well, that was the first and the worst night of my life. as I was outside and I was walking down to the bus stop that has a bus to downtown, I waited there. There were not many people right now and I think I liked peace. It gave me time to think as I was replying to the scene from last night.

I pulled my hoodie even more as I was staying still on my feet as I let the stranger went away. The footsteps stopped and when I turned to look, I was slammed into the darkness and the last thing I saw was glossy blonde hair.

Lucia Ricci’s POV

“well, she was easy to find,” I said as I was hauling the girl in front of me. The woman that I believed will be the death of Adam Florenz. Seriously, that guy never stopped to get me to prison.

“go to the lab. I wanted to experiment on her but first, set up my camera and contact Adam Florenz,” I said as I was looking at her pretty face that was bruised because I forgot to tell my creation that she was fragile like me. Eh, she could only break a nose and lose some teeth, at least.

“where will you want them to set up, Mistress?” My minion asked me as I was looking at her fragile face.

“Well, bring me the extreme and I wanted to get the most angle possible,” I said as I was nodding at my other minions to bring it to the special room with a live feed. It will out Adam at no ease after he learned about this matter. I smiled at the thought alone.

Adam Florenz’s POV

“you heard what?!” I shouted at Dean as he was informing me that Fauna was not at work as I told him to check. She did not turn up for work and right now, I was furious. no, I was beyond that I could not think straight. All I see was red and I wanted to hurt people right now.

okay, maybe this mood swing has to do with the inappropriate timing of that scumbag that I was about to enjoy my lovemaking with Fauna. It was the best moment of my life and it was ruined by that dip shit. I went to track it but it was gone and I’m sure Fauna was pissed off right now.

“find where she was or I will have your head for lunch,” I hissed at Dean as he whimpered. I never show my anger before at this station as I was kind of new. But this news about Fauna was gone, I will the fucking devil if I have to.

“Florenz,” the captain called for me as I shoved Dean back into his seat. He whimpered like a wet dog that he was. I scoffed before I went to see the captain. I took a deep breath before I knocked on the door and I walked inside the office.

“you wanted to see me?” I asked him as he ushered me in.

“come, sit and brace yourself,” he said as he was putting the laptop in front of me. The sight was not mistaken. It was Faun alright but she was weak and tied up. Who would do this to her?!

“where is this?” I asked him as I looked at him.

“don’t know yet? well, I have to be better than that,” I said as the captain looked at me. I simmered down before he sighed.

“Diaz? He works on this?” I asked him as I don’t think he had that many skills.

“well, actually that partner would be me,” a familiar voice came from behind. I closed my eyes as I cursed under my breath.

“You got to be kidding me,” I said as I turned around to look that Danial was leaning against the wall. How come I did not notice him before?

I sighed as I looked at the captain for some help, explanation maybe.

“well, it seems that you know each other already.” The captain said as he motioned to us.

“very, and to think all those years together,” Danial said as he slings his arms around my shoulder as he was breathing down my neck. The captain might get the wrong impression.

“get off me you imp,” I said as I was frowning at him. He had the nerve to laugh. To LAUGH!

“Okay, enough with the pleasantries. now, will you tell us more about your finding, Mr. Summer?” The captain asked Danny. He smirked before he shoved the files onto the desk and started talking.

“I have been following Lucia Ricci for quite some time now. She’s smart, beautiful but also devious. She will do anything to gain power in America after she failed in Europe, thanks to our chap here,” he said as he was slinging his arm around me again. I shrugged him off before he chuckled.

“So, I have some deduction and thanks to Ms. Fauna Kent’s help—”

“you stole my translation?! I cannot believe it,” I said as I was running my finger through my hair as I scowled at him. Danny just smirked at me.

“I borrowed it and thanks to her, I have uncovered the real motive that Lucia Ricci had along,”

“it was to destroy Kent Tech and that started with Fauna Kent, daughter to CEO Scott and Stacy Kent,” he said with all seriousness now. Blood drained from my face.

“you mean—”

“yes, Fauna was supposed to be coming home alone when she had to go to her house but you showed up for that dinner date, I supposed,” he said as he was smirking at me. He knows everything about my moves.

“but with extra juice on the side. so, I have contacted one of the personal colleagues that I know genetic mutations and she stated that she was working on the antidote if we can have a sample of the serum that Lucia used,” Danial said as he looked at me and captain.

“and the location of Ms. Kent?”

“It was near the abandoned warehouse, near the port in the city. I think it was near the Space Needle,” Danial said as he looked at Captain. For someone that works as a PI, he can pass as a spy for the government.

“so, Agent Summer, I believe that Lieutenant Florenz will need your help,” the captain said as he was nodding at Danial. He replied to him.
