The Billionaire’s Virtuous Slave - Chapter 7
CHAPTER 7
“Do you get it now?” Wrum asked me as we exited his father’s mansion. “Maybe you are not stupid not to nderstand what we are saying. Just count your days in my hand.” he threatened me.
I just did not answer him. I know that even if I beg now, there is still nothing. My life will still be in danger here.
“You will serve me, but I still kill you at the end. As what my father said.” he added as we stopped near his car. Wim and his driver opened the door for us. Even before it finally entered, he confronted me.
“Do you understand?”
I just stared at him. “I will not be my disciple. That will not happen.” I told him. He also looked serious as he looked at me.
“There’s nothing that can be done yet.” said Wrum
“Get inside the car if you don’t want me to kill you.” he threatened me. He told me this seriously. “If you don’t want me to punish you.” he added.
I could do nothing but get back into his car. I sat up straight as I could not help but remember what his father had told me. They are going to kill me. They will kill me and my father. That sucks.
Wrum came in as well and sat down next to me. Maybe I am and we are going home now to his mansion.
“Wrum, are you going home or are you going somewhere else right now?” Wim asked in front.
“Let’s go back to the mansion for now.” said Wrum to my side.
“Okay.” Wim’s only answer in the front seat and he was able to sit up.
The driver immediately started the car while silence enveloped us on the ride. All I could do was look at the car’s glass window. I do not want to think about things and I do not want to cry.
“Wrum,” Wim said again and faced us. “Mr. Tuniquni, the owner of the …”
I no longer listened to what they were talking about. I know it’s a business related topic. I did not like that so I just comforted myself again looking at the places we will pass until I just felt the car stop.
“Alright.” said Wim. He opened the door and went out while Wrum and I and the driver were still sitting inside. I don’t know why Wim came out. I just saw it enter the restaurant.
Maybe he will talk to someone inside.
“Why are you looking at him?” Wrum asked me so I immediately looked at him.
“There’s nothing wrong with following him.” I only answered him while it was streaked with anger. “And one more thing, you can’t control what I want to do. You don’t own me.” I joined him.
“You’re living in my mansion means you will follow what I need to tell you.” he replied.
I just averted my eyes from him as I sat up. Does he already own me?
“Do you accept that this is your destiny in life?” he asked and I just looked back at him.
“I will never accept it. It’s just the beginning and you know it. I have no intention of being your slave.” I said as I just stared into his eyes as he did the same to me.
“If I were you, you would just accept it so that I can still give you a chance to live.” he said as if he was threatening me again that if I do not accept his slavery, I will die.
“Do you want to accept it or not? Just tell me. I will prepare my people for your father’s murder.” he threatened.
I was devastated by what he said. They always said that they would kill my father. It’s just annoying.
My heart pounds faster. I still don’t know if I will accept it. But I can do nothing more. This is probably the hardest decision I have ever made in my entire life.
“Answer me now.” he told me again.
I just looked at him seriously while he just looked at me as if waiting for my lips to open to speak.
“Okay fine. If you will not—” I did not finish his speech and I immediately spoke up.
“Fine. I will accept. I will accept, that I will be your slave.” I just said as I bit my lower lip because of what I told him. “First of all, I didn’t like it and you know it and I will never like to come here.” I explained to him.
“That’s right. Just hurry up and talk.” I heard him answer me. “Because you agreed, I will take care of your father and you.” he added.
I immediately averted my eyes from him. I hope and I did not make a mistake in my decision to agree to be his slave. I hope not.
Wim returned and immediately got inside the car while carrying a brown envelope. He sat down in the front seat as he turned to us again.
“I got it.” he said as he slightly raised the brown envelope he was carrying.
“You take care of that first.” Wrum answered him seriously. Wim just nodded and adjusted his seat again then the car started immediately.
I just sighed and closed my eyes slightly. My cheerful father and mother appeared in my mind. We were bonding in a park that seemed like no problem. Now I know what was hidden in their smiles at that moment.
Now I get it. I just found out that behind that smile is a big blow to our lives. I am not dissapointed with them. I just want to ask them why they did not tell me now that I am of legal age. Now that I am 23 years old.
“I don’t want you to worries a lot. So smile and accept that this is your fate.” Wrum said and I immediately turned to look at him. “Your fate to be mine”
Is this my fate?
