The Crystals - 70 Zohaifa vs IV
Zohaifa approached IV in a blink with the help of ‘Lightning Velocity’ and started pouring some combos on him. Zohaifa’s elan movements indicated his eagerness for this fight. But IV blocked each of his punches with his palm. A ferocious exchange took place.
A furious exchange of blows between Zohaifa and IV, with the latter barely escaping from an uppercut by a swift back step. Zohaifa sensed the opportunity for a follow-through, fully intended to capitalize on his enemy’s loss of momentum. But he failed as vine walls sprouted from the earth, just in time to block a thrust to his opponent’s neck. He deftly turned his feet and make a dash to outrun the vine’s edge, hoping to caught IV but alas, he was too late. IV had conjured up a shield of vines ready to meet his blows.
The vine shield had gaps which caused him to track Zohaifa. Then all IV needed to do is stay safely in there and trouble Zohaifa with his vines spouting outside.
Zohaifa, much like Flirtic dashed around to save himself from the vines. But unlike Flirtic, he suddenly jumped high with a plasma ball in between his hand.
‘Yellow Splash!’ Zohaifa used
It, being liquid, entered IV’s cage through the holes. IV used a cross-arm block to avoid the ‘Yellow Splash’ to get to his face. Other than that, ‘Aura Armor’ gave him extra protection.
But the ‘Yellow Splash’ burnt the vines which tore off when Zohaifa jump through it. He landed with a downward punch on IV. But IV threw an uppercut at the same time. IV crushed on the ground but threw Zohaifa at a distance simultaneously. Both got up again for more.
“That kid has a good fight IQ. He predicted that Zohaifa would come back with a punch. Not only that, even after taking the ‘Yellow Splash,’ he managed to maintain his composure and successfully landed a counter,” Lazuli remarked.
“That kid is so dangerous. How many moves does he have in his arsenal? I thought all he could do is create lightning. Now plasma too?” Luna remarked.
Zohaifa began to circle IV throwing ‘Lightning Shooters.’ But IV created a thick vine that blocked Zohaifa’s attacks. But Zohaifa suddenly fell. It was those legs trapping vines again. Zohaifa destroyed it with a plasma blast and rolled forward before getting up to avoid the other vines trying to trap him.
‘Lighting punch!’
At a glance, Zohaifa covered all the distance between him and IV with his fist pushing in IV’s gut. He got his hands out and followed with an uppercut.
IV’s knees started to buckle. But he forced himself to retreat backward. Zohaifa tried to follow through with a punch but vines emerged behind and pulled him backward.
“Hey, Luna. Since when were you training IV? How does he have such intense control over his vines? How can he control them so efficiently even when he is hurt? As if the vines are controlling themselves,” Lazuli asked.
“Actually, I didn’t train him for long. Just a year maybe. I never needed to teach him to use his elements. He always controlled vines as if it were a part of his body,” Luna replied, “Talking about that, how long have you been training Zohaifa?”
“Hmm… for like 2 months,” Lazuli replied.
“Only? He shouldn’t even be able to surpass Marium!” Luna said.
“Well, he is my student after all. Plus he seemed to have suffered from rough experiences before he started training with me. On that note, he didn’t surpass Marium. If there wasn’t any tournament rule, Marium would have used her ‘Light Velocity’ to get to a distance and avoided the attack. But at the rate, he is improving, he might actually surpass her sooner or later.”
