The Assassin’s Enemy Lover - Chapter 593 - 593 "Did you write this?"
593 “Did you write this?”
“You believe me now?” asked Yi Zhen and Zi Han lightly smacked his arm while saying,
“Why didn’t you tell me you are a Kao fan? What do they call the fans again?” he said turning to ask Ming Ming but Yi Chen answered,
“I am not a Kaonite. It’s just that if the song keeps playing in the house you will soon know the songs back to ba-,” he said only for Ming Ming to scream out loud after her light stick was randomly picked to come on stage.
“Ming-er, are you trying to make me deaf before I even get old?” said Yi Zhen but his daughter didn’t respond. She already had one foot out of the door.
Yi Chen grabbed her by the back of her collar and pulled her back before asking, “Where do you think you are going?”
“I was picked to go on stage look look look. They switched off all of them and said they will randomly pick fans to go on stage for the last song,” she spoke hurriedly like they would pick someone else if she was a second late.
“I will take her,” said Zi Han since he was the only adult here who seemed to be in this with her wholeheartedly but Yi Chen’s reaction was unexpected.
He let go of Ming Ming and said, “I will go with her.” Zi Han didn’t suspect anything. He didn’t know that his fiance was afraid of this Akito guy who had explicitly shown interest in him.
“Just be careful,” said Yi Zhen and Yeoh Jun glanced back while saying,
…..
“Yes please, it’s like a warzone out there. Don’t get lost.”
Yi Chen nodded his head while Ming Ming was pulling his arm impatiently urging him to go. As the two left, Zi Han sat back down in the comfortable chair waiting for Ming Ming to show up on stage. He wanted to take a video for her so she could remember this moment, the moment she met her idol.
But before he could even swipe open his light brain, he noticed that Ming Ming left her chibi plush she wanted to be signed.
He picked it up and said to his dad, “She left this. I will bring it to her. Oh and Youxi, record it for her please?” Yeoh Jun barely raised his head as he hummed in agreement while Yi Youxi gave a perfunctory response. He was the least trustworthy of the three to trust this important task too. He glanced at Yi Zhen and his father in law instantly understood his meaning. He nodded his head and Zi Han felt at ease.
After that Zi Han left the VIP room. When he stepped out the corridor was empty with two bodyguards on either end. He passed by one of them and she actively saluted. It was their duty as the Bloodgarde, after all, to protect the royal family members and that task had already been reinforced.
Zi Han nodded his head slightly in acknowledgement before walking past her. He entered the elevator with his head lowered and typed a message to Yi Chen letting him know that Ming Ming had left her plush.
By the time he got there, Ming Ming had already left the stage and was with a couple of girls surrounding two of the band members.
And his fiance? Well, funny story actually. His fiance came down with Ming Ming and stayed off stage while she scurried over with the other girls to hug their boy band idols but before Ming Ming could hug Akito older brother Chen somehow got her attention his eyes strict and saying no hugging.
Ming Ming sneered before stretching out her hand to shake Akito’s hand like a dignified lady. This little action of hers attracted the band members and lo and behold, the Marshal was standing right in front of them.
Who would have thought that they would be graced by such an important figure? If they knew that the Marshal’s sister was their fan they might have mentally prepared to meet him.
Akito was just as stunned but he recovered quickly when he met that fierce death glare that pierced straight into his flesh.
He couldn’t help but jolt in fright wondering when he offended this beast. He hurriedly let go of the little girl’s hand just in case that was the crime. Unfortunately even that couldn’t remedy the situation.
He got himself together and they performed the last song well thoroughly satisfying the appetite of their fans. Ming Ming was so happy that she felt like she was part of the band singing along and following their dance moves to the t, in fact, they even gave her an honorary title of the fourth group member.
When they left the stage the girls wanted autographs and praises their idols to the high heaven. The atmosphere was cheerful and lively but it wasn’t enough to suppress the killing intent coming from Yi Chen.
Akito under the urging of their manager decided it was a good idea to air it out with this great buddha otherwise forget singing, he would be kicked off Capital Star if he offends this man.
“Mar-marshal, have I offended yo-,” he said only for Yi Chen to pull up the comment and ask,
“Did you write this?”
Akito, “WTF!”
Who knew that the Marshal would read those comments? Were his words true? Well yes, he happened to find Zi Han very attractive but did he write it with a sober mind? Nope, he didn’t. They had had a long tour across the federation and on the last night, they decided to drink. As always alcohol is the devil’s spawn. He wrote this after feeling a little lonely. One can only imagine how single dogs feel seeing happy couples showing off their love constantly so he posted it.
But because it was on his sockpuppet account that most didn’t know about, he didn’t delete it. This was why his manager didn’t grill him over it but who would have thought retribution would come today?
This man was the Marshal of the Onyx federation interplanetary army so if he wanted to know the name of a person after posting anonymously he would find out in a heartbeat. He just didn’t think Yi Chen would care about such things.
AN: Lighting a candle for you bro.
