The Daily Life Of The Scum - Chapter 78 Day 77
(A/N: sorry for the late update :/)
Upright Sect.
“I claim I know everything, but…” Mu Jun said and sighed as he and Fei Huang went out of the Mystic Palace where Fei Lin and Xi Ling’s marriage is held.
The ceremony just finished.
“What?” Fei Huang asked and stopped.
Mu Jun looked at him. “I think only you is the one I know everything of.” He said and stared at Fei Huang, then Fei Huang’s body.
Fei Huang’s face went red as he felt like Mu Jun’s stripping him with those burning gaze of him, making him feel hot.
Yes. Mu Jun is really stripping him through his eyes.
“Not here.” He whispered when Mu Jun slipped his hand inside his sleeve. “Tell me. What’s in your mind?” he asked, referring to why Mu Jun’s sighing.
“Undressing you and do you here again and again, right here right now, not minding everybody ” Mu Jun whispered in his ears.
Fei Huang gulped when Mu Jun pressed his body against him. He could feel him rock hard.
“Jun…” he murmured, suddenly breathing hard. His throat is dry.
Mu Jun chuckled as he licked his ear. “I’ll tell you, since I’m so loving your reaction ” he said as his breath fanned Fei Huang’s neck.
Fei Huang groaned, feeling himself got hard. He hit Mu Jun, his face red. “Tell me.” he told him.
“It’s Yu Sheng.” Mu Jun answered and told him what he and Yu Sheng talked last night.
“… so you thought Yu Sheng is just lying somewhere, sleeping in someplace for a hundred years?” Fei Huang asked, referring to when Mu Jun thought Yu Sheng’s gone after his parents died.
Mu Jun nodded. “I didn’t see him in the cave, nor his parents… ouch!” he cried when Fei Huang punched him. His nose bled.
A vein popped in Fei Huang’s head. “You’ve been with them for a long time. You think those poor parents would just leave their child out cold before they’d die?!” he asked, mad, as he frowned at Mu Jun.
Mu Jun completely misunderstood everything of Yu Sheng, that’s why he told Yu Sheng’s memories of his friends are made up. But, Yu Sheng really is awake.
When did Yu Sheng woke up, though… it’s a question nobody knows, since they still haven’t asked. Nor did it cross their mind… yet.
Like what Fei Huang just did to him just now, Yu Sheng also punched Mu Jun in the face last night.
Mu Jun… the man who knows everything yet an idiot in the area of parenting.
Yu Sheng sighed when he saw Fei Huang mouthing off at Mu Jun, whose nose is bleeding.
“Serves him right.” He muttered, frowning, as he led Zu Zhe inside the hall.
“You deserve a slap, too, from Xi Ling.” Zu Zhe told him. “You doubted your memories of him and Fei Lin.” He told him.
Yu Sheng frowned, then turned to Zu Zhe. “Zhe, you too?” he asked, pouting. “You even left me out cold last night. Heartless.” He said, crocodile tears forming in the corner of his eyes.
Zu Zhe’s brows raised. “If I didn’t leave you out cold, would you have cleared the misunderstanding?” he asked back.
Yu Sheng frowned as an answer. “So, you accepted Fei Huang’s offer to be his disciple?” he asked instead as they lined up with the guests.
They’re going to greet and give their blessings to the newlyweds Fei Lin and Xi Ling, his best friends.
Zu Zhe stopped. Yu Sheng who’s pulling him by the hand also stopped. They’re in the middle of the wide hall.
The newlyweds are in the second floor.
“Zhe?” Yu Sheng called and turned to him. He saw him silent. “What’s wrong?” he asked and stood in front of him. “Zhe?” he called again.
“… you know I’m not of this world. How could I accept his offer and be his disciple?” Zu Zhe asked and looked at Yu Sheng. “I’m not a delusional maniac that would take everything for granted. Even though how much I’d want to stay here, since this is the world I wanted to live in that’s why I wrote this, but…” he said and tears formed in his eyes. “I myself knows that I’m different.” He told him.
“Zhe ” Yu Sheng called.
Zu Zhe ignored him. “That’s why, one day…” he said, didn’t continue.
Yu Sheng stared at him. “… you’ll leave this world?” he asked, his face dark.
Zu Zhe didn’t answer.
“You’ll really leave?” he asked again.
Zu Zhe didn’t answer. “… what would you do if I will?” he asked back. He looked at his hand Yu Sheng’s holding. He smiled bitterly and pulled his hand.
But, Yu Sheng just held his hand tight. His eyes went wide and looked at Yu Sheng, just in time Yu Sheng raised his face and looked at him.
