‘I think I’m having déjà vu.’ October thought to herself. Why she thought so was because she did this to Lexus a little while ago when that crazy woman planted her face on Lexus’ hand.

She just nodded her head and got her handkerchief to wipe her hands and patted the areas in which Josh had touched as if some germs that came from him had clung onto her clothes. Well, she was not exaggerating…so maybe she was being overreacting. But the thought of someone else touching her was unnerving even if that someone was someone like Josh, a transvestite.

She was not discriminating Josh; however, at the end of the day, Josh was a man.

Lexus hugged October and acted as if he wanted to put his scent to her, like an alpha dog wanting to dominate all of October and not let other male dogs to wag their tails and howl affections at his mate.

As soon as the scene of October being touched so casually by Josh emerged in his mind, his anger seethed out of his body like a black mist that formed into that of a fierce tornado and slammed on Josh hard.

Josh, on the other hand, had just found himself be violently pushed aside as if he was some dirt. He was so hurt and felt wronged.

‘What did I do?’ He felt like crying.

The scene of intimate affection between October and Lexus slammed on his face resoundingly. The two’s savage behavior of seeing him as if he was some sort of a dreadful bacteria was so much for him. He trembled with mixed emotions. It was that of hurt, sorrow, humiliation, and anger all mixed into one.

‘Damn it! Damn this infuriating couple!’ He bit his lip as the scene the couple before him continued with their sweet interaction that left him a single dog to eat some vinegar.

But could Josh scold Lexus? Yes! He can! But only in his thoughts though. ‘If not because you are my boss who pays me so well and is super handsome and hot to boot, then I would have left for another company to work for. But still, why rub your “relationship goals” in front of my pretty face?!’

Everybody has one. He hasn’t found his partner yet.

‘Yes, my future man will soon knocking on my door and sweep me off my feet and carry me out into the our future full of satisfaction and bliss.’

Lexus nonchalantly looked at Josh who was busy brainwashing himself. His gaze still carried a hint of anger and coldness in it which instantly made Josh flinch and burst his bubble in such a scary way.

“You seemed too lax in your job, Josh.” Lexus started; his voice booming and travelled into Josh’s ears that made him shiver in place.

Somehow, a high sense of crisis was felt from his guts. He had great trust with his guts and right now, he knew that something bad was going to happen. Knowing this made him so edgy as he looked at Lexus with a cold and unfeeling gaze as if was looking at someone yet not.

“Boss, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am working very hard ah.”

October looked at Josh who seemed like he was about to cry and then to Lexus who was looking so apathetic about the pitiful Josh. She sighed.

‘Why is this man so cold and ruthless to his employees when it is clear that they were all loyal to him?’ October thought to herself, realizing that she married a difficult and troublesome man.

“Yes. I’m glad you know that.”

‘When in the world did I say that I am a very idle person? I am busy, okay?! Well, maybe I was occupied with wandering around the city, specifically to bars, to catch some fishes…but still, I am also thinking about some designs.’ Josh felt like his blood surged up but he forcefully swallowed his anger even if it would cause him internal injuries.

‘Boss, you’re so ruthless. I’m crying.’ Josh felt like his insides twisted. Then, his eyes turned to October, curious. ‘Judging by how close the two were and their obvious flirting, this lady could very well be the future lady boss.’

Soon, his eyes that was looking at October curiously turned to that of worship and begging, begging to save him from the dark clutches of her evil…*cough*…handsome husband.

October, feeling the intense gaze on her, turned to look at Josh but it did not even take a few second before her vision was blocked by Lexus’ large hand. She looked up and locked eyes with him, looking at him with raised eyebrow.

“What are you doing?”

“Blocking your vision.” He pursed his lips before continuing, “Don’t look at other men. Only look at me.”

His voice was overbearing, but his words were worst. There was no other man who was as controlling and demanding as he was. But this was not a problem to October. To her, a person who had received this kind of attention and love, was a first and had developed her own understanding that this kind of “love” was normal and so was not bothered at all.

“Okay, I won’t.” She agreed immediately.

‘If you want to display your love, don’t display it on me! Go out!’ He thought to himself while gritting his teeth.

“…you’re still here.” His voice was full of thorns as it wrapped around Josh and pricking him in every way possible. In other words, Lexus wanted Josh to scram.

But this was Josh’s store!

October could no longer remain silent at how cold and merciless Lexus was and chose to finally step in and help the poor man who was almost on the verge of dropping onto his knees and beg for Lexus’ mercy. That was the least thing she wanted to happen at all.

