The Birth of a Villainess - Chapter 313
The Northern part of the continent was where the Chu Empire and the border separating the kingdoms were located. Renowned for it being the place where beasts and wild animals breed and live, it was surely not a suitable place that most people would choose as their favorite.
However, it was the perfect place for an army to stay. The harsh cold, harsh wind that could make any man wish they didn’t sign up for the military, the lack of good food, the lack of beautiful women to satiate their pent-up sėxuȧŀ dėsɨrės, and the bloodlust that they would immediately fell and make their blood heat up. Indeed, the North was the best place to test a man.
Quickly after burning the letter to ashes, Lin Xiaofei got her own paper and started to dab the ink on it, writing vague words that any strugglers who tried to take the letter and read it in between wouldn’t understand.
With how many people watched and observed all their moves inside the Qu residence, it wasn’t safe for her to think that everything was safe and peaceful. In fact, since she married Qu Xing Xu and stayed inside the Qu residence, things have gotten more complicated than she thought.
The Empire has gone too far from its ideal kingdom that the citizens of the Zheng Empire hoped the first years it was established. The rulers continued to be wretched, and nobles were turning into beasts that ravaged and disrespected the rulers who gave them their positions. Not only that, there were still uncertain things that had been bothering Lin Xiaofei.
Kael.
Prince Zilin.
The Head Hunter.
The nobles.
And Qu Xing Xu.
And at the same time, her husband Qu Xing Xu’s secrets and his departure to the North.
Lin Xiaofei let the bird go after she tied the bamboo tube on its leg. She watched it flatter its wings and flew to the sky; its small figure almost disappeared from the horizon.
Lin Xiaofei breathed in deeply and sat on the bed. She changed out of her clothes and almost took them all off when she heard light footsteps coming in.
Her hands paused as she helplessly thought why she had to constantly change her clothes whenever this man entered her room? She didn’t even sense or heard him entering the room.
And just as she expected, Qu Xing Xu, who was with his brothers earlier, was now standing a few steps behind her. He was leaning against the wooden pillar and scratched his cleanly shaved chin as he appreciated the beautiful woman on her way to strip her clothes off.
“Why did you stop? Should I help you take off your clothes?” Qu Xing Xu teased her as he continued to watch. His eyes darkened significantly as his eyes landed on those white shoulders that stuck out from her robe.
“No.”
Lin Xiaofei quickly pulled up the clothes she hadn’t taken off yet to cover herself. A futile attempt since Qu Xing Xu had already seen her completely nȧkėd and knew every sweet spot of her body that she didn’t even know before. And besides, the clothes that remained on her body were thin and looked like they bȧrėly covered anything.
“Where are your brothers? Shouldn’t you be a good host and entertain them?” She asked and turned around to look at him, trying to distract him.
“I throw them out of the residence.” Qu Xing Xu nonchalantly said and shocked Lin Xiaofei.
Sure enough, when she heard him say that, she almost jumped in shock. “You did? Why? Did they do something wrong?”
Qu Xing Xu shook his head and slowly strode towards her. His eyes were glued on those extremely enticing legs that slowly stroked the heat inside him and awoke the beast in his heart.
“They don’t need my wife’s concern. So, don’t ask about them for now,” Qu Xing Xu said and stopped just when he was a step away from her. “Instead, why don’t we talk about how ŀėwd you are?”
“W-what are you talking about?” Lin Xiaofei stepped back.
But Qu Xing Xu erased the distance that existed between them, and suddenly, he grabbed for the small of her back, pressing her entire front to his ċhėst, while the other hand started to snake down to her exposed legs.
“Scent of another man lingered in your body. Is that why you’re changing your clothes?” Qu Xing Xu’s eyes were cold yet, the smirk on his lips was anything but.
His hand parted the robe and sighed deeper to touch her buŧŧȯċks.
“Ah!”
This man… How keen was his sense of smell that he could still smell something from her when her clothes didn’t even touch the prince? Was he a dog in his past life? Lin Xiaofei thought.
“Not going to tell me why you went to that half-dead prince?” Qu Xing Xu met her eyes, and Lin Xiaofei had to swallow hard as her anxious heart started to beat.
“I was negotiating with him.” She told him but didn’t try to go on the details.
Qu Xing Xu smiled at that, the coldness in his eyes decreased slightly. His hands gripped her buŧŧȯċks once again, stealing a loud gasp from her.
“Ah!” Lin Xiaofei stared at him in incredulity. “Stop doing that!”
“But you like it.” Qu Xing Xu chuckled. His ċhėst vibrated as he laughed. “Right? You mȯȧnėd so loudly when I did this last night too. Don’t you remember?”
Lin Xiaofei’s face turned almost as red as blood as she was too ashamed to admit to that.
She kept her mouth shut and stared at him in defiance.
But her glare was misunderstood by Qu Xing Xu as he thought that she didn’t remember.
“I see… You don’t remember. I guess as your husband. It is my duty to make you remember.”
And then, he started to touch her directly, fingers rubbing against her core, and made her see white as he continued.