“I will follow you.” Yu Sheng answered and looked at him in the eye. “If I can’t, then I ” he said, his face serious.
Zu Zhe’s eyes went wide, shocked, when Yu Sheng pulled him in his arms. “You ” he said, wide-eyed, when Yu Sheng hugged him tight.
“If I can’t follow you, then I’ll make you not leave here.” Yu Sheng said and lifted his face. “I’ll give you a reason not to leave this world.” He told him as he caressed his cheek, staring at his face.
“What’re you…” Zu Zhe said.
“I’ll give you a reason… not to leave me…” Yu Sheng said as he stared at Zu Zhe’s face, tears forming in his eyes. He closed his eyes slowly and softly bumped his forehead in Zu Zhe’s forehead. “I’ll make you love me, so that you won’t leave me…” he told him and opened his eyes. He cupped Zu Zhe’s face as tears fell from his face. “Zhe…” he called as he leaned down and kissed him.
Zu Zhe’s eyes went wide when Yu Sheng’s lips met his. Yu Sheng… he thought, shocked, as he felt his heart filled with overflowing joy. Tears fell from his eyes and he closed his eyes as he cupped Yu Sheng’s face.
He kissed him back, making Yu Sheng shocked.
They both opened their eyes as they stared in each other’s eyes, reflecting each other’s feelings towards one another.
“Zhe…” Yu Sheng called, surprised.
Zu Zhe smiled, his tears falling on his cheeks. “Seems the method you thought of making me not leave here is the right answer.” He said and laughed when Yu Sheng’s eyes went wide, shocked. “What? What’s with that react mm!” he said when Yu Sheng seized his lips again.
He just chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Yu Sheng’s neck when Yu Sheng wrapped his arms around his waist.
Even when they heard a loud applause raining on them from the guests who are watching them since earlier, they didn’t stop and just continued kissing, like they’re the newlyweds. They actually outshone the newlyweds of today.
Seems like the guests now know on who they will give their blessings next.
“Huh? They’re clapping. Did something happen inside?” Lei Ling asked as they all sat on the grass outside the hall where Fei Lin and Xi Ling’s wedding was held.
He bit the bread Wen Yan fed him. They, together with the newlyweds’ close friends, all are outside and are waiting until the other guests finish giving the newlyweds their blessings.
“Hmm… should we follow our junior brothers, Wen?” Xie Lan asked Fang Wen, smiling brightly.
Fang Wen’s face went red. “We’re already married, aren’t we – ?! Ah.” He said, then stopped. His face went redder when he saw their ‘children’ plus one (Wen Yan) are looking at them.
Xie Lan laughed. Fang Wen hit him out of embarrassment.
“Should we follow your parents’ wedding?” Wu Bai asked Feng Mo and smiled.
Feng Mo’s face went red until he exploded. Wu Bai chuckled and pecked Feng Mo’s lips.
Li Tian’s face is red even though Chen Han is still not teasing him. They got married few months ago, with the blessing of the whole Chen family.
“Hmm~” Sun Yi said, chewing the bread Wu Yuan is feeding him. “Shall we get married, too, Yuan?” he asked and looked at his lover.
Wu Yuan turned to him. “We’re already married.” He told him.
Lei Ling, Li Tian and Feng Mo choked.
Sun Yi laughed. “Oh, right. We are.” He said, laughing. “Everything’s the same even if we get married or not.” He said and smiled sweetly to Wu Yuan.
Wu Yuan froze as he stared at Sun Yi.
“What happened to him?” Feng Mo asked.
“He’s like a statue.” Lei Ling commented.
Sun Yi laughed and kissed Wu Yuan. The three shou choked, their face went red as their gong gave them water.
“Geez…” Luo Shi sighed, his head aching because of his disciples (Sun Yi and Wu Yuan).
Ming Ye chuckled as he rubbed Luo Shi’s temples.
On the other side of the reception area.
“Hm? A-Jing kissed you?” Chen Qing said after Wu Fan finally told her what happened between him and Chen Jing few days ago. “Finally!” she said and sighed, relieved.
“Ah?” Wu Fan said and blinked, dumbfounded by Chen Qing’s reaction.
Chen Qing turned to him. “What do you mean, ‘ah’?” she asked. “That guy’s been in love with you before he even married me. Well, he’s been in love with you way before we even got married.” She told him. “Heck, he even cried on our wedding day, until the night, because he can’t marry you!” she added, frowning, remembering her wedding day.
Wu Fan’s dumbfounded face went red, his eyes are wide open. He looked stupid as he stared at Chen Qing.
