The Bride of The Hexodar Kingdom - Chapter 4:Prince Aerus Didn't Like Lia
Prince Aerus teleported from inside Lia’s room. When he did that, he didn’t even know that Lia had fainted when she saw him teleport. Prince Aerus’s royal robes appeared along with his stout body, which was suddenly wobbling on the throne seat in the Elipsis Plane.
Hamdi who realized the arrival of Prince Aerus immediately turned his head. His shoulder-length silver hair was now flowing gently as his footsteps approached Prince Aerus’s position. “Prince? Was everything going well?” Wasn’t it a bit impolite when Hamdi asked that? He seemed to be interrogating the matter of the hot activity that Prince Aerus had just finished.
Prince Aerus’ hand which was covering half of his face he had now lowered. His towering back seemed to sink into his chair. His golden eyes gazed far away at the residential night scene on earth.
In his gaze, the earth seemed very gloomy and dead. Hexa was much better than earth. In Hexa, everything there radiated light, and the residence was more neatly arranged. Plantations, as well as greenery, could still be found in Hexa because some people built houses that floated above the ground. In addition, Hexa also had several floating plains in it, which looked like floating cities.
“I think so. I’ve done it, and her hair color has turned brown. Even after she saw me her hair color turned to gold,” said Prince Aerus. From his tone of voice, he didn’t seem too happy, and that surprised Hamdi.
“What’s the matter now, Prince? You’ve found someone who can awaken Mirah’s energy in your body, and it turns out that she is also your mate. I expect neither your hair nor hers to turn silver because maybe that hope is too far away. You must understand what I mean.” Hamdi scanned Prince Aerus’s hair. He didn’t find a single strand of silver hair.
In Hexa, a pair of Elfagos that were destined to be together would usually be able to change each other’s hair color if they had found a partner or fell in love with each other.
Then for the male Elfagos, there was no change in their hair if they had found a partner. However, they would still know who their mate was because the hair color of a female Elfagos would only change to a golden color if the two Elfagos met their eyes.
Then a change of hair color to silver would occur if an Elfagos fell in love with his partner. Otherwise, their hair color would still be gold. It should be noted that Elfagos could only fall in love once in their life, and they could fall in love with another Elfagos who was not their mate. If that happened then on the head of the betrayed Elfagos would grow black hair, which formed a fairly noticeable mane. This black hair color was slightly darker than the black color when Elfagos was a virgin.
Prince Aerus groaned. “I just don’t want to go any further, Hamdi. Usually, the male Elfagos will be very possessive of their mate, therefore they will mark their mate when they make love. But I can’t do that. I just need a child from her. After all our race is different, she is far below the Elfagos race. I don’t want to say this, but I feel so bad that the universe created such a lowly mate for me. I am a prince, Hamdi. If this is the case, I don’t know how mother and father will react.”
“The king and queen definitely won’t mind, Prince. If the mind then they will not order you to travel across the galaxy to find your mate or bride. They must also know that there are countless races in this universe, so I don’t think it’s a big deal.”
“But I still feel ashamed, Hamdi. And what’s worse is that I have to wait for her to get pregnant and give birth? Are humans pregnant for a long time? In Hexa, the girls will only be pregnant for about ten years right?”
Hamdi nodded. “That’s right, Prince. But humans only have a short lifespan right? Elfagos usually have a lifespan of at least ten thousand years, and I’m sure humans don’t. Maybe a thousand years they live, or maybe less. I will find out. So the bottom line is that with a shorter lifespan, their pregnancy period will also be shorter, Prince.”
Prince Aerus did not argue because he felt completely powerless. His hopes of becoming the king with the most favorable impression in Hexa’s history would surely be dashed because he had children of a lower class race.
But then he thought of something. If the marriage of the Elfagos race and the human race was carried out, then the mixed genes would shorten the life of the baby, right? Then what would happen to the future of the Hexodar Kingdom? Would the Qobra clan finally rule overall?
“Hamdi, is it impossible for an Elfagos to have more than one mate? I don’t want to have children with her. I want to get a mate with a race higher than humans.” Prince Aerus scrambled his head in frustration.
…
Lia groaned in a hoarse voice. She slept quite well last night even if she had a very strange nightmare. Even so, Lia would try to forget everything and plan an exorcism ritual.
“Hah, what a cheerful weekend morning. Finally, I can relax. But damn, why does my body hurt all over?” mumbled Lia to herself. She tried to get up but her lower body ached. She didn’t think too far, he crawled out of bed, and that’s when she found a scary thing.
“WHY AM I NUDE?” Lia screamed hysterically. She hurriedly looked for her clothes and found them on the floor. Then he also found parts of her body covered in red spots.
Remembering something, Lia immediately pulled the blanket covering the bed. Lia glared, and her face became so pale, as pale as her thin lips that were like fragile lines. Her petite and slightly too-thin body was even more concerning. She didn’t seem to be living well all this time.
“Blo – blood? Blood? Impossible. How could it be?” Then Lia immediately wrapped her body with her blanket. She was running like a mad girl around her room, checking every door and window. A moment later she fell to the floor weakly. “All the doors and windows are still locked. Then how did this happen?”
