Lia would barely blink if she didn’t feel her eyes starting to sting. She even started to gasp because she had unconsciously held her breath for too long. For a long time, Lia was lost in her confusion, trying to capture as much of the information as Hamdi had just given her.
“I…. I am… what?” Lia’s eyes that usually looked withered from tiredness had now become slightly rounded, becoming somewhat lively because she had been forced to be tougher than before or more focused than usual. Lia wasn’t too used to all of this, so she almost wanted to give up and go back to her intention to run away from Hamdi and Prince Aerus.
Hamdi took a deep breath, quite understanding Lia’s confusion. He briefly explained again who he and Prince Aerus were, where they came from, and their purpose in coming to earth.
Lia finally coughed, her chest felt sore and dry. Her hand reached for the nearest table to take the water bottle that always accompanied her while sleeping. After gulping it down Lia said, “Me? I am Prince Aerus’ mate? It must be just a misunderstanding.”
“I hope so,” replied Prince Aerus curtly. He folded his arms in front of his stout chest, covering a few buttons of his thick royal gown. He didn’t wear a sapphire blue shirt like his father, because traveling between galaxies made him wore different clothes, which were more friendly to the atmosphere of outer space, except for his royal robe which was still red.
Lia slightly glared when she heard Prince Aerus’ arrogant answer. His tone was indeed very arrogant and full of domination. Lia felt very small and also felt trampled even though she couldn’t do anything. “I know. I know that I’m just a girl who is… poor, ugly, and nothing special. I even never got the love I wanted from the guys who I liked. Okay, that’s not important. The point is that I believe that this was simply a mistake.
“If all this has to do just because Prince Aerus getting passionate when he sees me, I’m sure it’s just a coincidence. He could have been aroused last night. Then when he came down to earth unfortunately he only saw me not another girl. If only he saw another girl, maybe he would also do ‘that’ thing with her. I… I know that I’m not good enough to be Prince Aerus’ mate.
“So I beg you to give me a chance. Don’t expect children first from me. I… I’ll find the best and most beautiful girls in town, I’m sure I can do that. They can also give Prince Aerus a child.”
At first Prince, Aerus was interested in Lia’s proposal, because of his very strong desire to have children from other girls besides Lia. But that interest had disappeared. Now Prince Aerus wanted to leave Earth and tried to find his mate in other galaxies as well as on other planets. That desire was strengthened when he saw Lia’s weak and low self-esteem, so far from the attitude and impression that the nobles in Hexa always had. This was very embarrassing.
So Prince Aerus suddenly stood up. Behind his stern face, he kept a disgusted and condescending look at Lia. It seemed that Lia’s golden hair couldn’t melt her heart. “Hamdi, let’s continue our journey immediately! We’ll find another girl in the next galaxy. It’s still not over.”
Hamdi had almost prevented Prince Aerus if only Prince Aerus had not teleported too quickly and returned to the Ellipsis Plane. Finally, Hamdi went with him, but before that he ordered Lia, “Wait for information from us first! Never have sex with other men, and if you are pregnant then take good care of the baby.” Soon Hamdi’s body disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Lia’s shoulders fell weakly. Then she touched her stomach and bit her lip. She whispered to herself, “I wish that no baby would grow inside of me.”
Inside the Ellipsis Plane, Prince Aerus had already looked out of the window at the very crowded and untidy view of the city. It made Prince Aerus dizzy and nauseous. When he took a breath to calm his mind he felt Hamdi’s presence. He knew that Hamdi would give him another lecture.
Before that happened, Prince Aerus hastily interrupted him. “Don’t say anything! Just start the engine and move on! We will never know if it turns out that I have more than one mate.”
Hamdi did not immediately carry out Prince Aerus’ orders. He stood weakly helplessly. “If you just leave, without even giving any word to Lia, then what will you do if one day she is pregnant? The baby is your son, Prince. And that means he is an heir to the Hexodar Kingdom in the future.”
Prince Aerus punched the air, with that he applied energy pressure so that Hamdi’s body was dragged backward and hit the rudder of the plane. Hamdi grimaced and held his aching back, then checked the machine and sighed in relief that there was no damage at all.
Hamdi just realized where he was in the hierarchy of life. He was just a plane driver in Hexa who had less power than the nobles. He shouldn’t have gone against their every whim if he still wanted his life to live.
Finally, Hamdi fell silent. With his mouth still grimacing he immediately sank into the front seat of the plane. He turned on the engine, adjusted the navigation, and started his onward journey. Before Hamdi took off on the plane, he glanced at Lia’s flat. Hamdi secretly had a bad feeling.
The galactic journey of the two Elfagoses was finally done. Prince Aerus did not invite Hamdi to talk at all. He just stared blankly at the skyscape outside the window, which was always dark and sometimes bright when a star was visible, like an infinite void filled with ornaments.
Some galaxies form a very bright circle, orbiting in the right direction. Different galaxies would also have different planets and stars, all of which Prince Aerus had seen on his cross-galactic voyage about a thousand years ago, which he did to find his mate.
And now Prince Aerus was on that journey again, even though he found a girl who had been able to awaken Mirah energy in his body, and even though he found a girl that turned her hair into golden after seeing his eyes. It didn’t matter, it’s just an impulse from inside his heart filled with a high ego.
Meanwhile, in her flat, Lia was still frozen and shivering a bit. Several days passed with her focus starting to wane because she was haunted by the possibility of getting pregnant without a husband.
Lia became very depressed, especially when she remembered what kind of man had slept with her. On the one hand, Lia wanted Prince Aerus to be responsible if she got pregnant, but the need to run away from Prince Aerus was much higher. So Lia finally made a decision.
She quickly ran to her wardrobe. She pulled the suitcase from under her bed and then immediately dragged it to the closet and packed all her clothes. Lia looked wildly around, confirming the situation.
After it was safe, Lia breathed a sigh of relief. She said, “I must move from here immediately so that I can disappear forever from Prince Aerus’ pursuit.”
