The Birth of a Villainess - Chapter 280
[UNEDITED]
After giving him a piece of what she could do to him for how long he wants it to be, Lin Xiaofei sat back to the chair that she set up behind her. It was not that far from where Yu Fangzhu was mounted and she could clearly see his face as he tried to stubbornly keep the pain from breaking him.
But even Yu Fangzhu knew that no one could really take a beating from someone else much less, now that Lin Xiaofei wanted him to be tortured and receive beyond imaginable injuries.
There was one thing that Yu Fangzhu wanted the most now that it came to this.
Never had he wished that Qu Xing Xu would be here to see that the woman he married was a devil who came back from the dead. The prince wanted the duke to see that he had married wrong and hate Lin Xiaofei.
But Qu Xing Xu was nowhere around.
Looking out at the door, Yu Fangzhu was hoping that the duke would realize that his wife was in this filthy dungeon and applying different torture methods on him.
Seeing through what he was thinking about, Lin Xiaofei chuckled. She said to him, “Who are you looking for? Are you perhaps looking forward to see someone coming to save you? Or maybe, you want the duke to come here?”
Her voice carried a mocking tone as she looked at him with disdain. Yu Fangzhu bit his lips until it was almost bleeding after being found out.
“Are you seriously thinking that if my husband came here and see this, you would get the chance to see me humiliated and broken once again?” She laughed at him. Yu Fangzhu still liked to imagine that things that would never happen.
Instead of breaking apart his hopeless dream and telling him that Qu Xing Xu already knew of the fact that she transmigrated into Lin Xiaofei’s body and married someone he shouldn’t, Lin Xiaofei let him have the luxury to have his delusions for the time being.
After all, what could a living dead man do to harm her?
The prince will only overwork his mentality for thinking too much.
“Shall I begin?”
The voice that came from her side startled her. She looked at the guard who hadn’t voiced out his opinion on the matter of torturing someone and slowly nodded.
The guardsman’s eyes sparkled and her nodding made him more enthusiastic about torturing Yu Fangzhu. The task of guarding her has changed and now, he must let her see how amazing he is when he’s torturing people.
He already saw how brilliant she was in both provoking the prince while keeping a calm face as she peeled of the prince’s nails. That is why, the guardsman could only try to dazzle her eyes with his own torture methods.
“This is a knee breaker. One blow to the knee and the bones would break into tiny pieces. A person’s knee is the weakest point to a military men and best avoided to injure in the battlefield, or else, you would lose your life.” The guardsman explained as he held a thick metal the width of a thumb and length of a man’s palm. At the other end of the the metal was a sharp end that was similar to the end of an arrow. But here was something sinister about this tool.
While it looked normal and harmless unless someone stab others with it, the guardsman did not tell Yu Fangzhu that once the metal was thrusted inside his knee and the sharp end had come out of the skin at the back of his knees, the sharp end would suddenly bloomed into hooks then the guardsman would pull until the knees of the prince could no longer resemble like a person’s knee.
Lin Xiaofei listened to his words with an interested look in her eyes.
“I will slowly thrust this sharp end to your knees and…” He slowly pushed the sharp end into Yu Fangzhu’s knee.
The prince screamed at the pain.
The guardsman and Lin Xiaofei didn’t give him any reaction and chose to invite him as the guardsman continued.
When the other end of the metal were fully out and revealed from the back of the prince’s knee, a ‘click’ sounded as the other end bloomed like flower. The blood that accompanied it splattered behind.
Yu Fangzhu convulsed as the pain was too much for him to bear. He even lost consciousness during that time when that thick metal pierced his bones.
After the knee breaker rendered Prince Yu Fangzhu’s left leg useless now, the right leg was next.
Minutes passed like hours. Yu Fangzhu no longer screamed and thrashed around. He simply didn’t have the energy to do do anything but be at the mercy of the guardsman and Lin Xiaofei.
Seeing the light fade from his eyes, Lin Xiaofei tilted her head thoughtfully, waving her hand to stop the guardsman before saying, “Are you willing to talk now?”
Hearing her, Yu Fangzhu couldn’t move but he still glared at her.
“K-ki…Kill me.” Yu Fangzhu croaked.
Lin Xiaofei shook her head at his request. “Killing you won’t be a good thing for me. That is why before I came here, I prepared a lot of medicine that you could swallow to regain energy and health.”
Lin Xiaofei took a small pouch filled with a pill that could quicken the body’s ability to heal and keep his energy levels high.
Of course, she didn’t prepare all of this to help him nor let him think that she still has feelings for him. She did this to prolong her time to torture him.
She fed him the pill and let him slowly swallow it. Yu Fangzhu coughed severely as the foreign object entered his mouth.
Unfortunately, the guardsman was dissatisfied with this. The prince didn’t break when he had just broke his knee and don’t get a satisfactory result and impress the lady.
Now, that the prince recovered a bit of his energy, the guardsman’s determination to break the prince reached past the limits.
He bowed to Lin Xiaofei and loudly said, “Your highness, I failed just now and didn’t get him to open his mouth. Please let me do it again.”
Lin Xiaofei was shocked at the guardsman and awkwardly nodded. Does he have to be so passionate over this? She wondered as she saw the guardsman walking out of the room.
Wait… Why did he leave?
The actions of the guardsman puzzled Lin Xiaofei. She wanted to check what was wrong, but she stayed on her chair since she couldn’t leave this place until she got what she wanted from Yu Fangzhu.
After five minutes, the guardsman returned. This time, he didn’t carry a tray full of tools for torturing.
Instead, he carried something in his arms that looked like a fabric but also not quite a dress.
Upon walking closer to her, Lin Xiaofei finally got a better view of the fabric and couldn’t stop her mouth from falling to the ground.
She looked up at the guard and saw his expectant eyes as if he wanted a praise. But all he got was a muffled sound of gasp as Lin Xiaofei hadn’t recovered from her shock as she scolded him in her mind.
Why did this guardsman bring that here?!
…
Lin Xiaofei: ?!!!!
