The Astronomer’s Stigma - Chapter 1 Stigma Types

Star Blessed || Where a star blesses its abilities upon a “champion.” Although, the star’s views on this differs. The champion for one star could be imagined as being part of a widening family. Others could be considered solely as the tool or servant of the star. All of the star blessed are given unique power from the stars that they represent.

Star Shined || Where a person cultivates a talent to the point where it breaks into starlight and is recorded amongst the Akashic Records. These people are uniquely connected to their own source of energy and can handle it more dexterously than someone who was just blessed. Plus, their powers are of their own making. The only limitation is that the starlight essence is only as strong as the person who cultivates it. The Star Shined have an extended lifetime that increases with their progress in their talent.

Akashic’s Chosen || Where a person who is pure and curious is chosen to be one that changes history in of itself. Historical figures who’s dreams and passions rose to the skies had felt energy to enter through them to make impossible things possible. An Akashic’s Chosen has a unique skill focused about their passion. The most common are the leaders of social groups, like Martin Luther King Jr. And Hitler.

Star Disciple || When a person is accepted as a disciple of a Star Shined. They’re able to slowly inherit the skills and techniques that were raised from their master. This is a process that takes awhile depending on the compatibility and the similarities between master and disciple. Star Disciples also are able to extend their lifespans in accordance to how much they further their training. However, a Star Disciple cannot gain a longer lifespan than their masters unless they too unlock their Star Shine.

Element Warrior || When a person becomes attuned to (an) element(s) enough, they are able to borrow and grow strength from their environments. Overtime, like a seed growing out, they can become the embodiment of the element, being able to control it to their own whims. Element Warriors become immortal at their last stages of life.

Starborn || When a Star Disciple, Star Shined or Star Blessed procreates, they’re able to pass down a portion of their starshine. This energy is sometimes formless and can be molded by the Starborn after the Starborn has awakened to it. There are cases where Starborn go through their entire life without waking the dormant starshine. Other times, they starshine takes on a form from their father/mother and in rare cases, from both parents. Starborn are one of the more easier ways of passing on innate starshine, but it’s hard enough to awaken it that only a small percentage ever do.
