The Demon Venerable’s Wistful Desire - Chapter 5
A note from the Editor: Those who joined us with Peerless Immortal Surrounded by Demonic Disciples, will know I take the liberty of spicing things up if I feel it would have been the author’s intention. I do this with the aim of giving us what censorship takes away, and along the lines of what I think the author would want if they weren’t censored (at least, I hope so!). The point is, that it should be reasonably seamless and you should enjoy the novel as the author’s work, not mine. Needless to say, this is NSFW. If you do not wish to read these scenes, I have provided a summary in the Editor Corner and we’ll see you in Chapter 6!

“I…You’re really okay with this?” Chi Muyao swallowed dryly after taking the pill, still worried.
“En.” Xi Huai simply closed his eyes. He couldn’t move anyways, so he might as well let the other person do as he wished.
“Okay. I can do this.” Chi Muyao tried to encourage himself before he gently climbed onto the stone bed.
He did this simple action with the determination of a person prepared to die.
When Xi Huai heard his self-encouragement, he almost exploded with anger.
He wasn’t some man-eating beast waiting to devour Chi Muyao with his blood-stained jaws wide open, okay? He was just a person trapped here.
When he reached over Xi Huai to undo his robes, Chi Muyao paused after opening the innermost layers, Xi Huai showed great restraint by not moving a muscle.
He had long since been prepared to feel the other’s hands on his body, but he didn’t expect Chi Muyao to gather his spiritual energy and press two fingers to his chest.
A warm flow of energy gradually travelled through Chi Muyao’s fingers downwards, stimulating that part of Xi Huai’s body, until he was stiff and aching. Pleasure started to course through him, along his dantian and into the throbbing flesh between his legs. It was almost too much to bear, and the sensation was so intense, he felt like his consciousness left him.
When he returned to his senses, Xi Huai’s eyes suddenly snapped open as Chi Muyao’s touch left him. Did he know what was happening to Xi Huai? Was a blush staining his cheeks at this moment? Alas, although they were on the verge of ‘doing it’, he still couldn’t see a thing.
After a period of rustling around from Chi Muyao, he then lightly began his ministrations.
Xi Huai focused his mind through the arousal clouding his senses. As he concentrated, he could feel every slight move the other made.
Chi Muyao gradually approached, taking off his clothes layer by layer. His gentle demeanour carried with it a sense of shyness.
Chi Muyao’s cultivation method involved using weakness to counter strength and softness to melt resistance.
His touches were light and soft as he straddled Xi Huai, clearly trying to have as little contact as possible, even though they were both nearly naked.
The tentative brush of his fingers against Xi Huai’s straining hardness caused him to muffle the sound which tried to burst from his throat. Then he felt Chi Muyao move. He bit his lip as tight heat encased him. He was so focused on the contact he wasn’t sure if the other made any sound as he impaled himself on his length.
As the physical connection was established, the roadblocks along the way disintegrated under the inexorable movement. The resistance to invasion melted into soft water, stirred until their completion
Xi Huai originally thought he would be disgusted by the feeling of being inside the other man. But this wasn’t the case…He even felt a bit of regret when Chi Muyao first started cultivating, it was clearly hard on him.
However, he moved instinctively, thrusting his hips and seeking the pleasure which flowed through him, as he helped Chi Muyao to completion during this session.
He wasn’t sure if Chi Muyao had absorbed all his spiritual energy, for the other cried on top of Xi Huai until he fainted at the end.
Collapsing abruptly, Chi Muyao’s head thudded against his chest.
Chi Muyao’s cheek pressed against his chest, the tears on his face staining his disarrayed robes.
Xi Huai didn’t know why Chi Muyao was crying so hard. Even while unconscious, he still seemed to be whimpering.
All he could do was continue to lie on the stone bed, waiting for Chi Muyao to wake up.
After ascertaining that Chi Muyao was fine despite falling unconscious, Xi Huai swallowed dryly. His tightly clenched fists finally relaxed. He slowly breathed out the breath he had been holding in.
He never thought that one day he would be reduced to a cultivation tool for someone else. And for such an extreme method as well.
But he was feeling strange after completing this first session. The pleasure had been undeniable, but the sense of peace afterward left him shaking.
He tried to look up every so often to see how Chi Muyao was doing. He actually started to worry if this dummy knew how to cultivate properly. Was he having a qi deviation?
Xi Huai could smell the faint scent of blood in the air, overshadowed by the strong aroma of Photinia flowers石楠花 – apparently it smells like semen??
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photinia. He worried that Chi Muyao’s cultivation wasn’t going well.
After a short while, the smell of Photinia gradually faded away, probably because it had been absorbed by Chi Muyao.
Only the faintest of metallic scents was left.
Chi Muyao woke up after about an hour.
He quickly pushed himself up to a sitting position after recovering and realising who he was lying on. He first helped Xi Huai tidy his clothes, before fumbling around in the dark for his own.
When he was done, Chi Muyao took the initiative to apologise, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to pass out.”
“It’s alright.” Xi Huai’s reply was a little hoarse, as if his throat was dry from holding back his cries.
Chi Muyao very attentively went to Xi Huai’s side and fed him a cup of water. Only then did he retire to a nearby small, stone mound. He sat down with crossed legs, flicking his sleeves behind him before placing his hands on his knees, palms up. While making the first lotus hand sign, he said to Xi Huai, “I’m going to start cultivating to absorb the spiritual energy you just gave me.”
“En.”
“It might take longer than I think. I absorbed a lot more than expected.”
“…”
Chi Muyao didn’t say anything more as he started to meditate.
