The Ceo And Me! - Chapter 239
PRECAP
“I m Kian Randall, CEO of the Randall International Corp.!”
And the long silence that followed after his confession, it was eerie and for a moment, he felt like the old woman was not even believing him by then too.
“So does it mean…Tinsley is Tinsley Rutherford in real??…the heiress whose parents left her nothing…and you marrying her made your aunt, Valeria Wilson to disown you from the Wilson Oil company??”
Jessica implored and Kian just gave a short nod to all her questions. It was true. She just narrated their history together in a short note
“So basically I have been helping out an heiress all this along??”

The next morning, footsteps moved forward in the hospital lobby and opened the door of Lana’s cabin.
Madi was sleeping on the edge of the bed as usual with Lana sleeping peacefully on the bed.
The curtains were draped over the window blocking the sunlight from entering the VIP cabin.
The nurse came inside and John gave her way to get in. She walked towards the window and opened the curtains.
The sound of it woke Nadi up from her slumber. She had no idea when she had dozed off after crying for hours on her beloved’s shoulder.
She was afraid if she had drained Lana’s energy out for the day from having to console her all the time since yesternight.
She looked up to see the same nurse in the room, opening the curtains and the windows to let the fresh air inside.
She turned around and saw him, standing, leaning on the door frame. Their eyes interlocked but she was quick to part it away before it could linger too long.
She stood up and did not bother to greet him, instead nodded at the nurse in recognition and got inside the attached bathroom.
By then, John was used to having such cold treatment from her. From what he had come to know so far was that Madison Maria was one complicated woman…mostly who had no idea, herself what she desired or wanted??
From her red swollen eyes and pale face, he could tell that she had been crying longer than her whole life after he had left, not being able to listen to the painful words of his sister’s surrendering to the fight of life.
As Madi splashed the cold water over her face, she could not help but notice how at ease he looked than he had ever did a month before.
Ever since the admission of Lana to the hospital and her ongoing treatment there had been no peace and rest for their soul.
The hospital had become her home where she slept and woke up for another new day to assist Lana in her treatments.
John would come up in the earliest morning as if he would be waiting for the entire night, looking for the sun to be up and he could see his sister, being the first-ever visitor of the hospital for the day.
When she had come out of the washroom, Lana had woken up too. And the other nurse was helping her in getting fresh.
John was not there anymore and she sighed in relief. It was a regular struggle to look at him and not drag him inside her.
She had come to terms with her never fading lust for him while her undying, unconditional love for his sister existed together at the same time and same plane.
It was hard to come to terms with it yet somehow for the sake of the mental peace she did…it was not easy regardless.
Lana smiled at her and Madi smiled back, walking up to her side, she dropped a sweet kiss on Lana’s cheeks.
“Brother bought this refreshing white lily from Paris…his fancy-ass!”
Lana showed her the bouquet of the white lilies, resting on the nightstand.
Ever since Lana had been admitted into the hospital, her brother would come with different variety of fresh flowers to greet her in the morning every day.
“Of course, he did.”
Madi muttered, looking over at the lilies, blooming so gracefully. Lana peeled one from amongst the many and bought it close to her nose to smell it’s enchanting scent.
“His fancy-ass!”
Madi repeated Lana’s phrase, making the latter giggle and from the doorstep, he was watching the entire scene unfold before his eyes.
And he could not help the smile that graced his face. The love bond between Madi and his sister was something unique…the one he wished and admired if only he could have with not just another woman but the same one.
He was happy because she made his sister happy. He was happy for her but could not back away and say if he were not jealous to be in her position or be the one to whom Madi would confess her love.
Lana’s coughing bought him out of his reverie as he saw the nurse trying to calm down Lana’s cough, and Madi rubbed her back trying to soothe her body.
The entire moment was broken when the doctor entered with her team of nurses with reports and John too stepped inside.
“Good morning, Ms Lana, Madison…Mr. Kravinshky…”
The doctor greeted all of them. Madi took her position beside the bed, giving space for the doctor to come and examine Lana. John stood just feet or two away from her, stealing mini glances from time to time.
“How are you doing today, Ms Lana?? Feeling any better?”
The doctor questioned, taking Lana’s hand to check the pulse.
“Same old same old, Mimi!”
Lana answered, casually, smiling both at her brother and Madi, knowing exactly how much those words were going to trouble them the whole day.
“Well, everything looks as same old same old too here…”
The doctor, named Mimisa, short Mimi said, dropping Lana’s hand and stepping back up.
“I suppose Mr Kravinshky has not given you guys the good news yet!?”
Mimi implored and it made both Lana and Madi to look at each other, not understanding what the doctor meant by that.
There was some kind of sparkle in his blue eyes, she could see that and knew that something was up right up straight.
“Mr Kravinshky has found the correct donor for Ms Lana!”
And the very news was enough to make everyone’s face glow up. John was himself ecstatic when he got that news last night.
The donor was a brain dead man, who matched up for the sample of Lana. John had it sent all over the continent and was planning to send it to Asia in fact but the good news had arrived to him sooner than more later.
It was from Los Angeles and it would be bought to Richmond in a week time. If the extraction took a bit longer, it might take a fortnight not more than that.
John had himself made it clear to the hospital staff in Los Angeles to do it faster as they could. He had adopted the hospital in his charitable trust and it was enough to give them the boost.
“The sample would be up in best here in fourteen days time period or earlier with Mr Kravinshky’s efforts, the medical team at Los Angeles is working their asses off to be here…. Once it gets here, with a few documents to be signed from Mr Kravinshky, we could do the operation on Ms Lana.”
The doctor informed and it sounded like music to Madison’s ears. Lana had tears on her face and so did Madi but they were tears of joy…tears of hope.
“But not to demote any spirit, this operation is going to be hard and critical so until we are done doing it, we cannot give any feedback of hundred per cent recovery, but the news of getting a donor is towards a great start here…let us hope for the best!”
The doctor elaborated and although for a moment, the situation got gloomy but John’s determined comment cheered all of them up.
“My sister is a fighter, doctor…she will make it through but we want your team’s hundred per cent credibility. ”
Lana smiled at her brother. She was the luckiest sister to have a brother like him who had been through so much for her.
“We assure you, Mr Kravinshky, I and my team will give our better than best!”
Mimi said and Madison got closer to draw Lana into her arms. She had hoped but did not think the Gods would listen to her so soon.
“In this happiest occasion after a month of sadness, I also would like to propose.”
Madison declared, pulling away from Lana warm embrace. She got off from the bed and stood up straight.
Everyone looked at her, awaiting what proposal she was going to make. Lana’s eyes were trained into hers and John was looking at them like a hawk.
“I m the worst match ever to come and say this to you but still…will you do the honor of marrying me Lana Delta Kravinshky?”
