The Buggiest System V1 - Chapter 106 Intimidation
Zhang Liu took out a handkerchief and wiped the blood off his hand as he looked at the weeping man in a gimp suit in front of him.
“Zhou Lei, stand up.” He grabbed the mask’s protruding tip and pulled up, removing the mask off his face.
Inside the mask was a middle-aged man with tears flowing out of his eyes. He had bruises on his face from the previous beating, and most of his teeth had already fallen out.
What Zhang Liu saw astonished him. ‘Why is this student bleeding and bruising all over? And is this even a student?’
Zhou Lei (gimp suit version) looked up and saw the now fearsome teacher staring at him with a shocked expression.
He raised his arm to block whatever attack the teacher was preparing. “N- no! I- I’m sorry! I’ll never do it again!”
Looking at the thug in the gimp suit, the students thought that his appearance came across as rather pitiful. Adding to that his broken hand then some students even felt sympathy for this person that previously attempted to kidnap someone…
“…Who are you?”
Contrary to Zhou Lei (gimp suit version)’s expectations, Iron Grip didn’t get physical again. Instead, he used his words.
Of course, he dared not diddle around for fear of Iron Grip grabbing him again. “M- my name is Zhou Lei, Iron Grip sir…”
Hearing his past nickname, Zhang Liu’s face twitched for a second.
The students did not know what the gimp suit thug was referring to… except for one.
Lu Xi, who had knowledge about the past and current matters in the gangster field, widened her eyes as she heard those two words together.
‘I- Iron Grip?’ She shivered upon the thought.
Grabbing her left arm with her right hand without her noticing was one of her habits when she got nervous. Right now, she did it just as her teeth started crashing against each other.
To add to her unease, Zhang Liu glanced at her area.
‘Were there any delinquents in this class?… Right, Lu Xi, that girl…’ A glint flashed across Zhang Liu’s eyes as he spotted her.
Lu Xi’s expression made it obvious to Zhang Liu that she knew something. ‘We need to have a good talk later.’
He resumed talking to the thug. “What else?”
Zhou Lei (gimp suit version) gulped as he opened his mouth again. The pain in his hand was nullified by his head being filled with anxiousness and fright.
“I- I belong to the Mu Shu Chang[1] group… in the lower ranks.”
“Mu Shu Chang, huh? It’s been a while since I’ve heard that.” Zhang Liu involuntarily revealed a bloodthirsty expression, sending countless shivers through Big Tree’s spine…
He was really close to falling into a coma!
At the same time, he wondered why he was left here in the first place. Was he abandoned, or was he deliberately placed here to monitor the target?
Either way, he felt indignant for being ditched in this hellhole with the infamous Iron Grip.
Zhang Liu was just about to continue when an alarm went off on his watch.
Ting-i-ling! Ting-i-ling! The sound rang across the entire room.
Without delay, the brutal aura leaking and surrounding the teacher disappeared. He turned around, walked to the table, and grabbed his things.
“Ah, I’m sorry. There’s going to be no reward for pointing out the mistake today, we’re out of time. Let’s continue this tomorrow…”
Zhang Liu’s amiable words seemed such a disconnect from his badass display earlier. Until…
“The gentleman over there, please come with me.” His expression turned serious as he glared at Zhou Lei (gimp suit version). “Goodbye, students. See you tomorrow.”
Even with his severely injured hand, Big Tree had no choice but to follow this intimidating teacher as he walked out of the door.
As the door closed behind him, the completely silent students roared in awe.
“D- did you see that? It seemed like it was straight out of an action movie!”
“Yeah, I did! Especially when he crushed his hand with just his grip!”
Everyone was more excited than shocked that they had such an awesome teacher!
Well, this wouldn’t have been the impression made on them if one of them was the victim… But since it was a bad guy, it’s all good!
The only people who didn’t share the sentiments of the class were Zhou Lei, who thought he got called earlier, Lin Guiying, who was ignorant about the matter, and Lu Xi, who still couldn’t properly process the fact that their new teacher was a famous delinquent…
The commotion stopped when their next teacher came in the door.
‘Shit, it’s Sir Chen!’
Like when Zhang Liu appeared, everyone composed themselves, only they appeared to be much more hurried than before.
It was reasonable since they knew his bottom line and was more familiar with his attitude than with the new teacher.
Let’s just say… his patience isn’t the longest.
Of course, as Chen Chen was right outside the door, he could hear their hasty footsteps as they made their way back to their respective seats.
He walked inside the classroom with a sigh.
“Listen, I can hear you outside.” Chen Chen had an exasperated look on his face. “There’s no point in hurrying.”
The students felt sweat dripping down their foreheads. ‘Damn it, is he going to get pissed again?’
Sensing their worries, Chen Chen shook his head. “Don’t worry. I’m not in a bad mood today.”
All of them let out a sigh of relief.
The class continued like usual.
…..
Ring, ring!
The dismissal bell rang, making the teacher who was lecturing annoyed. On the other hand, the students were overjoyed.
Of course, the teacher gave homework!
‘Homework again? So irritating!’
Zhou Lei stood up from his seat and approached Lin Guiying who was ready to leave the classroom without being noticed, just like before.
“Ying!” He placed his hand on her shoulder, giving her slight shock. “Let’s go home together.”
