- Chapter 25:Prince Aerus Who Crawled Begging For Lia's Love
Feeling that death was about to come to her, Lia trembled with almost limp legs. Her weak hands suddenly squeezed Prince Aerus’ royal clothes. She didn’t realize that her current actions were a form of a woman’s way of flirting with a man.
But was it a form of seduction when Lia’s face turned pale, as pale as a freshly polished wall?
“I… what?” Lia seemed to have lost all her words. She managed to string a lot of words in her head. But none of them managed to get out. Like they were stuck in her throat and then burned by the smoke of fear spreading from her exploding heart.
She just couldn’t believe what she heard that she had been chanting Neil’s name all night and she was touching Prince Aerus like he was Neil. Lia had become a wild girl to a degree that made her even more anxious.
She quite understood how wild Prince Aerus was when making love, and she had a ‘compliment’ from him for how wild she was last night. Wasn’t that a threat to her self-respect and also to the safety of her womb?
“I touched you?” Lia’s voice shook violently when she said that. “And I thought you were Neil?” Madness was starting to fill Lia’s face, and maybe she would be very depressed right now.
“Yeah, you did. I don’t mind you touching me like that, because you were the one who had a lot of control last night instead of me.” It was like if Prince Aerus was the victim here. “But you screaming the name of another man makes me sick.” The circle of arms around Lia’s waist seemed to harden, and it made her wince and fear.
Lia looked back at Prince Aerus’s irises, where the red sparks spread and crawled more and more. Lia knew that she had to do something soon before it’s too late and then she would end up being an abused human being.
“I do not know. I wasn’t conscious. You know maybe I’m just being stupid beyond reason.” Lia closed her eyes, realizing how unclear her words were at the moment. She didn’t know where her words were going now. Finally, she bowed weakly. “Forgive me. I was unconscious. That means what I said is not true….. right?” Lia’s pupils twitched as she tried to persuade Prince Aerus not to throw a tantrum.
Prince Aerus snorted. He released his arm around Lia’s waist. Now he stepped back and folded his arms in front of his stout chest, covering the buttons of his royal robe made of diamonds and sapphires. “You think I’m stupid? People who are not conscious usually tell the truth. You love Neil and I don’t like that. You already have a mate, and you should give all your attention and love to your soul mate.” Prince Aerus lightly patted his chest.
Lia gaped, blinking a few times as she couldn’t believe what she had just heard. ‘Did Prince Aerus ask me to love and care for him?’ thought Lia. All of this shocked her, and Prince Aerus’s change in attitude was the most shocking.
Hamdi coughed again behind Prince Aerus. He was standing behind his white suit that seemed to glow when struck by light. He also could hardly believe his ears, that Prince Aerus had bluntly asked Lia to love and care for him.
Until finally Prince Aerus realized his mistake. He cleared his throat somewhat arrogantly and lifted his chin and face. “That’s your job, right? You have to do your job, and I will do mine too. I have to give you care and tenderness so you will easily get pregnant soon. I need a child to fill the throne in the future.”
And one thing that made Lia even more confused, was Prince Aerus’ mood swings. He was sometimes so kind and sincere, but sometimes so annoying and demeaning to Lia. Once again, at this moment, Lia felt that she was the only livestock that was only needed to give birth to offspring. It irritated her a lot, which she kept hidden and closed tightly.
Lia looked down, not going to show her annoyance. Now she just needed to go to work and came home as late as possible, so that she wouldn’t have to meet Prince Aerus. Lia also started looking for options so she could sleep in her friend’s house, and sleep in the same room with her. That way Lia was sure that Prince Aerus would never dare to appear and touch her.
Or the other option was that Lia must find another girl for Prince Aerus. Oh, there’s still so much she had to do.
“I know. I will do it.” Lia turned slowly and then walked out the door, feeling the relief creeping slowly as her legs came out. It felt so great and clean when she could close the door behind her and miss the moment to see the figure of Prince Aerus because that was exactly what she wanted.
While in Lia’s flat, Prince Aerus felt empty. He expected Lia would run over to him and hug him before she left. However, he did not get anything, except for Lia’s sudden and suffocating leaving. Moments later he tried to figure out his mistake, and he got tensed when he found out.
Prince Aerus immediately teleported to look for Lia. His sudden appearance almost gave Lia a heart attack, but he didn’t feel bad for her at all. The gentleness that had spread was now hidden and languishing, replaced by firmness and also a slightly haughty attitude.
It felt like Prince Aerus’ whole body and head were heavy, so annoyed that Lia didn’t give him the attention he wanted. Lia also didn’t pamper Prince Aerus, as he said before. He felt dumped by Lia and became the third option, while the first option was Neil, and the second option was work. Prince Aerus snorted.
“I’ll pick you up later and I’ll still visit you every few minutes. I will also take you today.” Prince Aerus was already walking right beside Lia, stepping firmly and his very sturdy hands moving slowly. Amid the morning breeze and the hot sun, he transformed into a real prince, who was so dignified and very handsome.
His golden hair was creaking softly, strand by strand, brushing against his forehead and his extremely smooth and soft skin. His very high nose gleamed above his soft, healthy lips. His eyes flickered, golden eyelashes that radiated beauty, and irises that were capable of killing women by entangling them too much and enchanting them.
Prince Aerus’ footprints were like the world and the universe, capable of emitting happiness and serenity. The stomping of his feet was soft and strong at the same time. Then if from behind, his figure was so intoxicating.
Lia was almost flabbergasted, she forgot who the man who had just talked to her was. She was like seeing a man from another world, filled with sweet beauty and brilliance. It’s like seeing a fairy (though that’s not entirely wrong).
The stomping and soft footsteps of Prince Aerus suddenly stopped. His glowing body amid the slums was now turning beautifully. His eyes swept across Lia’s gaze, making her nearly collapse from the shock.
Prince Aerus said, “Why are you still standing there? Let’s go, quickly!”
And a second later a burst of consciousness erupted and punched Lia’s face so that she would immediately wake up. In a few breaths, she felt guilty for Neil and made up her mind not to make the same mistake. She would avoid Prince Aerus who was bathed in light because his good looks and charm endanger Lia’s heart.
