The Craftsman - Chapter 468 A Shock
Pepper Potts was an icon to girls everywhere being the CEO of Stark Industries, and she was taking a break from paperwork to go over some emails. It was partially to make sure nothing important got sent to the wrong email, but also to see if anything interesting was sent.
So as she sat reading through emails of people asking for the company to promote someone’s product or other such things, it came as a surprise for her to see one of the highschool level intern sheets had been sent in already. She had set this up with Tony’s help because she thought it was possible there would be unpolished gems in the schools.
What shocked her the most was the score given to the student. It was marked at one hundred and seven percent, with a note that said the proctor couldn’t assess the bonus question properly but it looked well thought out to them, as well as the perfect score throughout the rest of the test.

It didn’t take Pepper very long to print the rest sheet out and begin walking towards Tony’s lab. She knew he had been joking when he put in the bonus question but Pepper had decided it would be worth it to make it possible to become someone’s intern if they got it even remotely correct. The thing is that the question was something Tony had made so she couldn’t answer it as accurately as him, but it looked correct to her, which meant he had to see it even more.
The door to the lab opened the moment she stepped out of the elevator letting her know that Tony knew she was on her way. Stepping in pepper looked around for a moment before finding Tony playing with holo-screens.
Walking over Pepper quickly greeted him quickly before saying, “Tony I need you to take a look at this, it looks correct but it’s under your expertise.”
Tony smiled smugly at that before getting a quick glare from Pepper making him lose his smugness. Sighing he grabbed the papers and took a look. He was surprised to find that it was one of the intern tests that he had approved of. Raising an eyebrow at Pepper was enough to ask his question.
Pepper rolled her eyes before saying, “The bonus question, that is the only one I don’t know the answer to.”
Tony smiled a different kind of smile at that and softly said “Because only I should know the answer to that question, but it used to be three people.”
Pepper sent him a questioning look but asked him to look at the question already. Sighing Tony opened the test to the last page and looked down not expecting it to be correct. The moment he saw the answer he immediately shot out of his seat and grabbed pepper by her shoulders and said “Where did this come from?”
Pepper surprised by his reaction said “It came from Midtown Tech, a boy named Peter Parker. What happened, Tony, why did you react so harshly?”
Tony smiled brilliantly and said “I think he might be my son.”
