The Dead Zone: Maya Stela - C67
I whined, and all the limbs that could be used to struggle were tied firmly to the ground. He could only helplessly wait for the end of this forced journey.
When I arrive, I will definitely take revenge on this, provided that this trip does not drag me to hell. I was dragged to some kind of gas chamber, but there was nothing I could do about it being pierced through the heart by ten thousand arrows or being swallowed by a ferocious beast.
The more he thought about it, the colder he became. His four limbs that had given up struggling started to flutter again, but he was completely unable to contend with that strength.
After an unknown period of time, my back and feet started to feel cold. As the water grew lighter, I felt the air and skin of my thin clothing touch, as if I were in an icehouse.
My limbs and chest had been abused senseless. The light on both sides began to brighten, and the force that was pressing against my limbs suddenly stopped.
It looked like they had arrived. I didn’t dare to get up immediately, but there was light coming down from the top of my head. It wasn’t a small focal point, it was more like an entire side of light.
Am I dragged onto the land? I immediately rejected the idea and crawled forward, my hands and feet numb, my movements slow.
This waterway was difficult for me, but it wasn’t dangerous. My body was the same height as when I came here. There were two branches in front of me. My heart tightened as I turned my body to look at the side. There weren’t any dangerous items here. It was so bright that it was like a public square.
My flashlight had long since fallen into the water, but my backpack was fine.
There was no light in my hand, but I could see it clearly. The light was coming from above. I raised my head to look at it in shock. There was a huge glass screen on top, and in the middle of it were countless star charts like dots, exuding soft rays of light. In the middle of the stars that filled the sky, there were soft halos of light surrounding the edges, fusing together to form a resplendent picture in front of my eyes.
The scene was too wonderful for me to be shocked. His gaze swept from left to right as he saw a huge hand holding up the sky.
At first, I was shocked. Only when I noticed the layer of fluorescent light seeping through the gaps of my fingers did I know that this was not the case. The hand had not touched the sky. I looked down along the palm of my hand. A statue stood there, its head covered in a layer of light, like a god.
Heavens!
The ratio between me and the statue was the same as a mouse would give me. Because of the height of the statue, I couldn’t see my face, but I could see the robes of the High Leader.
It was a woman.
The discovery made my heart pound, and I found it hard to breathe. Then I found out I squeezed my left breast too hard.
I looked around again. There was nothing here but a circle of huge stone tablets, and the statue was not in the middle of the hall, but to the left of the entrance.
I carefully stood up and heaved a sigh of relief as I wasn’t attacked at all. It was only then that I realized I had arrived at the dark cave from which I had come when I came. However, although the two roads separated, they did not diverge in the same direction. They similarly flowed into the cave, and the thickness of the water on both sides did not decrease at all.
I couldn’t run around, I looked around, and I saw that the waterway I had just come through was running in a wide circle around the whole area. The four suckers had pulled me to the top. However, there is no connection between the two ends of the seal. If I were to turn around just now, as long as I were to climb over a piece of rock, I would be able to reach the two paths that led to this beginning. I took a detour.
