The Assassin’s Enemy Lover - Chapter 563
563 How do you tuck it in?
Yi Feng who heard from Yi Youxi that his mother was fighting with his boyfriend, ran over only to hear this awkward conversation.
Knowing what was coming, Yi Feng turned his foot silently before making a run for it. But before he could run far, his boyfriend saw him and asked, “Baby, you didn’t tell her?”
Yi Feng, “….”
Yes, he didn’t say it. That’s because his mother liked Leila so much despite having met her a handful of times. Whenever she saw her, she would mention getting the two of them together and how much Leila was a positive influence in his life.
That was indeed the truth, he met Kiet when he was in a bad space and they became close friends. Whether he was Kiet or Leila they were the same person who stuck close by him in the dark times. His family was there but he didn’t want to disappoint them further so if he was struggling he wouldn’t go to his mother or Yi Chen but he would go to Leila a.k.a. Kiet.
They were super close and his mother mistakenly thought they had a thing. Well, at that time he thought she was mistaken but now looking at it her mother had a sixth sense about these things. She knew he loved Leila before he even knew he had feelings for her.
When he got together with Kiet, his mother would ask about Leila and talk about how she would love to go shopping with her and have a girls’ night out. He should have confessed then but he felt like she would be upset. Who would have thought today would be the day she found out?
“Mum… Kiet is Leila. He… how do I explain this. He dresses up as Leila sometimes,” he said but his mother couldn’t believe it.
“No way… but the face, the eye colour… it’s different. Plus where does your… you know… where does it go. It can’t just disappear underneath the skirt. You can’t put it on and take it out. Plus these, Leila had these and you are as flat as a pancake,” she said referring to her boobs.
…..
“Well, I,” said doctor Kiet about to explain when a dull pop sound that was now familiar to the three of them echoed.
Ming Ming giggled as she said, “I got you,” before running away with her dad.
Yi Feng, “…”
“Mum, let’s go talk outside the maze. I will explain everything,” said Yi Feng but his mother was clear about it.
“I don’t want to hear from you. Come, Kiet, you tell me everything starting with the boobs thing. Do you grow them or is it like a hormone therapy thing or a pill? They looked so freaking real.”
Kiet didn’t expect the direction of this conversation to go there. He answered honestly, “No, I put on a snug-fitting bra and then put the silicone breast enhancement pad in each cup of the bra and it pushes my skin toward the centre to create the illusion of a… cle cleavage.”
He had explained test results and medical procedures to patients before but he had never had to explain how he dresses up in drag. He never imagined that one day he would be explaining to his mother in law how he got dressed up.
“Really? So how about your sausage? I reckon it can’t be so small that you can’t see it through the skirt, is it?”
Doctor Kiet, “…”
He could tell she was genuinely curious so he didn’t have a problem explaining it as respectful and less embarrassing as he could.
“I have a tuck kit and I tape it down with um tape,” he said his ears turning red.
“Does it hurt?” she asked seeming genuinely concerned for him.
Doctor Kiet shook his head no while saying, “It doesn’t and if it does then they are probably doing something wrong.”
“How about the makeup? Leila looked so you know… she had soft features… and the eye colour. How on earth is that possible? I mean it’s interesting and everything but how do you manage to do that?” she asked as they stopped along the hillside.
Yi Feng who had been chased off by his mother kept looking back at them constantly but they didn’t even check on him. With his back slumped he walked up and uncle Lin tossed a scrunched up chocolate wrapper at him and asked, “What’s up with that sour face? Did he dump you?”
“No… why would you even ask that?” he said tossing back the wrapper.
“I don’t know. So we can be single together. It’s boring out here,” he said as Yi Feng sat next to him.
“How are you up here already? That’s too fast even for you,” he asked while picking up a cupcake from the nearby table.
“I got betrayed by my teammates. They stabbed me right in the back,” he said and Yi Feng couldn’t help but laugh. He didn’t think there was anyone as miserable as him. At least it was Ming Ming who got him and not his teammates.
“I thought those two don’t get along. What’s up with that?” he asked and Yi Feng shifted his gaze from the cupcake he was peeling the baking cup off of.
When he saw them laughing he suddenly felt a sense of ease. “They are getting along now. It’s a good thing,” he said with a beaming smile that grew into a burst of laughter when he saw Leo Lin being chased out of the maze by his mother.
“Mum, that’s not how this game works. You can’t take me out when you are already out of the game,” he yelled while running.
“Why can’t I when you took your own mother out of the game? Who does that? What kind of son are you? Unfilial, that’s what,” she said while throwing one more water balloon at him.
It turns out Leo Lin thought it would be a great idea to get back at his mom by taking her out. This was already a very bad idea from the get-go but it was made worse when he accidentally hit her face with it. Her face wasn’t what he was aiming for but that’s what happened so… yep.
Now should the referee or judge intervene? Yes. But did he? Absolutely not.