“Husband.” She softly tugged on Lexus’ tie and said with her mellow voice tinged with bashfulness, “I’m hungry. I want to eat.”

‘Let’s go out of here now and let Josh go.’ Was what October thought to herself.

Although she felt shy about saying “husband” out loud and in public no less, she also felt proud of it. There was a boost of confidence in her as she buried her blushing face into Lexus’ c.h.e.s.t.

Lexus’ eyes that was unfeeling while looking at Josh had turned to gaze down on the blushing woman in his arms. Even though her face was currently buried in his c.h.e.s.t as if to hide of red face, his ears were in full view and pink.

The light in his eyes brightened and softened. His face was warm and a doting smile was plastered on his thin red lips.

“Okay.” He soothingly agreed with a soft chuckle. He stroked her hair before landing a kiss on her hair. But he felt that that was not enough.

Lexus slightly pushed October before pinching her chin and tilted it up and softly landed a kiss on her sweet peach-like lips. While kissing her, a satisfied smile spread on his face.

‘I just love her so much.’ Lexus felt like he was overwhelmed with emotions that he was about to burst. However, he was not troubled by this at all. He was happy to be crazy in love with his wife.

He finally pulled and gently said, “Where do you wanna eat?”

October’s face turned red. She felt her face becoming too hot. “Just…anywhere.”

“Anywhere?” He raised his brow at her, amused. He already knew that October was trying to divert his attention from Josh. She was just that kind. And that was what made him spoil her all the more. “Okay, I’ll take you to somewhere you’ll surely love. You have to eat a lot.”

October frowned. “Are you trying to make me fat? He had already said that I look fat.”

Josh, who had deliberately reduced his presence until there was nothing left, jolted. He saw that hateful slender finger of October pointing at him.

‘Sh*t! I’m screwed.’ He wanted to cry.

“So what? Remember that you are not the only one eating.” He said while pinching October’s nose as if to punish her. “My wife should eat more. Don’t make your husband worry about you.”

While in thought, a soft smile made it’s way on her face making her glow a gentle hue. It was that of a motherly smile, dazzling.

“However, didn’t you just sent me a fruit that triggered my s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e smell and had made me puke?” She challenged, making Lexus almost choke in his own spit.

Yes, he had completely forgotten about that incident early this morning, making him cough awkwardly to hide in embarrassment.

“Let’s go eat.” He said and pulled October outside of the store, completely forgetting someone.

Josh had literally turned into a chameleon as he melted into the background, not daring to be the receiver of Lexus’ ire. Good thing that that lady was there which really saved him.

“Wait…” He suddenly paused as he noticed something from their conversation a while ago. “They were calling each other “husband” and “wife.” Boss is…they’re married?”

Josh’ eyes widened in shock as his gaze darted on the two upright backs of the couple by the door with his mouth hanging open. This…this was such a surprise to him! He was in disbelief. He could not believe it at all.

As soon as Lexus and October stepped out of the store, flashes of light surrounded the two. A lot of people with cameras on their hand and microphones directed at the couple instantly made Lexus face to darken. He quickly pulled October behind him and shielded her from the people that had bombarded them. He was so unhappy that the corner of his lips dropped and creases formed on his head.

“President Song, is it true that you are already a married man?”

“How long were you married?”

“When did you meet?”

“Why did you keep your relationship from public? Are you perhaps having an affair?”

“Are you prepared to face the consequences of keeping your status considering that you are the most popular bachelor in the city that was sought after by a lot of ladies which was also a reason that your company had prospered until now?”

“Do you have other girlfriends aside from the one that you are with?”

One of the reporters with quick eyes noticed the plaster on Lexus’ face and her eyes sparkled with fervor and gossip as she enthusiastically asked, “That plaster on your face, is that a scratch that came from your partner that caught you cheating? Did this happen just now? Can you tell us your other woman?”

But of all the reporters there that concentrated their attention on Lexus, one was more curious on the person that Lexus was shielding from them. He then pushed others on the side and went to ask loudly, to drown other reporter’s and paparazzi’s voices.

“Is the lady that you are protecting behind you the lady that is rumored to be your wife? Why are you hiding her? Are you ashamed of showing her to all of us? Or is it perhaps that you have a secret that you are afraid to be disclosed to all of us here, especially to your woman behind you?”

The more they asked and the more heated their questions were and the more excited they were, Lexus’ face became colder and colder until his veins were popping on his head that was about to burst in irritation, frustration and anger.
