Sarah nods seeing Maya’s confident words. She speaks “Should I leave? I will keep this in your Chamber”.

Maya muses “What’s the hurry? Let me tease him! Let him see how beautiful my new bow is!”.

Sarah scoffs in an ushered voice “This is my first time seeing a Queen boasting about her Bow instead of her wealth and husband”.

Maya snorts “Wealth is nothing in front of this bow, Sarah. Look at how marvellous this bow is! I would give all my fortune to get this bow in my possession if I am rich. But I am not that rich”.

Sarah declares looking at Maya boringly “You are now rich, Maya. You are the richest Queen in the Four Realms. Are you even aware of that fact?”

Maya chuckles “Your Four Realms is not the world, Sarah. We might be the poorest in the world when it comes to wealth. And as for comparing all this wealth to my country… They are just dust”.

Sarah gasps “How rude! Don’t you repeat those words in front of Royals!”.

Alex speaks interrupting  “The Head Servant is right, Your Highness. Listen to her”.

Maya snaps at him harshly “Her name is Sarah, Mister. Don’t ever mention her as a servant”.

Alex “…”

Sarah grabs Maya’s hand and squeezes it.

Maya speaks looking at her in a determined tone “What? I don’t want anyone to mention you as a servant. You are my friend and they should know”.

Alex is intrigued about their relationship and apologizes eyeing Sarah carefully “Then I will apologize for my ignorance, Your Highness. I was unaware of Your Highness’s thoughts. This servant begs forgiveness”.

He never once removed his eyes from Sarah while she was busy looking at Maya and begging with her eyes to calm her down.

Sarah’s eyes met Alex’s when she heard his apology. She looks down and declares “Then I will leave you alone”.

Maya stops her softly “Wait. Let him see The Bow I got”.

For some reason, she wants to share her happiness with Alex too. Even though she didn’t like him mentioning himself as a servant, she doesn’t speak anything yet.

She can’t expose her thoughts yet otherwise, Alex would start ranting about how great he is! She mentally rolls her eyes as she can’t take that! Let him beg for her mercy more times than hear him boast about him!

Sarah bows lightly and stands in between them.

As soon as Maya opens the bundle in Sarah’s arms. She asks looking at him smugly “How is it?”

Alex’s eyes zeroed in shock “…” Is it that what I am seeing?!

Maya smirks arrogantly as she is too happy seeing his shocked face. She giggles “That’s mine!”

Alex snapped his head so fast making Maya even happier. She is satisfied with his reaction. So, she looks at Sarah and speaks wiping the bow carefully “Keep this in a safe place. Wouldn’t the table near my bed be fine to keep this?”.

Alex wanted to kill someone now and his eyes are getting dark gradually “…”

Sarah bows as she sneakily looks at Alex in doubt “Yes, Madam. I will do as you said”.

‘What is this official doing with Maya? Isn’t he the one who created trouble for Maya previously? How come they become this close? And why is Maya trusting him? Even though she says that she doesn’t trust him, I know she does! What if he is here to trick her and is conspiring against her?’

Maya nods and closes the bundle carefully and Alex’s was in utter disbelief!

‘What the heck is this Bow doing in her hands?!’

His previous anticipation of talking with her completely vanished.

Maya who was about to speak is stunned to see him already walking away towards the corridor.

“…” W-Why is he leaving already? Didn’t he come here to talk?

She blinks confused.

She shrugs seeing him leaving and sighs looking around. Her face lost the smile now and she starts walking hurriedly towards her chamber “Bhommi should be fine”.

Maya opens her chamber door and sighs relaxed as soon as she sees Bhommi sleeping soundly. Maya closes the door behind her slowly and walks towards her not making any noise.

She reaches the bedside and searches Bhommi’s face and hands for any injuries. But Bhommi was covered completely like a cocoon within the quilt as if she was a newborn baby. She indeed looked like a silkworm as she slept. her sleeping face is oozing innocence like never before.

She feels guilty for doing this to her as she noticed how vulnerable Bhommi looks while she is sleeping. She is curled into a small adorable ball. Perhaps she is sleeping like this because she is covered in this quilt? No. The quilt looks quite big. She should be suffering.

Maya tilts her head suspiciously ‘Who covered her like this when she was sleeping? Maybe the Crown Prince did? Ah! If that’s true… he indeed did a good thing. She looks comfortable…’

“How long are you going to stare at me like that?”

Maya is surprised by Bhommi’s tiny voice. She didn’t expect her to speak at all! Maya didn’t think she would feel so happy hearing her voice!

Maya asks looking at her face intently “Are you alright?”

Bhommi nods subtly and her eyes are almost closed. She is barely trying to keep her eyes open.

Maya sits next to Bhommi and asks softly “Are you hurt somewhere?”

Bhommi shakes her head in denial and speaks in between her yawns “That Kind Prince is quite skilful. Otherwise I would have gone to hibernation for months”.

Maya chuckles pinching her cheeks “Have anyone told you how adorable you look when you sleep?”.

Bhommi pouts “My father only would taunt me for being careless. He doesn’t like when I overuse my powers”.

Maya speaks softly “Thank you” and blurts biting her lip “And sorry”.

Bhommi blinks repeatedly as she tries to be awake so that Maya could spend more time with her “For what? Oh! For helping that Prince? Don’t worry, Sister Maya. Wait. Why sorry? Didn’t you come here to see me?”

Maya clears her throat “Nothing… I just..feel bad for your condition. ..”.

Bhommi gasps and points at her accusingly “You visited her before coming here, didn’t you?!”