Chen Qing continued, ignoring Wu Fan’s reaction. “Geez. That guy already knew you wouldn’t notice his feelings towards you, but he still waited ah?” she said when she saw Wu Fan turned. “Sect Leader?” she called. “Where are you – ?!” she said, shocked, when Wu Fan suddenly flew away and vanished as fast as a lightning.
Well, he literally flew like a lightning, startling the guests.
“Geez…” Chen Qing said and pouted.
“Mother.” Chen Shen called her.
Chen Qing’s face went bright as she turned to her long-lost son. “Ah Shen!” she said and hugged him tight.
Chen Shen chuckled, then pulled Mu Xin. Mu Xin smiled, shy, as he respectfully bowed to his now mother-in-law.
His eyes went wide when Chen Qing hugged him tight, too.
This scene earned a laugh from Wen Yan, who’s watching them from afar together with the Newfound Sect, which Chen Shen will be joining to later.
The sect is close to the Demonic Land, where the Demonic Sect and Mu Xin is.
Ho Yue looked around and smiled as he saw the lively scene.
“Shifu.” Gong Xian called.
Ho Yue turned. “Xian-er.” He said. “How’re you and your fellow disciples?” he asked.
They are helping with the wedding’s preparations and ceremonies.
“We’re perfectly fine, shifu.” Gong Xian answered and respectfully bowed.
Ho Yue smiled. “Remember this well. If one of you gets married in the future, at least you know and could help with the wedding preparations of your brothers (fellow disciples).” He told him.
Gong Xian stared at him. “Does shifu has someone who he wants to marry?” he asked.
“Hm?” Ho Yue said and think. “Hmm… for now, there’s none. Shifu is still young, you know?” he said and laughed. “I even barely manage you all.” He said and sighed, pitying his disciples because he doesn’t spend much time with them.
“Then, I’ll help shifu.” Gong Xian said.
Ho Yue’s face lit up, an idea popped in his mind. “Right!” he said and smiled. “If Xian-er will help me, then that makes you my other half.” He joked and laughed as he patted his disciple’s head.
“… shifu is fine with me?” Gong Xian asked, his face serious as he stared at Ho Yue.
His eyes are deep, holding different but intense emotions, as he looks at his master’s smiling face.
“Hm?” Ho Yue’s brows raised, then he laughed. “My life would be better with Xian-er.” He said and smiled as he messed his disciple’s hair.
But, Gong Xian didn’t mind his now unruly hair. As long as it’s his shifu…
“Then ” he said as a smile formed on his lips. ” I ask of shifu to wait until I become a man worthy of shifu.” He said and bowed. “I say… after 5 years.” He said and looked up to Ho Yue who’s still smiling stupidly while laughing.
Right now he’s 16. 4 years are just a mere passing time for them, cultivators.
“Is shifu willing to wait for me in 4 years?” he asked and smiled brightly to his master who’s clearly oblivious of his disciple’s feelings.
“4 years? That’s fine!” Ho Yue answered and heartily laughed.
He didn’t notice he fell in a sweet trap covered with honey made only for him by his very own innocent yet actually twisted disciple. He made a promise without him knowing.
After 4 years, Ho Yue will be forced to marry his disciple. Will he (forced)…?
Promising Land.
Wu Fan is flying in his fastest speed towards the Promising Sect. He’s not chased by demonic beasts, but the reason why he’s flying this fast is more terrifying than the fiercest demonic beast.
He found out that his childhood best friend Chen Jing, has long been in love with him.
His face went red as he closed his eyes tight, forcing the thought out of his mind. As a result, he crashed on a wall and fell.
“Wah – !” he exclaimed as he fell.
So pathetic, and shameful! He thought as he fell. For a sect leader like him… he thought and sighed as he slowly closed his eyes.
“Wu Fan!!” a familiar voice called.
He felt somebody caught his hand. He slowly opened his eyes.
“What the heck are you doing?!”
It was Chen Jing. He saw he’s holding his hand, preventing him from falling.
“… Chen Jing…” he called. His face went serious as he moved his other hand.
His sword flew towards him. He immediately mounted his sword. He looked at Chen Jing, his face blank. He didn’t notice it’s in his (Chen Jing) house that he crashed.
“Wu Fan…?” Chen Jing called, puzzled, as he looked at Wu Fan’s expression.
Wu Fan looked at his hand that’s Chen Jing still holding and he pulled his hand back. “Don’t touch me.” he told him.
