The Bride of The Hexodar Kingdom - Chapter 42:Shameless Prince Aerus
Growling, Prince Aerus nearly blew up a city in anger. He teleported over and over again, consuming quite a bit of energy, exploring every place, every door, walking through it, and empty. He didn’t get anything.
He thought he might have forgotten a place. Trying to remember as hard as he could. His eyes that emitted a reddish flame swept across the strange, damp, and wet city scene. The smell of rain filled his nostrils, he got goosebumps at the thought of something.
“You are not anywhere. You are not here because you got caught in the rain, or were you avoiding me, or were you making out with Neil?” Prince Aerus’ voice roared, like a Borgon smashing the ground in Hexa.
*Borgon is a kind of strongest monster in Hexa, which has been living underground. Their existence seems like a myth, but they exist.
Prince Aerus’ royal attire was thick, emitting a rather unique luster when he was close to the rain. His hair was still dry, but he could feel some of his skin getting wet. It’s just a kind of his suggestion.
Finding nothing, Prince Aerus immediately returned to the Elipsis plane to meet Hamdi. His stiff and hideous face had ripped Hamdi apart even more as if Hamdi was ready to face execution.
Hamdi backed away, almost toppling over. Unable to stop himself from shaking, he glared and didn’t ask anything.
For the residents of Hexa, the nobility was the most respected, the most admirable, and also the most feared. Because they had everything: wealth, authority, and power.
The nobles in Hexa seemed to have had the advantage even since they were born. Usually, they would have more power than ordinary people. They seemed to come from the incarnation of God, who could do things that ordinary people could not do.
Therefore Hamdi felt shrunk. He was nothing. He was a weak Elfagos who came from a lowly clan and didn’t have much power within him.
The only power he had was the power of telekinesis, then flying at heights which were not to be proud of, and then understanding the constellations without needing to study about them. Therefore he was appointed a pilot for the nobles, because of his natural talent.
“She’s nowhere to be found. She’s gone, or maybe she’s hiding.” The corner of Prince Aerus’ lips twitched. A wave of anger had risen to his throat, and almost reached his face. When his face turned red, then he would be able to vent everything on something without thinking.
This happened a few days ago when Prince Aerus blew up several cities on earth. Hamdi had to calm him down. How troublesome!
“A few moments ago the earth was raining quite heavily, Prince. Maybe Lia is taking shelter somewhere, or…” Hamdi was silent, discouraged from saying anything. He felt that his words would only blow up more of the emotions wrestling within Prince Aerus’ brain.
Hamdi didn’t want to be the target!
Looking for a solution. The only way was to detect body temperature. But it was not effective because the only place they could go was Mr. Sony’s cafe.
Based on Lia’s explanation this morning, the cafe was a kind of restaurant. Hamdi could imagine how much human body temperature was hanging around there. It would be difficult to detect her.
If only they had invented GPS technology…
With some hesitation, Hamdi asked. Even though he felt awkward, he finally got up the courage. “Prince, may I ask you something? Have you marked Lia? I hope you don’t think negatively because I just wanted to remind you that if you just marked her, you’d find her easier.”
That’s true. The male Elfagoss who had already marked their soulmate would be able to become more dominant, either during lovemaking or some things. Like for example, when they lost their mate, either the mate ran away or was kidnapped, they just needed to summon her with a ritual.
The ritual was called Mantora, a ritual in which a male Elfagos stood somewhere holding a strand of their mate’s hair. then they would call the name of their mate repeatedly.
After that, naturally, their mate would get light and magnetism from the universe to guide her to return to her rightful place.
A snort was heard from Prince Aerus. But for a brief moment, his heart ached. “I can’t mark her. The human lifespan is relatively short, and I wouldn’t be able to do that. You know about it right?”
Hamdi nodded, trembling slightly, having just realized his mistake. Then he would secretly glance at Prince Aerus’s face more often and pay attention to his expression. It’s not funny if Hamdi tried hard to come up with a solution, then Prince Aerus beat him up just because his opinion was invalid.
A sense of relief enveloped Hamdi when he saw that there was no sign of Prince Aerus’ anger that he wanted to take out on the pilot.
“Is the temperature detector only able to track the temperature somewhere? Can’t it be used if it’s tracking an object?”
This was the first time Hamdi had seen Prince Aerus ask him, with a tone full of negotiation and also a little worried. He knew that Prince Aerus had asked his opinion several times when he wanted to run away from Hexa. But everything was different, all seemed sloppy and foolish.
“I’m not sure,” said Hamdi at last. Soon he was walking to the front seat of the plane, looking for something underneath. A few minutes later he came back with a device, like a stopwatch, only more shiny and very beautiful. “It might be possible to give it a try, Prince. Where can I put this thing?”
“In my royal clothes. Or it doesn’t work you can put it on my body.” Prince Aerus was already walking towards Hamdi, then stopped and stood up straight. His face was contorted with haughtiness, like the other nobles, who studied social etiquette excessively. His arms were slightly bent to the sides, and his eyes seemed to dominate.
Somewhat dumbfounded, Hamdi put the temperature tracking device on Prince Aerus’s royal shirt. At first, he was confused about where was the point he should put the device. Then after getting the direction of Prince Aerus, Hamdi glared a bit.
Yeah, that’s not surprising because Prince Aerus could only do intimate things with Lia. But still, for Hamdi, it was a bit embarrassing. He was a mature man, already had a wife and children. However, when he saw the nobles act indecently, for some reason Hamdi felt embarrassed.
It was as if Hamdi had indulged in his disgrace and was caught doing something wrong.
“Oh, it gets to work. Looks like this temperature tracking device also can be placed on an object to work. And how great you can find the exact point to get the most temperature absorption, Prince.” That’s a rather odd compliment.
Prince Aerus soared proudly, his chest puffed out, and his chin lifted even more. He said shamelessly, “Of course. Because today I hugged Lia over and over again. I love to hug her, and also feel her warmth.”
Hamdi almost coughed, almost wanted to throw up. The blush on his cheeks had disappeared and was replaced by strange colors. His eyes explained everything, that this was the first time he had seen Prince Aerus acting so shamelessly.
