- Chapter 15 Calmness Before The Storm Iii
Much to the people inside Mo’s mansion surprise, the couple seemed a little peaceful despite Gun Tei walking out because of annoyance whenever Lei Hua would tease him. As for Lei Hua, she was trying hard to avoid any interaction with Gun Tei and found that throwing shameless words towards him does the job.
As usual, she woke up at exactly 4:00 a.m. since in her past life she must wake up early to prepare for her morning greetings towards the Empress Dowager.
The twins seem to acquire this habit and will also cry exactly the same time she wakes up.
When she finished nursing her children she was surprised to see Gun Tei entering her room in a suit and tie it seems like he was getting ready to go to work.
“Going to work?” she asked while he was busy checking the twins
“En” he answered
Seeing him in his suit makes him look more handsome but of course, Lei Hua is ‘kind of’ immune to his handsomeness.
“What time will you go home?” she curiously asked since Gun Tei is the one in charge of changing the diapers and putting the twins to sleep. If he needs to stay up until late at night she needs to know earlier to anticipate and plan her schedule.
“Tomorrow” he answered as he fixed his necktie.
Lei just nodded and reached for her laptop not bothering to say goodbye to Gun Tei
Gun Tei paid it no mind and left. He had to hurry up because he missed a lot of things during his two-week break.
“Pei Jan” he quietly called the chief of security in his house. “Don’t let mother and Qing Yu in the house, Lei Hua is still in a delicate situation” he ordered.

Days passed without any complication since Gun Tei is at Country E for some business, Lei Hua busied herself with her company while taking care of her twins.
It brings her peacefulness to be able to grasp her freedom with her own hands.
But a famous saying did not exist for anything.
“There is always a strange calmness before a storm comes”