Chen Jing’s forehead knotted. “What the heck is wrong with you?” he asked as he leaned on the window frame. “I’m here in my house, resting because I caught a cold, then suddenly woke up when something crashed on my wall…” he said, then looked at Wu Fan who’s flying on his sword outside. “… and saw it’s you. How the hell did the sect leader crashed in a wall?” he asked. “Or you intended to crash on my wall?” he asked and grinned, obviously teasing him.
But, Wu Fan just looked at him coldly. He saw the robe of Chen Jing is open in front, revealing his muscular chest. “You said you caught a cold yet you dress so thinly… and openly.” He told him and looked away, his face covered in frost.
“Ah ” Chen Jing said and immediately fixed his clothes.
Wu Fan scoffed. “Take your time to rest, Chen Patriarch. So you could immediately give your blessings to Elder Fei and Elder Xi.” He told him, referring to Fei Ling and Xi Ling who got married today.
Chen Jing’s brows raised, finally noticed the coldness of Wu Fan. “Oh? Sect Leader, what’s with this coldness?” he asked. “The position of sect leader finally got in your head – ?” he asked, teasing him again.
Wu Fan turned to him. “Then take this (sect leader position) back.” he said. “This is rightfully for you, the Chen family.” He said.
He’s referring to the Chen family who’re supporting the sect but not taking the sect leader position when they could because family is more important to them.
And so the sect leader position fell to the hands of the Wu family, the second biggest supporter of the Promising Sect, as well as the second biggest powerhouse family. (Chen family is, of course, the first)
Chen Jing stared at him. “What’s gotten to you all of a sudden?” he asked when he saw Wu Fan’s red eyes. “Are you… crying?” he asked, surprised.
Wu Fan’s eyes went wide and he immediately looked away. But, his tear that fell didn’t escape Chen Jing’s eyes.
“You’re crying… why?” Chen Jing asked and stood up. The last time Wu Fan cried was when his wife died.
What could it be that made Wu Fan cry?
Wu Fan turned, his back facing him. “Nothing.” He answered. “Get well, Chen Patri wah!” he exclaimed when Chen Jing suddenly jumped from his window and grabbed Wu Fan, making him almost fall. “What’re you – ?!” he asked, surprised.
“Tell me why are you crying, or I’ll let go.” Chen Jing, dangling in Wu Fan’s hand, said and loosened his hold in Wu Fan’s hand.
Wu Fan’s eyes went wide and immediately held Chen Jing’s hand by his other hand. “Idiot!” he yelled. “Where’s your sword?” he asked.
“… you could just drop me back inside my room.” Chen Jing said and looked at Wu Fan’s expression. When Wu Fan didn’t answer, he smiled. “So it’s me.” he said and sighed. “I caused you pain again. Alright.” He said and lowered his head. “I’ll pay with my life ” he said and let go of Wu Fan’s hand.
Wu Fan’s eyes went wide. “Jing!” he called and jumped down his sword as he reached Chen Jing’s hand.
Chen Jing’s eyes went wide and he immediately grabbed Wu Fan. He covered Wu Fan’s head and hugged him tight. He waved his hand. His sword flew out of his room and he grabbed it.
He sighed, relieved, when they almost hit the ground. “Geez. You’re really a pain ” he said and looked at Wu Fan when he noticed Wu Fan’s hugging him tightly. “Fan?” he called. “Ah.” He said, frozen, as he looked at Wu Fan’s hair.
He remembered when they were young, they call each other by their first names. When they grew older, they added honorifics to each other’s name as a sign of respect. When they became older, they called each other by their full names because of their position title.
He smiled. “Fan. Let go.” He told him as he tried to free himself from Wu Fan’s hug. “Fan ”
“I won’t.” Wu Fan said, his face buried on his chest. “Or you’ll be gone again.” he said and sniffed.
Chen Jing smiled, already noticed the front of his robes are wet. Wu Fan’s crying.
“I won’t do it again.” he told him.
“… you promise?” Wu Fan asked.
“Mn.” Chen Jing answered. He smiled when Wu Fan slowly let him go. “Fan.” He called when he’s not looking at him. “Can I take this as a ‘yes’?” he asked and smiled, referring to Wu Fan hugging him.
Wu Fan turned to him, his face covered in tears but he’s glaring at him. His nose is red and he’s still sniffing.
So cute…! Chen Jing thought, holding back his laughter.
“No.” Wu Fan answered.
“Ah?” Chen Jing said and blinked.
“This is my ‘yes’.” Wu Fan said and pulled Chen Jing’s head to him and kissed him.
Chen Jing’s eyes went wide, shocked. He saw Wu Fan’s closing his eyes, feeling the kiss. He smiled as he wiped his tears and kissed him back.
The salt tears are nothing compared to a very sweet kiss.
