananya was slandered and became the subject of media gossip.
It’s natural to feel sad when someone loses a loved one. It’s not as easy as it seems when someone is told to let go of the person they loved forever. However, if humans learn to devote themselves only to God, life will be easier. Dino tries to accept the fact that Ananya’s death is a fate from God. The man loved his late wife very much.
Dino took his cell phone and called Hanin. He had given Hanin a cell phone to make it easier for him to contact his daughter. Dino wanted to punish Rere and did not talk to her for a while. Dino smiled in relief seeing his daughter’s face.
Hanin waved and smiled.
“Hey, dad. Have you arrived at KL?”
“Yes, dear. How was your school today?”
“It’s amazing, dad. I went to school with the triplets.”
“Are you happy?”
“I’m very happy, dad. Thanks for asking.”
“Yes, honey. I hope I can always make you happy.”
“I love you, dad.”
“I love you too. Where is your brother?”
“Leon is at Aunt Rere’s home. I stay at mom’s home. I will not meet Aunt Rere. I hate her.”
“Hanin, please…. Don’t hate her. She’s your mom.” Dino advised his daughter.
“She doesn’t love me, dad. Did you remember the old song? The stepmother only loves the father and hates the stepdaughter.”
“Who poisoned your mind?”
“No one. I’m just old enough to understand everything.”
Dino laughed at Hanin’s funny response. Since when did his daughter become so mature? Dino didn’t realize that his daughter had grown up. The seven-year-old girl is more mature than her age now.
“Hanin, please be nice to mommy. If you behave badly, people will say that dad failed to educate you.”
“But dad….I’m just copying Aunt Rere’s attitude towards you. I will avenge you. I know that aunty treats you badly. He was bad at you.”
Dino was shocked. His chest felt tight when he heard Hanin’s words. Who told her about this?
“Who said mommy was bad to dad?” Dino kept calling Rere ‘mommy’ in front of Hanin.
“Your acting is so bad that you can’t deceive me forever.”
“Hanin, please…”
“I saw you fighting with Aunt Rere.”
“Gosh.” Dino cursed his stupidity because Hanin saw his fight with Rere.
The sound of the door opening came from Dino’s office. The man turned his head to see who was coming. Dino saw Nesya enter his room with a younger woman. Nesya is Dino’s trustworthy secretary. She had worked with him for ten years. Nesya worked for him since she was just a freshly graduated girl until she was pregnant with her third child. Before she took her maternity leaves for three months, she needed to find a replacement secretary for Dino.
“Sorry, sir. I knocked on the door earlier but there was no answer.” Nesya apologized before Dino got angry for her presumptuous behavior. Nesya has difficulty walking because of her late pregnancy. She walked slowly while holding her waist.
“Hanin, dad will call you again later. Take care of yourself.”
“Take care, dad.” Hanin waved at the camera.
A tall slim woman with fair skin standing next to Nesya. The woman wore a knee-length skirt with a formal shirt. Her hair was tied in a bun, revealing her long neck. Her neck is decorated with a necklace with an ‘S’ inscription.
“Sir, this is Sheila. She’s the new secretary who will replace me during my leave.”
“Sheila,” the girl introduced herself.
Dino cupped his hands in front of his chest not wanting to touch Sheila. The girl smiled, understanding of the boss’s gesture.
“Dino.” Dino nodded.
Nesya sat in a chair without being invited since she couldn’t stand for long.
“My choice fell on Sheila from all of the candidates. She has working experience as a secretary for two years. She quickly grasps what I teach her.”
“Good then. I believe in your choice. You must tell everything she needs to know before your maternity leave.”
“Don’t worry, sir. I will show Sheila her duties and responsibilities. I wouldn’t be able to rest easily if I didn’t make her accustomed to her work first.”
“I will do my best, sir. It is an honor to work for this company. I’ve always wanted to work for an advertising company.”
“Hope you enjoy working here.”
“I’m sure I will, sir.” Sheila seems excited.
Dino was relieved to see that. Hopefully, this secretary can work well and nimbly like Nesya. Dino is used to Nesya’s assistance, so he always compares the performance of other secretaries with Nesya. So far, Dino has not found a secretary who is better than Nesya.
“Alright. You guys can go back to work,” Dino said while looking at Nesya and Sheila.
“Yes, Sir.” Nesya got up from the chair.
After only a few steps, Nesya stopped and turned to Dino.
“Would you like some coffee, sir?” Nesya teased the boss.
“It is enough. I don’t need it anymore.”
Nesya then left Dino’s room with Sheila.
“Does the boss always drink that much coffee?” Sheila asked Nesya.
“Never.” Nessie answered with a shrug. She knew that Dino had a fight with his new wife since Dino had talked to her.

“Hanin, let’s go home.” Rere grabbed Hanin’s arm when she saw the girl playing in the park with the triplets. The four children were having a picnic. Incidentally, the housing complex provides a green garden for residents to relax from their busy routine.
Rere didn’t want to be lectured by Ainil, so she decided to drag Hanin home. She couldn’t be gentle and kept her voice low anymore.
“I don’t want to go home with auntie.”
“Let’s go home.” Rere gripped her stepdaughter’s hand.
“Take your hands off. I want to play.”
“Hanin, can you hear mommy? Be an obedient girl.”
“I learned everything from you.”
“What have you learned? I never taught you to be a bad kid.”
“You teach me to be like this.” Hanin is firm in her stance.
“Don’t make mommy angry, girl. Can you be a good girl?”
“You’re no different than me,” Hanin retorted as she took a toy cooking utensil and poured sand inside, and gave it to Salsa.
“Thank you.” Salsa smiled sweetly.
“Hanin, listen to mommy. Let’s go home now since It’s late, plus you should take a bath.”
“I will take a bath at Mom Dila’s place.”
“I am your mother, not Dila.”
“Not. My mother is mom Ananya, not you.”
“I know that I can’t replace Mom Ananya’s position but you need to remember that I am your mother now. I just want to take care of you like Leon.”
“Just take care of Leon. I’m not your daughter!”
“Hanin,” Rere’s emotion was provoked as she decided to drag Hanin home.
“Rere, what are you doing?” Dila gets annoyed seeing Rere drag Hanin.
“This is my business. Do not interfere.”
“It’s my business because you hurt Hanin.”
The girl ran and hid behind Dila’s back as soon as Rere let go of her hand.
“Mom, I’m scared. She is like a witch,” Hanin said sarcastically at Rere.
The triplets were busy playing with the sand, so they weren’t affected by Rere and Hanin’s fight.