He was completely focused on his task. There were no wayward thoughts clouding his mind. After all, the two of them were only working together to further his cultivation, for mutual benefit and nothing else.
Xi Huai couldn’t do anything but wait.
There was no way to keep track of time in this cave. He estimated about ten days had passed before Chi Muyao drew his knees together and exhaled a breath of turbid air.
Xi Huai looked over in Chi Muyao’s direction. He heard him say, “I’ve absorbed everything.”
“How much progress did you make?”
“Wait a moment. I’ll make a rough estimate.”
Chi Muyao ran a few mental calculations based on this first attempt. He stated, “The absorption will be slower at the beginning, but it’ll become more efficient later on. The time frames can also be shortened. So we might just need to cultivate 132 times minus one, or 131 times. We’ll need 944 days, or two years and 214 days.”
“So many times? Can’t it be less?”
“I’ll try to reduce the number if I can. It might go down as I practise the absorption process. I’ll try to keep it around 120 times, okay?”
Xi Huai’s eyes went dark when he heard that number. It was so high. He didn’t know if he had the patience to endure that long. But in the end, he could only relent. “Fine.”
“Still, thank you. With the spiritual energy from our previous attempt, I feel energised. I’m not as tired as before.”
Chi Muyao walked up to Xi Huai and used the Simple Washing Technique.
Xi Huai breathed a sigh of relief at finally being clean.
He couldn’t disturb Chi Muyao while he was cultivating, so he’d just been lying on the stone bed these past ten days with no one to talk to. It was absolutely suffocating.
Xi Huai had never been the talkative type before being locked up, but holding all his words in for so long changed that.
He asked, “Did you feel a burning sensation in your body while absorbing my spiritual energy?”
The Hui Dragon Flames rampaged in the bodies of him and his father, a backlash caused by the spiritual contract with the Hui that tormented them incessantly.
Miraculously, after some of his spiritual energy was siphoned off by Chi Muyao, some of the Hui Dragon Flame impurities were also purged from his body.
It was like the energy that caused him to lose control had been filtered out, leaving only the part that could help raise his cultivation.
This was an unexpected boon.
“No.” Chi Muyao answered truthfully, “What we absorb is your essence. We then purify and use the spiritual energy contained within. It’s different from how spiritual energy is directly channeled into you.”
“If you can deal with the side effects of the Hui Dragon Flames this way, then why didn’t my father?”
“I think that…my shijies and shimeis wouldn’t be able to do this. I’m a man, so I wouldn’t be burned due to the excess of yang energy in my body. If they were in my place, they would definitely sustain injuries or even be killed outright.”
Come to think of it, before he met Chi Muyao, there was probably no one in the cultivation world who knew that the He Huan Sect was hiding a male disciple.
Not like Chi Muyao left the Sect much to begin with, since he managed its internal affairs.
And Xi Huai’s father was probably unwilling to cultivate with a male He Huan Sect cultivator to begin with. He might’ve chosen to torment his son even if he knew.
Chi Muyao got on the stone bed again and said to Xi Huai, “Can I start again?”
“En.”
As the saying goes, it’s a lot better the second time around. Things went better for Chi Muyao than the first time.
But he still ended up sobbing his heart out. His weeping made Xi Huai frown and purse his lips.
Chi Muyao had to hold onto the stone bed for a long time before he could stand. At least he didn’t pass out again.
He struggled to his feet and asked Xi Huai, “Should I clean you again with the Simple Washing Technique?”
“En. Help me retie my hair afterwards. You shook it loose.”
“Oh, okay.”
Standing in front of Xi Huai, Chi Muyao invoked the Simple Washing Technique to clean the two of them. Then he walked over to where Xi Huai’s head was and helped him fix his hair.
After removing his hair crown, Chi Muyao gathered his locks and rearranged them in an orderly fashion. The light sensations of his fingertips brushing against his scalp was surprisingly nice for Xi Huai, instead of annoying.
Chi Muyao accidentally touched the dragon horn on the right side of Xi Huai’s forehead a few times out of habit. He muttered as he straightened the other’s hair, “Your hair is so long…I thought someone as bad-tempered as you would suffer from hair loss.”
“…” Xi Huai didn’t even know how to respond these days.
Chi Muyao was already used to rambling to himself. He continued, “You young people are always in such a hurry. You rely too much on your youth and push your bodies beyond their limits…”
“You’re the one pushing it beyond its limits now…”
“…” Chi Muyao’s hands stilled and in the darkness, his face quickly flushed red.
Sahl: Ahaha, Xi Huai! Ahem.
Chapter Summary:
After Chi Muayo and Xi Huai do the deed, as expected, Chi Muayo’s cultivation level starts to rise and he staves off death. But the dual cultivating has an unexpected benefit for Xi Huai:
The Hui Dragon Flames rampaged in the bodies of him and his father, a backlash caused by the spiritual contract with the Hui that tormented them incessantly.
Miraculously, after some of his spiritual energy was siphoned off by Chi Muyao, some of the Hui Dragon Flame impurities were also purged from his body.
It was like the energy that caused him to lose control had been filtered out, leaving only the part that could help raise his cultivation.
This was an unexpected boon.
Chi Muyao spends ten days cultivating after their first round and is therefore silent, this has a profound impact on Xi Huai:
He couldn’t disturb Chi Muyao while he was cultivating, so he’d just been lying on the stone bed these past ten days with no one to talk to. It was absolutely suffocating.
Xi Huai had never been the talkative type before being locked up, but holding all his words in for so long changed that.
So we begin the emotional and mental connection in their burgeoning relationship. Of course, neither of them realise it at this point…
