The Beloved Fiancee Is Likely to Be the Villain - CH 20
As the week dawned, the school was abuzz with rumors about Miss Ulysses, although no one was talking about her publicly, there were still people who were whispering excitedly among themselves.
And it should be. She was only a local Baroness, but she was always surrounded by three aristocratic sons.
Viscount Lukes Enghant, Marquess Raphael Marshall, and Count Edward Norden. The son of the Prime Minister, the Head Wizard, and the Knight Commander of the royal court. Candidates for the King’s entourage in the future with a bright future ahead of them.
Some said with admiration that she was indeed a “Star Maiden,” while others raised their eyebrows, wondering what kind of a trick she had pulled off.
–However, Miss Ulysses’ expression was not so bright.
She was surrounded by three suitors of three powerful family of the Empire. People looked at her from a distance, but no one approached her. A Baroness with three sons of nobles in her household would be shunned by ordinary people.
There were some daughters who admired Miss Ulysses, but because of their aristocratic upbringing, they were sensitive to people’s curiosity and antipathy, and did not want to join her circle willingly. It was difficult for Miss Ulysses to talk to them.
Or, perhaps there were other reasons for Miss Ulysess’s somewhat stern smile.
When I was listening closely as I passed by, I heard Raphael whispering with an entranced expression, “I’d love for you to try my new magic ……, just the two of us, of course”. I’m sure he was hitting on Miss Ulysses with the same intensity as he does on other girls.
The edge of Miss Ulysses’ mouth was trembling as she seemed to be smiling and playing it off. She looked like she had caught a filthy bug but was unable to shake it off.
Edward and Lukes were also gently admonishing her, but I think they were not happy about it. Both of them were thinking ‘I can’t leave Raphael and Miss Ulysses alone’. So that was how all three of them are stuck together like a dumpling.
And the other students didn’t come close to them. If they didn’t get close to each her, the effect of the “Enchantment” blessing would be weak.
Rapjael’s strategy wins ……, right? Right? Let me think so.
Miss Ulysses must be impatient with the situation now.
If the novel is to be believed, Elizabeth’s harassment must have worsened during this period. However, instead of worsening, Elizabeth was not harassing her, and even when the other daughters express their dissatisfaction, they spoke out in defense of Elizabeth.
In the eyes of those around her, Miss Ulysses may be a “Star Maiden,” but Elizabeth was not a villainous girl.
The coming-of-age party was only three months away.
That was both our time limit and grace. No decisive incident will occur until the party. The other side had no choice but to leave it up to Miss Ulysses to do her job.
If we can find evidence of the Duke of Druids involvement in this matter before the party, we win.
Now, let’s hope that by riling up Miss Ulysses, we can get her to spill the beans.

I thought that if Miss Ulysses were to make a move, it would be toward me first, so I decided to spend after-school hours in the classroom where Miss Ulysses and Edward had caught me before. I had been avoiding the classroom recently because I didn’t want to see her, but I could no longer do that. If I wanted to caught her, I had to play with her, but with my rules.
Harold, who was standing by my side, was silently wringing his hands. I wonder if this is a rehearsal of the capture when Miss Ulysses tried to touch me.
I talked about Elizabeth in a whisper because I was bored.
“When this case is solved, I’m going to go to the circus with Elizabeth.”
“Your Highness, that’s an ominous word.”
“How’s it going with your girlfriend?”
I’ve been so busy with this that I haven’t been able to find out who she was. I have to start by looking for a secret agent, since all of my handlers are under Harold’s control. And I have to do it without Harold’s knowledge.
When I asked, Harold’s expressionless face changed to a No-like face – in other words, a face that seemed to have frozen his originally absent emotions even more.
“More than His Highness ……, I am able to see the face of the one I have feelings for.”
“What a mind-boggling thing to say in a minimum number of words.”
I felt so sorry for myself as I sat in an empty classroom waiting for Miss Ulysses to show up, so I kept my mouth shut.
Let’s not talk about this for a while.
So after a few days of waiting, Miss Ulysses jumped in, just as I wanted.
**********
Accompanied by Miss Ulysses was the young lady who called Elizabeth from her room at a study session some time ago. She was nodding her head, her back hunched, and she was not looking as vivacious as she had been at that time.
“I, too, was shocked to see, you know,…….”*(Elizabeth’s friend)
[T/N: She is mumbling incoherently since she is under the spell of “Enchantment”]
The fact that she showed up at this time means that she is now on Ulysses’ side.
“I have something to tell you, Your Highness the Crown Prince.”(Ulysses)
Perhaps out of consideration for Harold, Miss Ulysses did not call me by name, nor did she ran up to me.
The young lady who had been brought to me folded her knees in front of me, her hands in front of her chest, and set her gaze on the tips of my shoes.
This is the posture one takes when giving a statement to a superior.
Miss Ulysses put her hand on her shoulder as if to encourage her. But I knew, it was to increase the effect of “Enchantment”.
“With all due respect, I say this to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. Please forgive me.”
I didn’t really want to hear it, but if I didn’t hear it, I wouldn’t know what they were up to.
“I was the one who damaged Miss Ulysses’ personal belongings. It was ordered by …… Elizabeth.”
A single tear trickled down her cheek as she told me in a trembling voice.
