The Crystal - 54 The life that I sough
“It’s time to use my heavy move,” Zohaifa said to himself.
A golden glow started to appear from the palms and received by the knuckles. The light slowly engulfed the fist, then the wrist, and gradually the whole hand up to the elbow.
By then, so much Aura emitted from Zohaifa that all of them stopped fighting and stared at Zohaifa preparing his move.
“So, that’s Zohaifa’s chosen evolution,” remarked Red-1, “Orange smoke was a mixture of plasma and gas, two sibling states of matter. Yellow splash mixed liquid and gaseous state, two separate and distant states where the gaseous state in the middle. And now he evolved it. The most distant states possible: Solid and Plasma combined. I wonder what he will name it.”
“Have a taste of my ‘Golden Punch’,” Zohaifa threatened Lava Gladiator.
“Oh, even the evolution is seen in the naming and color,” further remarked Red-1.
But after a few minutes, a great weakness became visible.
“Come on. Aren’t you up for a blow to blow fight?” shouted Zohaifa again.
It became clear that Zohaifa can’t move while charging the attack.
‘Red push!’
A burst of red gas went out from Red-1’s palm to push Lava Gladiator towards Zohaifa. But the Lava Gladiator resisted trying to dig his toes to the ground. He turned towards Red-1 and Oar only to be pushed back with a dropkick from both. It was enough to push himself to Zohaifa. Unfortunately, Zohaifa was already exhausted. Lava Gladiator laughed with a little bit of relief and kicked Zohaifa out of the scene again.
Zohaifa fell on the wall of another house with his head first. The back of his head banged to the wall causing him to drift to unconsciousness.
Meanwhile, Oar tried Orange smoke several times on the Lava Gladiator. But it was ineffective. Red-1’s attacks were not useful anymore.
“Dang it!” exclaimed Red-1 and Oar in unison with almost no energy left to fight.
Lava Gladiator slowly walked towards them with a wide smile. A small insignificant rock hit his chin.
“Who are you?” asked Lava Gladiator to a kid, probably of 7 years.
“I am a member of the village you carried massacre upon,” she said with confidence.
A heavier stone was throne to the back of his head; an adult standing with anger-filled eyes. Another man arrived with a staff; another with an axe. Lava Gladiator breathed in and came out with ‘Lava Spit.’ But suddenly cement jumped from the ground and sealed his mouth. It was Mr. Sutton’s friend.
“We cannot sleep with all this ruckus. Might as well join our grandchildren,” said Mr. Sutton. Lava Gladiator broke the cement with a slap and charged towards Mr. Sutton.
“Where am I?” asked Zohaifa to himself, “On Earth?”
He slid his vision around the environment. “I know this street. I go to school every day this way.”
His attention was caught by a boy with a school bag, walking with his chin tucked.
“That’s me. It was when I first learned about avoiding shots in the chin. I tucked my chin the whole day.”
Zohiafa rushed to his younger self.
“Excuse me,” Zohaifa said.
“Wow! You have good muscles.”
“What way to start a conversation! Now, I am sure you are me.”
“What?”
“Nothing. Just answer me one thing. What kind of life did I seek?”
“How would I know?”
“Sorry, I mean, what kind of life do you seek?”
“Don’t ask that. I am pretending to be grateful for my life. Dad told me to always be grateful because it is written in the Quran or something. What kind of life do you seek Mister?”
“Right now, I am seeking your life.”
“What? What is going on with your life that you are seeking this boring life?”
“What can I say? So many stressful events. Starting from Planet X to Flirtic trying to beat me up to the trial of proving myself to Lazuli to this crazy form I do not understand in Crazy town to Lava Gladiator about to kill me and so much more in between.”
“Hey, do you really want to know what life I seek?”
“Yes.”
“Promise me you won’t tell dad.”
