The Assassin’s Enemy Lover - Chapter 594 - 594 "Dage, why are you lying?"
594 “Dage, why are you lying?”
“I I I I,” were the only words coming from this poor music artist’s mouth. He was the type that only went to the gym for stretch exercises and dance training and he had never fought anyone in his entire life.
Looking at the man standing in front of him he was not only taller but he was also stronger with a stance like he would knock him out with one swing. Looking at it now he couldn’t help but regretfully ask himself why he even sent that comment when he couldn’t beat his competitor.
He had never been frightened in his entire life. His knees felt weak and his fingers were trembling but he still had a voice.
“I sent it yes… but I didn’t mean anything by it,” he said before licking his dry lips in nervousness.
Yi Chen knew people wrote stuff on StarNet that they didn’t mean but this still bothered him so much.
He was about to tell him to forget that he had ever seen Zi Han and never to write something like this again when Ming Ming walked over with a happy smile asking for an autograph from her favourite superstar but when she saw his state she knew something was up.
She wanted to reprimand her brother for making her favourite artist cry. Well, no. He not only made him feel like crying, but Akito was also almost shitting his pants right now.
Ming Ming tried to defuse the situation by asking for an autograph but she then realised that she didn’t bring her plush so she could get it signed on its tiny t-shirt.
She tugged her older brother’s sleeve but he didn’t even look at her. His sight was fixed on this young man who was trembling in front of him his gaze as fierce as a lion who had been robbed of his lioness.
…..
“Dage, I forgot my plush. Can he sign my t-shirt?” she asked looking so pitiful like she was going to cry. It was only then that Yi Chen turned to look at her his answer abrupt and non-negotiable.
“No,” he said his voice stern and unquestionable.
Ming Ming was so annoyed at this point. She stomped her foot and said, “Then what am I supposed to get signed?… Then let’s get your t-shirt signed and you will give it to me later,” she said her expression like that of their mother when she wasn’t playing games. Ming Ming was actually serious.
“You are joking, right?” asked Yi Chen, and Ming Ming spun him around before showing his back.
She smiled with her teeth clenched like she was trying to restrain something.
She showed that unsettling smile to Akito while apologizing. “I am sorry about him. He is like that with strangers,” she said before handing him a fancy marker after uncapping it. “Will you please sign this for me?” she asked politely that Akito couldn’t refuse.
“Um…,” he said while pointing at that frozen stiff back that was exuding a chilling aura.
Ming Ming followed his gaze and saw that he was pointing at the glacier in front of him.
“It’s fine. You are fine right dage?” she asked and Yi Chen was at a loss at this point. What was he supposed to say? He knew how important this was to his sister but he really didn’t want to get his t-shirt signed.
“But that’s my favourite t-shirt,” he said and Ming Ming almost rolled her eyes. It was incredibly funny because he never had a favourite anything. The only favourite he had was Zi Han and if that t-shirt was not from him then he wouldn’t even remember it even if it got lost.
“Dage, why are you lying?” she said while urging Akito on to sign. Looking at the soul-piercing gaze directed at him Akito wasn’t sure who was more terrifying between the two.
“Just hurry up,” he said and Akito signed but his hand was trembling the entire time. It was like signing his own death certificate.
It was at this time that Zi Han decided to walk over. He had no idea why Yi Chen was roasting the weak chicken but he found it rather amusing seeing him sweat bullets like that.
Zi Han strode over his steps slow and stood beside Akito while staring at his signature. Because he came from behind them no one knew he was there.
Yi Chen’s brows furrowed because he could smell a familiar scent but because the tip of the marker pressing on his back was so annoying he didn’t think about it some more.
Akito felt someone standing next to him but he didn’t immediately look in that direction. He just assumed it was one of his group members. When he finished signing he glanced in that direction and saw that handsome side profile.
At first, he didn’t think too much about it but when he took a second glance he almost got a heart attack.
“Ha, Ha…,” he stammered while taking a step back. Zi Han smiled at him before taking the marker from him.
“Your signature looks good. It’s way better than mine,” said Zi Han and Yi Chen’s heart jolted in fright. What he feared the most had just happened.
He turned around and asked, “Why are you here?” Zi Han took out the chibi plush and gave it to Akito his smile genuine and friendly.
“Ming Ming forgot this so I brought it for her,” he said and Ming Ming suddenly felt that the atmosphere wasn’t right. Her sister in law was smiling but the smell of gunpowder in the air was quite suffocating.
Zi Han looked at Akito but what he saw on his face was a little startling. Why was this lovely-looking young man staring at him like he was a fan of his? He was looking at him the same way those girls were looking at him (Akito).
Zi Han was so confused but he didn’t show it on his face. “Are you going to sign?” he asked and Akito finally came out of his stupor.
“Uh, yes… yes I will sign,” he said his hand trembling even more than before.
He opened his mouth and was about to ask for a picture but he felt sharp daggers were piercing through his entire body thus he could only shut up.
